Literally not one person has said Drew shouldn’t have the right to say what he said.  Millions have said that the players shouldn’t have the right to protest, though.

lol, no everyone is just blasting him all over the internet and unfollowing him. His own teammates. Ill leave the second part alone as ive already stated the issue on that a couple times now.

First off, it's apparently not true that people know why Kaep and others were kneeling and its meaning.  People continue to associate it with disrespecting the military.

Second off, I "get it" that you feel the national anthem and flag should be off limits, but that's the very point of the protest - to viscerally make the point that the guys kneeling feel they don't, in fact, have "liberty and justice for all" in this country.  If they knelt at some other point, it would not draw as much attention or have as much impact.

Yes they associate it with disrespecting the flag because of when its occurring, not just because they took a knee. And you second point there kinda points to the fact that they were trying to disrespect the flag? I do remember Kap making some comments that he cant stand for a flag that stands for him having no rights. By definition that would be purposely disrespecting the flag and people would have the right to then associate just the kneeling part with disrespecting the flag. I see past the bs and see the cause. We need to put more emphasis on that.

Flags aside, i think everyone can agree there are issues to be sorted out. 1 cop killing 1 black man is not that issue. The deaths across the board are the issue, and i wish i would see more of these protests everytime a black man is killed. Everytime a white man is killed. Everytime anyone is killed. The violence needs to stop. Gangs need to stop. Meaningless killings need to stop. I hope a day will come where people are not looked at as color and just as people. It takes everyone to forget color not just cops/whites. Lets just all come together and march saying i don't see color. Then anyone against that protest you could then call a racist.

The US Mint doesn’t employ the people who are killing unarmed citizens, so kneeling during the coin flip doesn’t make a lot of sense.

Then deal with the divide. Not sure how else to put it.

The fact that anyone still believes the silent NFL player protests during the anthem were about the flag or the military just saddens me.

That was never the point. Everyone knows why they are kneeling and its meaning. Some just took offense that they chose to do it in a time that most Americans take pride in which is our flag. Do the kneel at the coin flip, or at kick off or any other time during the game. The national anthem should have been off limits. Players should have noticed and made this adjustment. Good Message, just bad delivery.

poor combine.  slow 40.  DL dont need a fast 40, IMo.

Its more his 10yard split time teams were concerned about which relates to explosiveness off the line. But thats not his game. He reminds me more of an old school DE. 6-5 275lbs that uses strength and pass rush moves to get to QB. Execs are so in love with the quick first step guys that can fly in off the edge, but what you miss with a lot of those guys (that Epenesa will bring) is run stopping ability and containment on the edge. For a guy that timed so slow I cant seem to remember any coach trying to attack his side thinking the rb could just run right past him. The guy is a monster and swallowed teams up all year. And from what all his coaches are saying, hes still pretty raw and is only going to get better with more playing time and NFL coaching. Go Bills!

Jackson was third in the league in passer rating. If Allen had been third, the Bills would have won the Super Bowl.  Hard to say Allen is the better passer.

The Ravens pound the ball over and over and then surprise with a play action with not enough in coverage. Jacksons rating is inflated by big plays off of that. Teams were unable to stop them from running all year and they took good advantage(Jacksons legs are amazing and open up his passing but that doesn't make him a great passer). When a team finally did stop the run and Jackson was forced to pass, he looked like a bottom of the league passer.

  6. Clemson pro day is another 2 weeks. Makes no sense to sit this 1 out. Show you are willing to go in there and compete even if you got less rest then some of the other guys(BTW LSU kicked his ass and had a ton of guys there running). If he ran bad he can say hes still training hard and will run better in 2 weeks. My guess is hes still going to run slow at pro day anyways. Unless he finds a way to sit that one out too...

I definitely think we could see a trade down, gain a 2nd or even an additional 3rd to get the best WR left at the end of the 1st. Shenault, Higgins, Mims, Jefferson etc.... get our guy and still have more than enough picks to get back up into the early 2nd and grab another top guy.

Everyone should getting over the Claypool hype... I did not see anything special from him at the Senior Bowl practices. He’s a run straight guy. His route running was sub par, predictable and jerky/slow. Most CB had no problems making plays on him on intermediate routes. Slants and go route is all he’s got.

and an uncoverable catch radius. You know that open when not open type WR we have been looking for pretty much half my life....

  8. As a life long Irish fan, Ive watched every game. Claypool was a project guy when brought in from CA. He didn't buy into immediately and was one of Kellys doghouse guys early on. The size and speed was seen immediately in spring camp. He wasnt given significant playing time until junior year where he was still just the number 2 behind Boykin, but still put up decent numbers. This last season he was the true number one and took on that leadership role everyone was waiting all this time for. He got better and better every season and even every game Senior year. I think if he had eligibility to play another season he would put up ridiculous numbers like 1500+yards and 15+TDs. He completely owned in the Camping World Bowl. Hes a guy that is going to benefit from NFL coaching and is going to get even better. 6'4 with a 40" verticle, and this guy catches everything. I said way back he was going to put up great combine numbers and kill our chances of getting later rounds. Will prob have to spend a 2nd on him to get now. Mike Evans with a little more speed and wiggle, sign me up please!

that's not an even trade off....most vets rarely play in preseason. Can't compare a preseason game to regular season

They do play in playoff games though. When's the last time you saw a whole playoff team just blow up with injuries because they played that 17th game? Sure another game does mean more risk, but isn't a dooms day change that some are trying to make it out to be.

i can barely bother to care about any game the Bills aren't playing in these days

and there you are all hopped up on the thrill of a horrible team maybe getting to the playoffs and winning it all!!!

But how are they a horrible team if they ripped through everyone in the playoffs and won the superbowl(sorry, like a true Buffalonian I love the underdog haha)!??? The winner isn't chosen at random. They have to go out and play football. If they were the best team in the playoffs they were the best team at that time period and well deserving. The regular season doesn't matter stuff is bs too because 18 other teams will still be home on the couch for the first round.

Like i said the only argument i can see that is valid is having to watch a 6-10 team get smashed first round and left thinking why the F are they even playing.
