  1. The # of teams ahead of us in the AFC Due to records and head to head tiebreakers if SD wins today. Only 4 teams Jets, Jags, Titans and Raiders below us.

New owner needs to clean house from top to bottom, but he won't. No Franchise QB, weak OL, Cluster !@#$ at WR despite the talent, no TE, crappy coaching. All we have is a damn good Defense going to waste.

    Mr. P.... PLEASE clean house.

  2. So we have watched our hated 'Fins be a suckfest for the last two+ years. NFL pundits galore as well as dolphin fans have thrown Tannehill under the bus as a project gone bad. Too many picks. Doesn't see the field. Not sure if he's ever going to get it.

There was talk of benching him.....for Matt Moore!?

Point being, this is the natural progression of a young QB in this league. You take your lumps and maybe they pan out and maybe they don't.

I would say that Buffalo's D was bringing it pretty hard last night. I realize the PI against Gilmore was crap but that was hardly the play that won the game for them. Tannehill got the snot knocked out of him in the first half and showed he is maturing into a good starting QB. I HATE THIS!!!! but it is what it is.

Orton is not the answer, the season is over so PLEASE let's get EJ back in and figure out what we have as this staff is surely going to be the boot post season.

EJ is not the answer either, Never has been and never will be. I wish fans would quit supporting and wanting **** QB's to play just because we were stupid enough to trade for or draft them.

  3. Never seen such blind devotion in my life to a mediocre journeyman qb who won 3 games by the skin of his teeth as bills fans to King Orton. I hope you are all FINALLY ready to admit that he was put in by a coaching staff desperate to save their own jobs at the expense of the future growth of this franchise.

    I have...

    EJ

    RJ

    JP

    Trent

    I can go on...

BTW as bad as Orton is, EJ is worse and will never be anything more than Orton at best even with Experience.

  4. Our new owner needs to stop the constant cancer at OBD. Unless you cut the core of it out, it just keeps growing. The entire front office, coaching staff and scouting department would be gone.

You know fans have griped about no consistency, well there actually has been. Its call the ineptitude of the front office from Wilson (God rest his soul) on down. I fire brandon, Whaley, Marrone, cut players like EJ etc, and I start from scratch.

At some point you must cut out the entire infection, cancer or whatever you want to call it and start rebuilding from scratch which is something we have never done. All of the "old ways" need to be shown the door.

What did Marv say? "If you continue to do what you have always done...."

  5. What is the magical record the team needs to have before they decide to put EJ back in as the starter to see if he has progressed any during his "practice" season on the bench?

I say if we reach loss number 6 during the next 4 weeks, they put him back in for remainder of season to finally decide if he has a future with the team.

Or do they officially wait until next preseason (Sans injury)?

Fixed: Fixed the title....blame it on the damn Microsoft and auto correct addiction

Why so we can watch him continue to fail? We aren't playing for a high first rounder since our GM traded ours away.

  6. I am going on record as saying that I believe in St. Doug

This team dominated the Chiefs today. The offense moved the ball. If Bryce AND McKelvin don't fumble the Bills win. It's that simple.

The halftime adjustments were also on point. 1st two drives went right down the field.

Play calls? They were good overall. If they work they are great and if not they should have done the other thing. Wasn't everyone whining that they ran too much before?

Bottom line? St. Doug will get the job done here. This team is well prepared and plays hard. Leodis and Bryce did what they are known for: fumble.

Win Thursday and they are 6-4. That's right in the thick of the playoff hunt.

If you are already chalking up losses then you have already given up anyway.

St. Doug is too hardheaded and stubborn to fail.

    \

!@#$ Doug. He can't find a Franchise QB and that is THE thing we need. Hell we are going to sit here and have him force EJ's sorry ass down our throats which further shows he isn't the answer

  7. Is there any question our 3rd overall pick deserves a massive contract? 10 sacks through 9 games for a DT!! Wow. I'm pressed to name a better DT in the entire NFL.

Spare me the off field crap. Lock him up Doug!

He won't re sign here. Why would he? he isn't a Buffalo Native and he has seen this team be **** ever since he was drafted. If anything the effort yesterday by the D vs the **** on O would have me running for the biggest FA payday. There is no reason if you are one of the best to keep playing on a team of futility.

  8. If we lose the next two, our season is over before December.

I think we need to win all 4 of the next games to have a shot at playoffs.

I've said before, I don't expect us to beat NE, GB or Denver so these 4 (or atleast 3 out of 4) are crucial.

I agree we must have the next 4, but I disagree about Denver and GB. With our pass rush I think we can beat Denver. Get in Mannings face and he just can't get rid of the ball like he used to. GB hasn't impressed me this year.

  9. 1) They're not going to catch the Patriots. Well, not unless both Brady and Gronkowski go down to injury.

    2) The Fish look to be impressive, just crushing SD.

    3) The Browns and Steelers keep on winning.

Could it have gotten any worse for the Bills this week? Sheesh.

    1) Then take out Brady and Gronk. Look screw the BS, injure both of them. Its time to take back the division

    2) Who gives a ****? We monkey stomped them at home. They can't match up with us and I saw we sweep Miami this year.

    3) We will beat the Browns at home, Steelers... Ben is on fire, but that OL cant match up with our DL.

Bottom line, Brady needs to be rushed, and you have to play press coverage on his guys. I keep seeing (including us) NOT Rushing Brady and NOT pressing Gronk off the Line.

  10. Considering he has one month with the team, beat the Lions, made all the throws, made some great adjustments ,is still a little rusty, why do you feel that Kyle Orton is NOT the long term answer in Buffalo? Just curious...

Isn't it necessary for Kyle Orton to look really bad for an extended period BEFORE we write him off ??

Yes,yes, we need to see more but why rule him out now ? I see lots of threads that say he is a short term fix AND we need to draft another quarterback........Why ?

What's in Kyle Ortons game makes him a short term fix only ?

Its very possible that he could be Buffalo's QB for the next 5 or 6 years .

We may be rebuilding this team by then....... :flirt:

    --

I can't see why not. We don't need a media star like most markets, we need a winning QB. I think he can be that.

  12. Telling quote for me:

Manuel added: "People may see what he is doing on the field right now but they don't see his approach. The way he speaks to the offensive coordinator (Nathaniel Hackett), the way he talks to everybody in the quarterback room, the way he talks to all of the offensive players. He lets you know what he expects. No, he demands it. It has become a collective thing. Kyle will go through all of the plays with the coaches during the week and be very clear about 'I like that' or 'I don't like that.' I'm watching. I'm learning. Every practice. Every play in every game. I'm always prepared if my number is called. But I am definitely learning how to do some things by watching him.''

Says to me that EJ has/had a few things to learn about what it takes to make it in the NFL. I'm not saying this to knock him; he's a good kid and a hard worker. I'm merely saying that EJ may not have learned this type of thing without a veteran who knows what it takes to be successful in the NFL and is willing to lead by example. Whether or not that ever helps EJ on the field, who knows?

"I knew I had to play well,'' Orton said. "I had to play smart. I don't know everything, but I've been around. When you are a young quarterback, it's all big. You think you know how to prepare, but you really don't know how to prepare. I'm excited about where we are going.'

Again its being missed, I dont' give a damn how good a kid EJ is, I don't care how much he wants to learn, how hard he works bottom line....he will never have it! Christ folks, the kids brain just can not process info fast enough and it NEVER has. The knocks on him coming out of HS And College is he cant' read a defense, slow eyes, etc. Great kid, love how hard he WANTS to be a QB, but want isn't going to get it done. My fear is we spend 2 years making the playoffs with Orton then waste 5 more showing EJ doesn't have it even after sitting for 2 years.

Cut bait with EJ this offseason, admit and realize it was a bad draft choice and move on

Wow, Kirby Jackson! 4-5 years? I love how Orton has played for us, and if he continues to have this type of success I'm sure the Bills will keep him. I just don't see him being here that long.

Eventually the Bills will want to go with Manuel again.

Which will show further how inept this front office is. Park the Ego, admit the mistake, cut him and move on
