Even if they made every gun illegal, the ***** loser Dems would let every off. What’s the point?

You just hit on a salient point, if you want Dems to back it make it illegal and then make it part of "black" culture. At that point no one will ever be charged with a gun crime in the liberal cities.

    https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/4416909-trump-takes-on-mcconnell-senate-gop-on-border-package/

Former President Trump is taking on Senate GOP Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and his leadership team by calling on Republican lawmakers to reject a compromise on border security.

Trump has said Republicans should say “no” to any deal that falls short of “everything needed” to stop the flow of migrants, a message that pointedly puts pressure on new Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) to walk the line. Johnson has been under pressure from the Senate GOP and the White House to agree to an emerging Senate deal.

Members of McConnell’s leadership team immediately pushed back against what appeared to be an attempt by Trump to tank the Senate deal.

“It’s not helpful,” said Senate Republican Whip John Thune (S.D.), the No. 2-ranking Senate GOP leader.

Thune argued the Senate’s Ukraine package is the best chance Republicans have to staunch the flow of migrants, which exceeded more than 300,000 people in December alone — an all-time monthly high.

“There are a number of pieces in there that are good, conservative border policies that we’ve been trying to get done for years,” he said.

I am curious what part of the bill is going to be the most effective? Or at least what improvement you would expect?

Please tell me the fentanyl thing- I truly have no idea what this lunatic is even referencing.

  3. My son is 18 and telling him he had to a Bills fan growing up backfired in that he hated football. He is now at FSU and enjoys it greatly but that is more despite my efforts than due to them. I would recommend that you allow him to distance himself from the Bills and maybe look into college teams and players he likes in NFL to root for instead of Bills exactly.

I have bias because I know Klein.

Klein wasn't the problem in the game. It was how he was used.

Williams is a liability with how he plays, Dobson is good for some scenarios.

I'd have got a hybrid 3-2-6 with Neal as the SLB over Swift like we did to shut him down. His two TDs were too easy.

Klein at MLB, Dobson at WLB with Dorian coming in on running downs.

I will agree with you that he was being misused but playing vs Chiefs we needed to do something different and he was not solution I saw.

Then why did we wait to have Neal in the game? Excuses were good until we tried too late to find the answer. ... And guess what? It worked. Neal 1 on 1 at the line with Kelce.

In pregame they mentioned it with Kelce being upset early in the season and screaming at Reid on the sideline. Kelce needs a clean release for his timing and for his ability to scheme himself open based on the defense. It's clear Kelce doesn't adapt well when a wrench is thrown at him. At the earliest signs we should have thrown the wrench: Neal.

Sure the Chiefs would have probably run for a little more but so what? Running wasn't winning the game for them.

I stated early in game when it was clear that Klein is not athletic enough to do what was needed that we should needed a better athlete on the field, I suggested Elam but Neal is a great athlete also. I am not sure if we win anyways but the current guy was not getting it done.

  6. I was asked by many coworkers today if this put things is real. I explain that it most likely is real and they will find 20 people at the bottom this weekend if they don't have a plan to stop it. I am both proud and embarrassed to be a member of this group at this exact moment.

Fact: More guns = more gun deaths

This is certainly a made up statement that has no basis  in large or small settings- the US had 39000 gun deaths in 1993 and since then the numbers of guns in the country has increased steadily and the number of deaths is less. In small settings I am certain that there is more guns than people in my neighborhood but not one gun related death in the 20years it has existed. The main issue seems to be liberals with guns.

How come Nikki Haley is running around saying this proved its a 2 person race when she came on 3rd?

I want DeSantis but recognize that it is a one person race, Trump is the nominee unless something crazy happens.

About two-thirds of voters wrongly believe President Biden wasn’t legitimately elected in 2020. That’s similar to where the GOP has been in national polls. But also consider this: Fewer than 1 in 10 Trump voters said Biden’s win was legitimate. Trump’s baseless claim pervades the party, but it defines his most devoted base.

You are stating 2/3 of  all voters, which means that about 40% of Biden voters think the election was questionable. Amazing you keep saying baseless but 40% of people that did not vote for him believe it.

All good, but I don't think that is the case otherwise no player diving for the pylon would actually score a TD when part of their body is out of bounds while they are diving in the air and extending an arm to get the football to the pylon.

NFL Rule states:  "Out Of Bounds A player is out of bounds when he touches any boundary line or touches anything — except a player, an official, or a pylon — that is on or outside a boundary line".'

So based on that, the Steelers player was not yet out of bounds, he was still in the air and had not yet come down out of bounds.  So whether the ball nicked his helmet or not is irrelevant because at the discussing point where the might have (but IMHO did not) touch his helmet, the player was not yet out of bounds and therefore could not make the ball out of bounds.

But honestly, I think one of the other angles clearly shows it did not hit his helmet anyway.

That is actually pretty clear so you are definitely correct.

    2 things on that fumble:

First - IMHO there is clear footage the ball did not hit his helmet from another angle.

Second - Most importantly, what no one seems to notice is that even IF it had hit his helmet, that did NOT make the ball out of bounds because at the moment it is alleged to have hit the helmet the player was still in the air and had NOT YET touched down out of bounds and therefore was a player STILL in play.  So his helmet could have hit it (but didn't really) and it doesn't make the ball dead because the player is not yet out of bounds.  (capital words to highlight not yell).

This was 100% a fumble and Bills legal inbounds recovery.  Refs blew it.  There were some calls Bills got away with and some calls Pitt got away with, that is the nature of the game.  But this fumble was a incredibly egregious screw up by the refs and almost changed the whole complexity of the game had it not been for Elams INT.

I am not arguing but I am clarifying- I thought if a player was off the ground but hanging out of bounds he is out? I clearly remember a game against NE where they called it out when the players helmet was hanging over the sideline but nothing touched down. Obviously that could have just been poor officiating then also. Guy yesterday appeared to be off ground when he touched ball

If the Ravens come out slow and flat after 2 weeks off and Houston can jump out to an early lead it puts the pressure on Lamar to win as a passer. That would be a huge advantage for the Texans.

If the Texans want to pull the upset this is the game script that gets them there.

This is the reason I think Texans have a reasonable shot at winning, early lead puts pressure on Lamar.
