One of the biggest cities in the world, surrounded by states with lax guns laws, this should surprise anyone? -
https://www.yahoo.com/news/kamala-harris-energized-democrats-much-090001852.html (Bloomberg) -- The surging enthusiasm for Vice President Kamala Harris in Georgia and North Carolina is convincing local Democratic leaders that she can score the first double win in the Southern swing states since Jimmy Carter. More than 52,000 volunteers have joined the Harris campaign there since she announced her presidential bid — so many that county party heads barely know what to do with them. One official in the Greensboro, North Carolina, area described her headquarters as a “madhouse,” with up to 30 people showing up every day to help and a deep-pocketed donor shelling out to pay neighborhood canvassers. Harris, a Californian, has opened up an electoral path in two traditionally Republican states in the South that no Democrat has won together since Georgia native Carter in 1976. In the latest Bloomberg News/Morning Consult poll of registered voters in seven swing states, she’s now leading Donald Trump in both states by 2 percentage points. That’s within the margin of error, meaning the two are essentially in a toss-up election. But it’s an improvement from her showing in July, when she lagged Trump by 2 points in North Carolina and was even with him in Georgia — and it’s much better than President Joe Biden’s numbers before he exited the race.

Well, if they had 'quit fighting" by taking a cease fire, those hostages might have been released. No one trusts Netanyahoo to stop the war, which he is so responsible for and benefits from continuing That's death to the rest of the hostages -

Trump plan: I support it all, I will fix it by myself and I'm really great, my uneducated followers say so themselves CNN: Trump offered no plans for how he would accomplish this or anything -
From CNN; A nationwide strike is underway in Israel after its largest labor union called for the action to push for a hostage deal, saying the “entire Israeli economy will shut down.” Some government ministries, municipalities, universities, hospitals, and schools are expected to be disrupted. Flights were halted at Tel Aviv’s international airport. From the Washington Post: JERUSALEM — Protests aimed at pressuring Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to reach a cease-fire deal escalated dramatically Monday with a general strike that closed or delayed schools, universities, businesses and flights in much of the country. Light-rail systems in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem were shuttered Monday. Walkouts by doctors and nurses restricted some hospitals to emergency services only. Some banks and large malls closed. Demonstrators blocked streets in Tel Aviv and lined highway bridges across the country. Flight departures were delayed for at least two hours, according to the Israel Airports Authority, with some flights resuming after 10 a.m., but a union spokesperson said workers would try to extend the shutdown. Arriving flights were unaffected, although most major international carriers had suspended service to the airport in light of the instability in the region.
