Are we this desperate at seeking approval?

Sure looks that way. I don't come here much and when I do I don't stay long because of the absolute idiocy of posts like the one started here in this thread. I don't know what these guys are smoking but keep it away from me. I will take the good stuff though. I am no rocket scientist by any stretch but spend 5 minutes in this forum and that's all you'll need to see how stupid fans of football are. Unbelievable.

    Trade for Gordon

Sign Dez Bryant to a one year deal

Trade for Le'Veon Bell and Sign him to a 3-4 year deal at the money he wants.  It will expire before Allen needs a new deal if he ends up being legit.

You are still left with plenty of money next off-season and you won't have to give up too much in picks.

Pretty easy to fix when you're spending someone elses money.  You should be a politician !  LOL !

  3. I don't know if Tebow is a good idea or not. But, what really cracks me up on this ridiculous website is people that pile on instantly like they know what they are talking about when clearly they don't. They'll say anything to fit in. And they won't suggest a better idea because they don't know of any themselves. Terrible.

I applaud McBeane for not doing a Russ Brandon here.

Yeah, Mack is probably the best defensive player on the market, if not in the NFL. And no Mario couldn’t hold Mack’s jock.

As the 2018 Bills sit, the objective is to get better as a whole, and not buy a super expensive part that would put people in the seats and raise expectations, but won’t make a difference in the process. The timing is all wrong, and the rest of the team simply doesn’t have enough talent to win the division, let alone a championship. If we did amass some offensive talent to go with Mack, it will be towards the end of his deal. If we didn’t suffer through the Whaley/Nix years and their cap baggage, we may have had more necessary parts that may made the Mack signing something that would have made more sense now.

Right now, it just doesn’t, and it should make all of us feel confident in where we are going. I am sure they made an offer that made sense towards the process, but nowhere near as irresponsible as what used to go on at OBD, and nowhere near as money/draft killing capital as the Bears.

I could not agree more.  Raiders D sucked with him, they'll still suck without him.  This front office is too smart, thankfully; to over pay a player that wont change much of anything at all.  We are still building.  Mutiple pillars needed, not just one.  Like you said....Mario...we learned that lesson in school of hard knocks fashion.  Good post.

Maybe 10 guys who touched the field last night will make the team and as someone said, 10 may be generous. So AJ was playing with bad talent, but he should have looked a lot better than them. Instead he looked just like them.

He did not have lots of drops. He just didn’t look good. Did he maybe play himself into one more NFL roster late? Only a team in true desperate straights could believe in him.

LOL! If Josh Allen had the exact same game and engineered the come back like that you guys would all be saying he's the second coming of Joe Montana. Fact.

  6. The last time coach started a project quarterback it ended up being a 5 interception outing in the first half. I hope he's not forcing this thing. Josh really hasn't shown much other than beautifully thrown incomplete passes and one beautifully thrown touchdown. I hope Josh lighits it up and I also hope he is not carried off on a stretcher.

  7. Two good  QB's is a nice problem.  Clearly Josh has a higher ceiling.   But.....at the moment....Nathan has a better "command" of the offense. No surprise there he's got a full year under his belt.  I'd be very happy with either as the week 1 starter and I'll continue to route for both (and AJ too) because I'm a fan of the Buffalo Bills.

Rather than argue senselessly just take solace in that we are WAY better off than we were just 1 year ago at the QB position.  If the season started tomorrow I believe Peterman would be the guy despite what media is force feeding us on Josh's beautifully thrown long-ball incomplete passes. Josh will get there but to call Nathan Peterman a "Scrub" speaks volumes of certain posters on this message board.

Either QB will be fine.....and..... to be realistic we're probably a .500 team this year. (man I hope I'm wrong there)  Playing Josh and getting him injury crippled is a high rish endeavor behind what appears to be a weak O-line.  McD is too smart for that though.

After seeing the game last week, I saw enough to be VERY optimistic about 2018. I really think we have something here people! Daboll  is god, or maybe better.

Not to temper your enthusiasm but twice in history NFL teams have gone 0-16.  08 Lions and 2017 Browns.  Both teams were 4-0 in the pre-season.  I'm excited and optimistic too but be careful judging NFL teams / players based on pre-season performances.  GO BILLS !!

  9. Not a direct answer to your question but worthy of review.  The Ben Maller Program  podcast.  By far my favorite podcast.  Informative, sarcastic, funny as hell and a lot of sports info.  He does bash the Bills from time to time however.
