A couple of the picks weren't totally Nathans fault. I was thinking 3 INT's coming into the game sounded about right. He's just not ready and that is kind of scary to think about if something were to happen to Tyrod. It might not be a terrible idea for the Bills to sign someone with some experience -- now.

The key will be if this change forces defenses to respect our passing game. If they do, then it opens up Shady to do what Shady does -- Own.
-
If Peterman can be mid level QB that'd be great. I'd focus on drafting a stud LG ( Richie isn't getting younger ) and a RB ( Neither is Shady ).

I watch enough football to know a few of those Newton turnovers are tough to pin on him.
Same for a few of Tyrods using that logic.
-
I'm on the boat that says he's well above average and good enough to be your QB on a super bowl winning team.
I'm not really sure what "franchise qb" really means.
-
Don't wish a damn thing bad to happen to the guy, but I swear to god I'm tired of hearing about it. Someone sign him and put his ass on the bench already. The media is like a bunch of whiny 3 year olds who aren't getting their way and won't shut up until they do.

For me it'd be the following.
1st Round - QB / WR ( Not a shot at Tyrod...I am a fan )
2nd Round - RB / WR
3rd Round - DL / RB / WR

Did you think you "knew football" better than the rest of us? Really? Wait, are you a "realist"?
Are you gonna sit in front of me at a pre-season game, and give me more JV coach analysis? Do I need to bring back my "fancy circles and arrows" threads, which I allowed Jeremy White to steal, because I am lazy, and it's his job anyway?
Hint: when any team can run, and stop the run, how in the schit name of God did you figure it only gets 4 wins?

The Bills continue to cash tickets after blasting the Raiders as short home favorites on Sunday.
EDIT: But, now that I think about it....how many of you were really going to put your $$$ where your mouth resides? Please. Much easier to S___post on TSW, right? It costs you nothing, but, it costs our time.
Sorry, but you naysayers earned this. Hopefully the crow tastes ok...put some A-1 on it...might help.

Good lord...this is horrific news. Pulling for the guy to come through.
-
Yea, my boss is oppressing me too because he expects me to do the work I signed my contract for.
-
I'd ask him to move to another country.
-
Doesn't really fit in here...but boy he's a good one.
Tough call but I can't see them taking on someone with his history.
-
I'm nearly to the point honestly. The protests really are starting to push me to not watch. I've loved the Bills since I can remember knowing what football is. To me, it has always been something to look forward to to get away from all the bad in the world. Now, it seems like all the political crap is spilling into it and the escape that it used to be is starting to fade.

He was always going to be. I said it at draft time, this will be a huge regret for the Bills from now on. DeShawn will be an elite, franchise QB in the NFL for years to come.

We are a dropped pass / bad throw away from 3 and 0. Who called that?
-
Nathan Peterman is your starter by midseason.
-
I think we are going to be a lot better than people are thinking we will be.

If you're looking to tank, Peterman might be the guy. Not because he's terrible....but because why not get his lumps in this year and gain some experience?
-
Yes, please. Nothing wrong with giving him a chance. Same as Boldin, yet to a lesser degree maybe, he'd be a good vet to help the young ones.
-
I think he makes the team but its a red shirt year for him....
Just dont like the idea of giving away high pick players given his injury situation......
I can see this unless someone offers a decent pick for him...which is unlikely.
-
7 - 9 feels about right. Next year 10 - 6.

Played well against 3rd stringers. I'm a fan of his but expectations surely need to be limited. If he gets some preseason time against 1st stringers ( which I'm sure he will ) and performs well, then, maybe there is a case.
All of that being said, I think Taylor goes down and Peterman lights it up second half of the season.

We have an offensive line problem, not a coordinator problem ( in my opinion ). Fix the OL - you fix this offense.
..defense is another story.
