That's so stupid.

Loss of 19 yards with that penalty.
4th and less than 5 vs 3rd and 21. They'd probably go for it on 4th. IMO, the odds are better for the defense on 3rd and 21.

you have to take the free 3 points after a turnover. would’ve been stupid not to
I think they learned their lesson after the Jets game. There's no need to be aggressive when the D is playing this well. Just take the points where you can get them and you'll win.

54 yard FG in that slop...nice work by Bass on that one.

That was just a miserable play call.

Diggs seems to be OK. Back in the game.

Bernard is having one hell of a good half.

Sure in a still shot. And a great angle. I’m reality he’s peeking around 2 defenders, he’s diving and the balls wet.
Yeah, that last tenth of a second might be misleading. The defender was in good position to block Knox's vision to the ball through most of the route.

Knox cost us 4 points.
I can't really fault him for that. It looked like the defender was blocking his sight line to Allen and the ball.

Harris is a short yardage TD machine. He should be in there every time inside the 5.

That was a great play by Milano.

Absolutely hate going for it on 4th down. Does anyone not see the score? We are up 11. We just need to kick a few FGs, and then this a snoozer.
I love being aggressive, except when the score says you shouldn’t be.
I would have kicked the FG, but I can't argue with it if it works.

I think I would take the FG here and go up 14.

I guess the Jets D is just on Josh's head. Much more like his good self this week
To a certain extent, yes, but I think it's largely just a case of not playing for 6 months and getting impatient against a good D.

Murray and Harris will be the difference this year for us, if Josh cuts down the turnovers…
that run looked like Murray wasn’t takin no for an answer!!
One of the biggest weaknesses of this offense in recent years has been the inability to grind out short yardage plays with the RB. It looks like they may have finally found an answer for that issue.

Tre is struggling
Yeah, they're going right after him.

Tell yourself what you want. Josh has to own this. When he is frustrated by a defense that won't let him throw deep, he gets reckless and makes critical mistakes. He refuses to take what is given. DCs know it and the Jets gave a master class in it last Monday.
I don't disagree, he needs to be more patient and I'm not going to defend that mess Monday night.
On the other hand, I don't agree with this narrative that he's been an interception machine the last two seasons. His interception rate has been a little higher than you'd like, but not outside the norm, around once every 41 pass attempts. The fumbles are a bigger problem than the interceptions.

32 picks in two years , most of any QB. It isn't one game.
That's true, but it's also somewhat a function of throwing more passes than most other teams. Matt Stafford had a higher interception percentage than Josh Allen in both 2021 and 2022 (Allen was 17th and 24th, respectively). Stafford led the league in total INTs in 2021. They won the Super Bowl that year.
These days, QBs are throwing so few interceptions that a few more than average is not necessarily the end of the world.

I think he had a bad game because he got impatient in the opener against an excellent defense. It happens. If it continues over the next few weeks, then we may have a problem, but I expect that he'll be fine.
As for the second half of last year, we know he was playing with a throwing arm injury, so I can generally give him a pass for struggling at times.

In typical Buffalo fashion, let’s trash our elite QB after one bad game.
Maybe the bengals should get rid of burrow after that game yesterday as well
I think he'll be fine and this was just a **** game against a team that matches well against them, but at the same time, Allen deserves plenty of criticism for this one. If he just plays smart and doesn't turn the ball over, the Bills were going to win this game.

There are no excuses for that. I thought he played reasonably well in the first half, but that second half was absolutely putrid.

Perfect way to start OT...false start.

Bad throw. Gabe had a step. Gotta put that over the defender.
Yeah, it wasn't so much a bad decision as it was a bad throw.

I’m thinking we should have taken that penalty.
With the way this team has given up big plays tonight, I wouldn't give them another chance.
