I don't know about anyone else but after last night's fiasco my anxiety is starting to rise

for the pats game. Seems like the worse the opponent, the better they look when they play the bills.

I’m a Bills fan.. I have anxiety going into every game!   But I’d rather be playing the Pats next week than the Ravens.   I’m glad we get a day or two to rest.

  2. Sent you a message…

In short, to answer all your questions from paragraph 1… NO.    Except, overall, I thought Josh had a good game. A couple of off throws, but I don’t expect him to be perfect.  In the end.. he won this game for us along with Ed Oliver.

I thought McDs defense showed the affect of injuries again. They struggled. But held the Chargers to FGs with short fields all night.  Gotta give them credit for that!!  Ed Oliver was easily the defensive, if not entire team, MVP.  Poona was ok.  But ..nothing special. Bottom line. Defense came up big when they needed it most but suffered from having to take the field after 3 turnovers.

to me it felt like a game where… the Bills got this, no problem. Then ..bam.. big set back play.  Ok.  Reset.  We got this now… back.. turnover.  Ok reset. We got this… bam.   Wtf!!  We can still do this..  reset looking good… bam!  No you don’t.   It was just a game of miscues and missed opportunities.   But they did just enough to win and get out of there.

  4. I’m feeling good!   Get to relax and enjoy Christmas now.   Had the Bills lost and I sat here watching all the other teams playing and talking about their playoff spots… there would have been a miserable pit in my stomach.     As it stands.. the sun is shining, presents are under the tree, Bills are currently #6 seed!

I don’t watch any of the NFL shows anymore.  So I don’t care what the idiots are saying about the Bills narrow win.  We won.  We’re on to the Patsies!    Keep winning!!!!

    Go Bills!!

  5. I know a lot of posters are frustrated and out of their heart meds. But Josh and the Boys just gave us a win to savor over Christmas, while vaulting into the #6 seed position.

Yeah it was ugly… but man it feels so much better drinking to this win than the alternative would have been.   Enjoy people.  The season is just beginning !!

    Go BILLS!!!

How is that any kind of standard of quality? Is McDonald's better than Ruth's Chris?

I only watched a little bit and it all looked AI generated

Interesting… a lot of the camera work looked like real drone footage to me.  I was thinking a few AI generated characters or “enhanced” scenes.  Certainly sounds like some over dubs.    Pretty interesting how it was all put together.

People are using AI and then claiming they did "the work." It's bull#### to get followers and make a buck. People out there are actually selling AI art as their own, and they think it's harmless because they don't understand how the code really works. AI directly samples from other real art, putting actual art from real people who did the real work, into it's images.

It's a losing battle, because generation after generation will let AI take over their lives, as we have, but we should remember this time in history.

My concern is ..at what point is there no real new content out there and it’s just AI generated from AI.  At what point do we hit the tipping point and we’ve lost creativity, and more importantly the ability to discern what is creatively generated and what is just regenerated.

can I ask… what parts of this video do people think at AI generated?  I bit specific but I want to know if what I’m seeing is what I think I’m seeing.

I mean it's definitely AI art and voice, but I guess he may have written the story and then fed that with pictures of the people/characters to the computer.

Does kind of feel like people took it way too seriously, it's ridiculous, let it be ridiculous.

It’s hard to imagine anything being produced without some amount of AI (photoshop in my day) enhancement.  However, most of that footage looked like drone footage to me.  Albeit, extremely well done flying if so!  But I know folks that can easily fly one that well.

I seem to recall a similarly shot video being posted last year?  Maybe they used AI to update it with this season’s references, rather than reshoot the entire sequence?

Either way… this group has some serious talent. It’d be great to see more content from them.

  9. I thought the OLine was all supposed to be within a yard of the LOS.. but it seems everyone just has one lineman slightly behind the next, by the time you get to the tackle, he’s usually 2 yards off the ball.  Look at the infamous KC offensive Offside play, for ex.    Am I seeing this all wrong?

Exactly.  So that's why it's not quite a game plan that "Kyle Allen could have delivered".

Fair point.   LOL. I even second guessed writing that sentence.  Kyle may not have been as good with it…  I was trying to imply that we didn’t need one of the best QBs in the league because the run game was Cooking!  But, it’s definitely a fair point… having the threat of Josh keeping it and running is just another wrinkle to make defenses pause.

I guess ideally we can beat up a couple easy teams here, but play a much more balanced game - mixing it all together making upcoming coaches have to prepare for …everything.

Correct. Everyone should remind themselves on a weekly basis this is a matchup league. Miami's OL is one of the worst in the league, they are not going to physically abuse Dallas's front like we did. That being said if looks like their starting NT Hankins will be out again so that will give Miami an advantage in the run game. Good news is that Malik Hooker was back at practice so he should be good to go. I think the Cowboys can limit Hill. Biggest thing for them is controlling the run on early downs. Their defense runs through an elite pass rush and they never had a chance to tee off against us. Knock Tua around a bit and they can turn the game in their favor.

Let's not forget the Cowboys were looking like clearly the 2nd best team in the league before they came to Buffalo and got punched in the mouth. That level of play didn't completely disappear overnight. Miami will have their hands full.

Agreed.  Dallas seems to have a defense built entirely to stop today’s passing offenses.  It’s why I think they can rebound (or hope they can) and give Miami a much needed loss. Miami can run… but only to set up the pass.  The passing game is their game.

Its also why I think Buffalo dominated Dallas last week. We went full heavy run and they just didn’t have the tools to respond.  They expected Josh to be Josh… and Brady designed a game plan that Kyle Allen could have delivered.

This is also why Buffalo, if they can keep this level of intensity and focus up, are getting a lot of talk as the team no one wants to play.  Because we all know what Josh can do… but if they can flip a switch and run with power… how do you defend them?    IMO, they go as far as the defense can take them at this point.  The very real run threat combined with the Allen passing/running game is a nightmare to try and defend.

edit: wanted to add… I hope they get a big early lead and then the game is comfortable enough to put some plays on tape to give other teams something to think about.   End arounds, different formation groups, etc.

Physicality? Like when he gets muscled all game long and is a giant liability in the run game? I don't think I've ever seen such a soft large human in my life. He used to add quickness/agility in the pass rush, but even that has sucked this season aside from last week.

You are wrong.  You can’t just ignore all his good play and conclude that what’s left is useless.

Many of you are too young to remember the 2005 Steelers game. All we needed was a win to make the playoffs; the Bills were on a five-game winning streak. The Steelers had clinched a playoff spot and made it known early in the week they were sitting their starters--which they did--and we still lost 29-24.

Never count your wins before the game is played!

This is a different team.  I would be shocked if they come out flat.  At some point we have to leave the past failures of this franchise ..in the past.

  13. This international crap has been unwanted by the fans and players since day one, and the league just keeps flipping us all off.   If they want to be international… just go all in and put new franchises in these markets and let them see how that goes.  I mean what could go wrong with a bunch of teams playing nfl style football throughout Europe?

But stop shorting the US fans, and increasing injury risk to our players.  It’s just flipping ridiculous.

A great QB is of course required but a great Coach is also required if you are going to win as much as they did.  Right now he could be the greatest coach in all of football but a mac jones led team aint getting it done.

For the 'dynasty' type stuff you need both, great QB and coach. For a flash-in-the-pan Superbowl you probably just need 1 or the other.

That… yeah.  And a whole lot of cheating and bending every rule in the book.  Of course, having a few refs in your back pocket don’t hurt either.   But yeah, just a great coach.

There were so many egregious calls that went against us on Sunday it was pathetic. Bull crap flags that always negated big plays or first downs. then flags that kept their drives moving. Or the random offset to throw a flag on them, but not really penalize them by saying we were at fault too. Then the multiple PI's/Defensive Holding calls passed over that should have gone against Philly. Multiple holds by their OL. The AJ Brown potential fumble that wasn't even reviewed. The unnecessary roughness that should have been called for the hit on Diggs. The one where he get blasted in back after a TD. Blatant favoritism like we saw on Sunday is so absolutely sickening and truly does lend credence to the whole "NFL is rigged" crowd. I can't see how no one can be held accountable for it. If I was a coach or a player, give me that fine because I am putting all of them on blast at the end of the game in that press conference.

And none more egregious than the non called horse collar illustrated just a few posts up.  Its just unfathomable that a QB that is one of the faces of the NFL, could be rag dolled to the ground by his pads, his jersey nearly ripped off.. and the Ref literally feet away with one responsibility… to watch the QB misses that? ???   AND somehow looking directly at all that decides the QB commits the foul by not throwing a pass well enough to hit his receiver in the hands while getting tossed down.

These are game changing calls and non calls that the refs are making.  The fact that they are never punished and the league has not done more to eliminate such clear and blatant manipulation of the game can only mean one thing…  the league is ok with refs influencing the outcome of the games to favor certain teams over others.

If the league wanted to have any appearance of impartiality, they should fine Hochuli and suspend him pending a review of who’s paying him off.    It’s just unacceptable to think he just didn’t see the horse collar or that he saw it but didn’t think it was what it so blatantly was. He’s either on the take or completely inept.

So if he got tackled on the spot then it's a catch, but if he gets it punched out on that same spot it's incomplete. Like I get it but at the same

time it just confuses what a catch is and is not.

Apparently now there’s a 3 second rule or something according to posters here.  What I don’t get is does that apply if you catch it and fall down?  Like do you have to fall really slow to reach the required made up time?

Bills got screwed.  Think the league cares?  Nope. They just been giving calls to the opposition for decades now.

    YEAH BABY THAT WAS FUN!

How many games of the year, thriller, one for the record book type games have the Bills lost?   Just add this to the pile of amazing games I’ll never wanna see or hear of again… because Buffalo is the team that lost.

In the superbowl years they were very good at having the ball last and when it didn't work you could usually count on Bruce to make a play.  But they were very good at scoring on the last drive of the game

To be fair… Josh is pretty good at scoring on the last drive of the game.

The current team’s problem is we have no one on defense that can get the stop when they get the ball back with under 2mins.

…and when they do force a fumble to seal the game…the refs just step in and say uhhh no.

  20. I was gonna say play Line Backer.  Because this defense needs some serious help.

That’s the problem going forward.   We’ve drafted primarily defense for years… and now they’re old and washed out.  Time to draft more defensive players, while we rely on Josh to be the only playmaker on offense.

The Bills need to develop a breakaway jersey for Diggs. The Refs routinely let him get mugged like this with no call.  But a jersey that just rips away once grabbed… 1. He could finish the route and make the catch. And 2. It would be blatantly obvious the DB had a handful of his jersey.  Only problem… they would need a dozen or more jerseys for him every game.

Somehow that was not a penalty. But the Bills DB got called for touching a guy on the arm on 3rd down extending an eventual scoring drive.  Literally touching, in no way was his progress impeded or his jersey pulled.   But that was a drive extending penalty.   Diggs and Allen get there jerseys ripped off…  result penalty on Buffalo.  The refs rigged the game.

    The league office needs accountability.
