I hope the last game is completely meaningless and we rest starters and we can just watch a game with no fear. Just enjoy a nice Sunday game. No expectations, no concern. Just see what Fromm has and chill out. Just a little care free celebration of the season before the serious stuff.

What makes you think Fromm gets activated? That kind of defeats the purpose of him being isolated all season

I believe he goes on waivers so he won't make it to us. But I also don't know what value he'd have here. He's been out with an injury the past 2 games so I don't even know if he could fill in for John Brown in the short term. I don't see a fit for him.

I don't think he has to go on waivers,he is a veteran with enough service time to become a free agent

Worley doesn’t know the defense and they are not simple in their approach, but you’d rather have him then a healthy Wallace who knows it all too well with a nickel to have 5 DB’s.

Lee is possible though now that he’s been practicing for around a week, and we only played 2 LB’s.

Worley played for McDermott in Carolina didnt he? He knows the defense

I think the Bills need moves on the Defense anywhere. The offense could use help at TE, possibly RB and OL depth.

    List any realistic targets:

    Defense

DT - Atkins, Q Williams, Tomlinson, Jarrett

DE/LB - Dunlap, Fowler, Kerrigan, Hewitt

    DB -  Poole, King, Gilmore

    Offense

TE's - Rudolph, Fells or Njoku

WR's - Will Fuller or John Ross

    RB's - Breida, Freeman, Lindsay

Bills can't afford guys like Gilmore . Somebody in the last year of a rookie deal for a late round pick, maybe

I really didn't expect this kind of production from him this season.  I thought he would be pretty quiet this year and benefit from studying at Wide Receiver University behind Diggs, Brown, and Beasley learning what it takes to be a solid NFL WR.  He is making key plays every time his number is called.  He doesn't get many targets but he takes advantage of every single one and has been hauling in passes that move the sticks and score TDs.

Through four games he has 8 targets and 8 receptions.  For those of you without an abacus handy, that's a 100% catch rate.  Two of those catches were TDs.  He's on pace for 8 TDs this year, his rookie year, as the team's WR4.  He was averaging an incredible 14.7 yards per reception coming into the Raiders' game and that average will go up with his 26 yard TD reception today.  A critical play that won't show up on his stats was the route at the end of the Rams game that he drew the flag on.  Being aggressive and running the route as hard as he could helped win that game for us.

The big takeaway from me is that the NFL game just doesn't seem too big for him. I think Beane and his scouts really found a late round gem in Davis. He was the 17th WR selected in this year's draft.  Crazy.  I hope Beane can find the money to keep John Brown after this year.  I'd hate to take any weapon away from this offense the way it is clicking right now,  but if Brown does move on, I think Gabe is showing that he has the chops to step up and become a legit WR2 with upside in this League.

    14.7 is good,but hardly "incredible "

Bojorquez was at the bottom of the league last year in punt average.  He was decent in 2018 with about a 45 yard average but still in the bottom half.

If they’re serious about having good special teams, why do they stick with this guy? With his 40 yard average last season, he’s losing  5 to 10 yards of field position vs other punters.  I know they emphasize positional punting and dropping the ball inside the 20 but how many times have we seen a shank from our end when a booming kick was needed?

Who is available that is any better ?

The new NFL Rules regarding Practice Squads allows up to 16 in number. Six members of the practice squad can have unlimited NFL experience.

I think 16 is a clumsy number for any team.

How to you think the Bills will handle the Practice Squad?

Why the hell would you NOT want all 16,especially with all the other teams taking advantage of the rule? This is another usless post

That's about another 1/3 of the 53 man starters practicing.  I think it interferes with game plans and routine practices.

No,it doesn't, the coaching staff will manage

  8. You can dress 48 but that must include 8 OLinemen. Can elevate 2 players weekly from practice.squad  to active roster, effectively making it 55. PS is now.16,with the opportunity to include 6 veterans. By the way, this is very simple to look up

We have a perceived excess of good WRs and TEs ...instead of cutting or trading for nothing a younger WR .. why not trade Cole Beasley (same question could be asked about John Brown .. but I love the Josh - Smoke connection)? It would give us a better draft pick at least in theory and more cap room definitely. I would also love to see them unload Tyler Kroft. I am certain the board would have no issue with Kroft leaving, but what about Cole? Note: No disrespect to Cole .. I appreciate what he brings, but looking at it from a trade value / cost / productivity perspective I think we would be better making this type of move.

Again.....you can't FORCE a team to trade with you

And I’m going the IR route rather than straight cut because of just that — the ability to have DiMarco’s presence/leadership still in the room.

Leadership and experience are good...but so is " production". Can't keep guys if they don't offer much on the field
