  1. Statistically Singletary is a better receiver  than last year and about on par with last year rushing. The difference is we don't have Gore to compare him to. And he goes north and south unlike McCoy. He is what we should have known he was. He just isn't an RB1. And that's fine, but you can't continue to use him like he is. We must do better. Its not all the line at all.

They need to add a speedier back, which is fine. I am a little annoyed that we have used 2 3rds and still need to go find ANOTHER guy...and what, split carries 3 ways now?

Also, I cannot believe we still don't have a serious answer as to why Yeldon is not allowed to play on Sundays. If I were a beat reporter, I would ask every single presser. Not that Yeldon is a speedster, but he has been productive for us when literally nobody has been.

Mango if you knew my friends, lol. They have all but disallowed me from talking about the gross negligence there. I feel like I am just crusading. To draft the same guy 2 years in a row is agregious. I do like moss but he needs a complimentary piece.

I thought the same thing.  If they are stacking the box and guarding the screen, something has to be open, right?

I honestly don't think they have a ton of confidence to get outside with these backs. I remember watching the all 22 of the Chiefs game and it just seemd like, especially Singletary, lacked the burst to hit creases outside the tackle. Moss was still very green but I remember a few down blocks by Diggs and maybe Kroft? But Singletary seemed to cut inside as opposed to stretching it wide. Will be interesting to see if they don't add speed to that grouping.

For many of us that hot pretzel is tasting like crow.

No. Just used him in an advantageous role today. He's good when rushing evidently. Still cant cover. Looked like Edmunds and Klein had a nice confidence booster today. Loved it

I’m guilty of hammering both Klein and Edmunds and I’m happy they shut my ass up!

They played great. Dont beat yourself up though. Still 7 more to go. We can look back in week 17

He is literally playing injured (not hurt). He has real flaws, but they have no one else, so he’s playing. He is basically a one-armed player right now. Factor that in.

I absolutely factor that into not saying he's THE worst players on defense... hes just ONE OF the worst.

That's a cinchy one.  Justin Zimmer.  Dane Jackson.

I think Dane or Cam take tarons spot in the slot sooner than later

As the season has gone on, the Bills are being too shotgun oriented with too much RPO.  Josh has never been good at reading what to do in RPO.  He keeps the ball way too much, which is making it predictable.  Devin Singletary has 4 carries this year in RPO, Josh Allen has thrown the ball 29 times from RPO and has also ran a bunch.  Good chance if the defense just sticks to going after Allen, they will be correct, more time than not.

I look at these splits, and it pretty clear that Allen is best throwing from play action, and his worst throwing stats come from throwing from RPO.  Play to your strengths.  I also think QB running from play action is more effective than running from RPO, because the LB will usually creep up when they see the QB turn his back, versus stay patient when they can see the QBs eyes.

Over the last three games, pretty much all Singletary does is go left.  If you look at his next gen stats back to last year, he is much more effective when he is used all over the field.

I'm sure someone will say this is o line based, but if the o line is only allowing you to become so predictable, then you have to switch your line up.  I would put Nyseke in there with Feliciano.

I don't know why this team isn't adapting, but Belichick will eat this team alive.  All he is going to do is overload the Bills left side to stop the run, and then put a safety to the right side, because Allen struggles a lot more throwing to the left than right.

    I expect more from Daboll.

This post caught my eye. After watching the all 22 of the KC game it seems that he gets space on the left side. i like the pull-ability of the right side with morse and Winters but it seems as though those designs stretch too far out and Singletary doesn't seem to have the speed to get to the edge. I dont know if Williams and Winters create the holes of the left side. Maybe this will change when Feliciano gets back

We need one badly. Our running game ain’t all on the RBs but it’s part of the problem. Even when we do get a solid carry they are normally bought down from the guys behind them not the guys in front.

Singletary got great vision but he’s got no burst to take advantage of it

That left side was blocking pretty well for Singletary but like you said. The burst wasn't there and the holes closed for him

We are going to have a mess on our hands. Even if White is 40% we need him out there. The fact that we brought in no replacement level CB over the past 3 weeks is inexcusable. We should not be in position to be starting Cam Lewis it Dane Jackson. This is an absolute must win game It’s truly embarrassing.

Cam is fine... if he didn't have a club. After that it really gets dicey

I think the issue is we have a front four that specializes in getting after the qb and they aren’t doing that well.

when we showed a backbone vs the run game did anyone notice it was the entire second string along the front

I actually told my friend when we got that 3rd down stop it was backups. I found that interesting.

I really feel it sucks that against the top team in the league we decide to "try some guys out because they looked good in practice" why does McDermott have a propensity to tinker during the regular season. He did it with his O line a few years ago. Shouldn't that "best 5" be cemented in by week 6?

Ed Oliver and AJ Ep are huge liabilities on defense. Quite frankly a disappointment. Edmunds is good, but it’s clearly he is hurt. Milano is undervalued and was missed, he makes plays everywhere. We need a Bruce and LBs.

AJ is a non factor. Ed needs a space eater next to him. Edmunds isn't as good as people think. He isn't a true MLB and he will be paid soon. Is he worth it? Shoulder or no shoulder. He's not effective when the o line gets to the second level. Milano is the better of the 2 lbs for sure

You know if I thought he was healthy, in shape and wanted to play football I would, for sure on a cheap 1 year deal. Just not sure how many of those descriptions actually fit Marcel at this stage.

So a different person than he ever ven was? Lol. I remember meeting him at work after his rookie year i talked to him a bit. I joked with him asking can I pencil you in for 10 sacks. He promised me 14 sacks his second year. Im still waiting

  12. He turned into Joe Busc. I used to love Sal and not like Joe. But I have to agree. There is something to this. He's way to knowledgeable from his own background to become irritating. I hope he's on here but I'm starting to think sideline beat reporters shouldn't have full shows.

One guy called in today and started off too aggressive and its not clear if he was even quoting Sal correctly but I am noticing a trend.

Was hoping it was just me

  13. I miss Spain and Feliciano for their pull ability. I agree 1m% that we need a number 1 rb but that line has to do better as well. Winters I know nothing about but I know Ford and Dawkins are maulers and morse is agile so it remains to be seen what exactly they want up front.

Not to mention the RT spot is still by committee. I would have loved to try to get a rt in the draft. Maybe Trey Adams can get in shape and work the right side

Yeah but they've been a very poor pass defense too. It doesn't make sense to go away from what's been working for us all year. Especially once the Titans started pulling ahead. I've never seen less urgency from an offense down 3 scores in the 4th quarter. Ultimately it probably wouldn't have mattered but when it does matter they have to do better than that.

On some level I do understand that game plan. I thought early on they were trying to grind the Titans down. But they needed to change it up once it became apparent our defense couldn't stop them. Where was Beasley in the 1st half? It was just a poor game for Daboll and I think he has been outstanding in every other game.

I agree with that sentiment. I wish I were good enough to know the read progressions. It seemed like there were guys on passing plays who were open well before Allen threw it. If he did. Daboll needed to abort the run as you said. It was just the case of hoping to catch the d sleeping. But they seemed wide awake to me. Geez those guys can run for days
