The team had 15 different chances to win that game.

    They went 0-15.

Not closing games is a major problem. I don't see how this team wins 4 straight potentially close playoff games.

If they don't turn it around immediately, we won't have to worry about it.

Agreed... the last couple games it just fees like the other teams are making all the tough, contested plays.  While the Bills seems to be just out hustled more often than not.    They make some plays... but at THE most critical time... they fall short.

Can't get over this. Lewis literally pins the ball to Jeffersons hand.

If lewis just stops and watches the play unfold Jefferson just drops it. He didn't even have to do anything.

    What a ***** moron.

“Just knock it down!” .. needs to be on a plaque over the Bills tunnel... every defensive player should slap it and say... knock it down.. every time they run onto the field.

You can blame Josh for losing the game, but the coaches could have put the team in a better spot a few times. Passing up an easy FG was a mistake, and they could've taken a safety instead of letting Allen have to sneak the ball from in his end zone.

Lean too hard on one guy and he breaks down

    They are ruining Allen IMO

I absolutely was thinking take the FG.   Wish they would have.

The end of the 4th... don’t QB sneak. The entire defense expected it... roll Allen out for an easy couple yards or he tosses it out of bounds if they cover him.  Do that 3 times.. then take the safety.

OT.  When you have the ball of the 20.. plenty of time.   They should have run it.  You don’t need to throw to the endzone 3 times.

Some very questionable play calls to say the least.

Hopefully he can play but I really hope the Bills let Singletary and Cook do all of the running 100%. No need for Josh to run especially if he is hurting. We need Josh throwing the ball not running it. No need for him to take extra hits.

Yep.   You would think now is finally the time to hand the ball off and keep the passes to screens and other such “easy” throws.

edit... And can Terry talk to the league about doing something when a QB does a QB sneak and the defender grabs one of his lower legs and pulls him backwards with it nearly 5yds!

This loss is squarely on Josh Allen.

    Bad game, oh well

    ..

I’m gonna disagree a little... first let me say Josh did not play a great game, made bad throws and reads.  He clearly owns some of the blame for the loss.

But the Bills punted and the Jets took over in a tie game, 7mins left at their 4 yard line.   The defense absolutely has to get a stop.   They gave up several long, methodical drives for a score.  And that one was the worst.   Our defense more often than not seems to give up that final score when they just shouldn’t.

Despite all that, Gabe Davis has a few drops on the day.  And the worst was the final offensive play of the game for the Bills. Josh hit him perfectly in his chest 60ish yards down the field. And the ball literally fell untouched through his arms.   At the very least we should have had a shot at a long, end of regulation FG attempt.   Davis just has to catch that ball.

I think to place all the blame squarely on Josh is just overlooking all the plays that it seemed the entire team didn’t make at one point or another.

Bills are 6-2, lost to what are now two 6-3 teams...played yesterday without Poyer, Hyde, White ,  Milano, and Rouseau for a half...... and this is what i have on this board this morning

Josh Allen stinks and has no confidence

Josh Allen is getting over coached

    The Bills RBs stink

    The Bills WRs stink

    The Bills OL stink

    The Bills TE stinks

( tell me if i am wrong, but i am pretty sure that is every position on Offence stinks according to this board)

    The Bills LBs stink

    The Bills secondary stinks

    The Bills kicker stinks

The Bills HC and DC stink and cant stop the run and wont make adjustments( that one really kills me)

The Bills GM is a buffoon who cant draft

    Did i miss anything?

I think you forgot how bad the D line stinks.

He  misses Dabol. Seems like they didn't keep anything from previous seasons. No motion, misdirection plays...Drops back to pass, looks for Diggs then leaves the pocket and scrambles. I think Dorsey is a big part of the problem. No imagination in the play calling. Why is Knox not being thrown to at all?

    Very good points.

I was impressed with the D stand at the 2 minute warning. That was a good stop and gave the offense a chance.

...after letting the Jets literally run rigjt over them with a drive starting at the 4yard line.  Yah they stopped them. But ever hear the expression.. too little too late. ??

Color me officially concerned about our inability to stop the run.   We had chances to win, the offense and Josh struggled.  But in a tie game, mid 4th quarter, the defense collapsed.

In reading Twitter and other teams' message boards, I've learned that many opposing fans feel about Allen the way Bills fans used to feel about Brady: that he whines too much to the refs when he gets hit.

I don't see it that way, but then again, I'm a biased Bills fan.

It's possible that if Allen were on the opposing sideline, I'd hate the guy.

I think Josh complains to the refs when he gets hit in the head or tripped and they don’t see it.   But he never complains when he gets hit while running around or that spilt second after he throws the pass.   Subtle difference perhaps.

I remember the Blue on Blue for the Opener being touted as our death nell and now it’s our savior. I’ve decide Superstition is stupid. I stopped wearing my special shirts / jerseys etc this year. We win with talent and heart and not with fashion or a special mental or physical trinket guiding their actions….

However my dog still believes he must wear his lucky 6-0 jersey this year. LOL.

So you’re saying all your special shirts/jerseys are bad luck.   Glad you stopped wearing them!

He was seeing ghosts. You can interpret how you choose, I can interpret it how I choose. He stunk in the 2nd half. Facts matter.

So facts matter... but words don’t?

If a word or phrase has an accepted and understood meaning, you can’t just “interpret” it differently.  And if you do, just acknowledge that when called out by someone.   A simple... I’m sorry. I used the word/phrase in a different context because I felt like be different today.   (Or perhaps a more accurate... I’m sorry, I made a mistake saying that.)   ....would do.

No. We barely use one TE. What would be the point of having two? We aren't going to change our offense mid-season.

😉 I agree with you.   My earlier post was a tongue in cheek response based on the “epic trade” thread.

I’m not against a trade, but for a TE?  Any TE, that would be unnecessary to say the least.
