I'm confused as to why we ran the ball so much tonight. It was a weird reversal of what's worked for us this year. We had way too many 3rd downs and eventually you're going to run out of luck on those. Especially that drive that took forever to start the 4th quarter, what was the game plan there? Don't we have a downfield passing offense?

I really am not worried about Allen or the offense, I think it was just a bad night for them. I like Gabe Davis but he's still a rookie and he can't get open as consistently as Brown can. Brown's injury combined with uncharacteristic drops and the terrible interception just snowballed into a bad performance. That doesn't concern me as much as the defense who have looked exactly the same all year long.

To your running point. I think it was because they THOUGHT a depleted team who hasn't been conditioning would allow them to wear them out. What I dont get is running when you have to score in a hurry.

I will beat the table that we need some speed in the backfield. Moss and Motor are essentially the same. No change of pace.

I am just worried this post will bring about Wade talk.

Try these stats from 2019 and see if you still feel that way:

    • He surrendered the most receptions (80) of any cornerback in the NFL last season, a full 10 more than second-place Justin Coleman of Detroit.

    • He surrendered the most receiving yards (940) — and the most yards after catch (426) — of any cornerback in the league.

    • He surrendered six touchdown passes during the regular season, tied for eighth-most in the league among corners.

For that mess just stick to what you got add depth

    LOL

John Brown last year had 76 receptions, 1000 + yards and 6 TD’s....

Brown can have good numbers but Diggs can’t?

You have to factor in defensive respect AND the already present rapport with Brown. That's ok though there is only 1 ball to go around and we have a solid x y and z. Just because Diggs is better than brown means very little. There is a lot that is at play here. What we can agree on, is the offense is better. The variations we present now will be so interesting to see how defenses prepare

I think the ball will be spread a lot more. Sharing the rock opening the field for Brown Beasley and an up and coming Dawson Knox. Its a toss up. I just feel like 65 reception is about right. This seems like it would get us over the hump

That's not really an implication. It's pretty much historically accurate. Black people didn't have rights as citizens when the national anthem was written, and there's an unsung verse that threatens black people with death who fought for their freedom against slavery.

Black people had 0 input into what the national anthem should be, and it was only enacted as the national anthem by executive order of a KKK admiring democratic president.

Playing the song in question, which is deeply spiritual and far more Christian than Francis Scott Keys tune is no different than singing God Bless America before a game...

The third verse is very poignant:

    God of our weary years
    God of our silent tears
Thou who has brought us thus far on the way
Thou who has by Thy might
    Led us into the light
Keep us forever in the path, we pray
Lest our feet stray from the places, our God, where we met Thee
Lest, our hearts drunk with the wine of the world, we forget Thee
    Shadowed beneath Thy hand
    May we forever stand
    True to our God
    True to our native land

THANK YOU!!!! I didn't want to br the one who points that out. FREEMEN.. slaves who couldnt take flight and fear of the graves.... why don't wer Sing the whole song.

I can see Allen looking like Big Ben in a few years.  He’s naturally a big dude and Buffalo has great but terrible for you food and he loves Popeyes.  That said, Big Ben (when not in a bathroom) is a really good qb.

When seeing him. Hes tall but I don't think weight is an issue. I thought him to be a solid basketball player build. Maybe I just don't know what big is anymore

I'm 45 so you're just a punk kid, haha.  The weather used to be brutal and it was definitely a factor.

We may be among the best places to play outdoors in the NFL.  It's nearly perfect football weather from camp through December.

Lol as you get older you start to specify to appreciate that. And be called young man lol.  But yes. I remember watching and I also remember wondering how you could play in it lol

Exactly, we need some guys that want to play here and will give 100%.

In fairness. Money talks. They all say they dont want to be here. Just get paid to play ball and be on the first thing outta here.

Hell if we submitted to they dont wanna be here... we probably would not have had 1 bowl appearance.

With that being said.. I dont like Cooper anyway
