  1. They really don’t play the same role. McKenzie running very different routes last week than Beasley. He had the speed to run those drag routes in man situations. I think their usage over the rest of the season and playoffs will be dependent on matchups. McKenzie was matched up 1:1 with a backup CB who belichick never adjusted to give him help. Beasley consistently goes against the top slot corners.
  2. JSN does that to everyone but tough matchup for a kid not at his natural position. It seemed like Clark Phillips was matched up on him quite a bit though as well. He won some of those, he’s awesome. Ohio state was missing 24 players last night from this season’s team with the combination of injuries, opt outs and portal jumpers. Outside of the playoffs, bowl season is usually more of a glimpse into next year. How about the walk on Qb for your Utes who just starts throwing dimes out of nowhere? That game had everything.
  3. Thanks - we have no defense either. Hoping our new DC makes some big changes. We need players too - gotta hit the portal. Will be interesting to see the preseason rankings for the Big Ten…
  4. JSN is a ***** legend. I can’t wait until we have a defense! Knowles starts tomorrow! 🏆
  5. So odd, he called his last time out with :36 so he either had to throw one pass and kick or just kick. Probably trying to avoid the turnover
  6. Harrison is 18 years old. I think this is the first game he’s played meaningful snaps.
  7. Yeah Phillips was committed to ohio state and flipped to Utah. Salt in the wound today!
  8. One more quarter of this ***** defense 🙄 It’s just a bunch of guys running around with no idea what they are doing. Their 3 starting LBs currently consist of a RB, a TE, and shockingly, an actual LB
  9. Welp. Notre Dame getting beat by an OSU in the Fiesta Bowl. I've seen this before, I think. so Coan is gone next year, right? Who is the 2022 QB for ND?
  10. I really like Ankou. Butler is useless
  11. Star isn’t even on the injury report. Probably Oliver insurance (or butler inactive)
  12. I really don’t know what to expect. I’m excited to see what should be a glimpse of the 2022 offense (minus Ruckert, thanks for playing today dude!) the defense, good or bad today, will be kind of meaningless to me. I don’t think when they take the field vs ND in September that it will look anything like it does today. I hope for a decent performance, but with all the injuries a and opt outs (Haskell Garrett is perhaps the most significant opt out given the gap between him and the depth behind him) I’m not that optimistic on what it will look like. i think the Bucks can win! Excited to soak in one more game before the long wait until September.
  13. Someday. But if Matthew slater goes in before him, we riot.
  14. Of course not, because he said what everyone else on earth wanted to say!
