https://www.washingtonpost.com/elections/2024/08/29/trump-false-attacks-q-anon-harris-suit/ Donald Trump amplified a vulgar joke about Vice President Kamala Harris performing a sex act. He falsely accused her of a staging a coup to secure the Democratic nomination and faulted her without evidence for a security lapse that enabled a rogue gunman to try to assassinate him. He shared a manipulated online image of Bill Gates in an orange jumpsuit and a call for Barack Obama to face a “military tribunal.” He promoted explicit tributes to the QAnon conspiracy theory. He hawked digital trading cards in an online infomercial along with pieces of his debate night suit. (“People are calling it the knockout suit.”) His campaign feuded publicly with Arlington National Cemetery over their visit.

Polling? I have said it before, I think polling really misses younger voters. And they are the ones who will vote for the measure

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/article/2024/aug/26/trumps-campaign-rallies-harmful-or-helpful A hard core of local supporters, some wearing T-shirts proclaiming “I’m voting for a convicted felon”, remained alongside traveling groupies who follow Trump from rally to rally. But in rural cities such as Wilkes-Barre, there is also a contingent who go along to political rallies for the entertainment value, to see a former president on a Saturday afternoon when there is not much else going on, or to help weigh up how to vote. Some of them were not impressed. “He reminded me why I’m not going to vote for him this time,” said Jenny, a local businesswoman who did not want to give her full name because she didn’t want to alienate customers. “I voted for him in 2016 and had a Trump flag in the front yard. I voted for him again in 2020 but didn’t put the flag out that time. I’ve been thinking of voting for him again because Biden’s been so bad for the economy and Kamala won’t be any better. But after listening to that, I’m actually afraid of Trump being president again. I don’t know what he was talking about half the time. Perhaps he was always like that but he seems worse, more unstable.” After listening to that, I’m actually afraid of Trump being president again. I don’t know what he was talking about half the time Jenny, a former Trump supporter -
This is so very true

The FBI stepped into the 2016 election and launched an open, public and media frenzy generating investigation against Hillary Clinton and helped Trump win Deep state -

It does look bad. Yes. We did not get out of Vietnam because no one wanted to be seen as "bad" by pulling the plug on something that needed the plug pulled on it. We stayed, soldiers died, nothing got better, and we had to leave anyway. Same here. It was time to go. And Biden did it early in his administration. Should he have waited until we had another election? Let soldiers die so he won't get blamed? No, he took them out asap, because it was the right thing to do. Do you think we should still be there? -
So B-man thinks we should still be in Afghanistan? It's horrible there for women, yes. But do we really have the ability to change the situation with troops on the ground? I would say not. An army can do a lot of things, bringing a people out of the middle ages is not necessarily one of them

Biden got us out of that place, yes. Trump did not. The question raised here is did Trump sabotage the efforts? -

Pretty serious charge against Trump in relation to Afghanistan. True? -
He basically confirmed he said it by saying the Congressional Medal of Honor was not as good as the medal HE gave out! That the people receiving the CMH were not good looking, all shot up and all. He also trashed out McCain, a wounded and tortured veteran, and others. Trump is very unpatriotic. He is good and rallying haters, and tricking weak minded people into paying for things like Trump U Trump is only about himself. He hates vets because they are honored and did something he would never do

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2024/08/25/kamala-harris-dnc-coalition-unity/ Trump makes this all possible. Democratic capitalists and democratic socialists alike (and many, many people in between) share similar understandings of the threat he poses to the republic. But providing an ongoing narrative that explains such an alliance and keeps it mobilized is a challenge. Harris and her team nailed it in less than a month. Precisely because everyone knows that Harris would be the first female president, and is a woman of Black and South Asian descent, this unifying narrative did not need to dwell on her identity. On the contrary, the beauty of a patriotism rooted in welcome and neighborliness is that her story becomes exceptional in the way that America itself, at its best, has always been exceptional. Make no mistake: Underlying the unifying chants and flag waving is a serious debate over how patriotism should be defined. The Harris campaign will implicitly be a running argument for the idea that embracing pluralistic democracy, not skin color or blood or longevity of residence, is the true mark of a patriot. Similarly, Harris is defending a definition of freedom that is two-sided. Critics of an active, empowering government see negative liberty, freedom from government interference, as the freedom that matters. Harris agrees on limits to government intrusion and nowhere more so than in standing up for reproductive rights. But she is also defending positive liberty, government’s ability to give citizens the freedom to achieve their goals. Hence her vigorous endorsement of Head Start, the Affordable Care Act and the child tax credit. Plus her convention speech’s insistence on “the freedom to live safe from gun violence,” on the right to “live free from the pollution that fuels the climate crisis” and on government’s role in helping create her “opportunity economy.”

Truth You should not say things like that. I'm obviously a lot smarter than you so if I'm an idiot, you must be a semi-functional, addle minded imbecile. Be that as it may, you did not answer the question in post you responded to. Do you actually consider Donal Trump patriotic? The non-answer says a lot. What imbecile would say that clown is a patriot?
