    He is not crappy.

I wasn’t declaring that.  I was responding to @NeverOutNick who seems to have that opinion.  Whether he’s right or wrong on the player analysis I don’t understand the thought process. “I don’t like him but if he is there in the second…….”

I like the story of Legette more than I like what I see on the field. He’s not in my top 8 WRs right now and I wouldn’t take him at 28. Round 2 sure

He’s crappy so use a second rounder on him?  We tried that with James Hardy.

It’s possible you are being sarcastic, but if not I have two questions for you.

    1. Who led the NFL in total yards last year?

    2. Who led the NFL in total TDs last year?

If those were his goals then he succeeded.

….and studying the other teams plays that blew onto the field.  😂 He just looked like he was having fun out there, when he was healthy. I hope he can get back to his old form in time. Bad breaks for the poor guy.

One of the funniest things ever on a field of play and clearly meant in good fun, not in a Pats sort of way.

Go back to arguing that aliens don't exist. You're better at that.

Obviously.  I understand my opinion about Josh’s off season work ethic is just that….opinion.  Of course the arguments are going to be stronger when they are factually based and straightforward use of logic and reason based on those documented facts.

With all due respect, your posts are always the same. Last year you had Josh as a serial killer who had a missing gf, and when it's not that, it's "he's fat and stuffs his face" all the while being miserable about his fame, celebrity gf and lifestyle. It comes off as very jealous.

You really don't have to worry about Josh's weight and ripped pants. Here is a video of him in Hawaii last week working with kids. He looks just fine as far as his shape goes, so Josh, if you are reading this, have some extra frog legs!

    With all due respect??????

Then you make up a complete lie about my posts.   All my posts are the same?  Seriously?  I’ve repeatedly said plenty of positive things about Allen.  If your really looked at “all” my posts they wouldn’t be hard to find.  Making up crap about what someone posts is not “due respect”.  It’s disingenuous.  I can’t help but think it’s deflection and a lack of ability to be introspective and set the hero worship aside.  But I might be wrong.

Yeah, being an extremely jealous hater is soooo much better than "hero worship".

I’m not jealous and I don’t hate him.  You’re using that as a straw man argument to deflect from the notion that Josh Allen could ever possibly do anything that was somehow less than perfect.  Newsflash:  We all can and we all do.  That includes Josh Allen, who I like a lot.

75% of what I wrote about Allen pointed out his positive traits.  I clearly stated that I want him to be the Bills QB.

Do I wish that he had paid more attention to football last off-season?  Yes.  Why? Because I’m a Bills fan and we were really only a few plays from a championship.  With a little more focus and preparation a lot of good things can happen in any endeavor.  They could have happened to the Bills.

Do I think him traveling the world with a Hollywood starlet and stuffing his face until his pants rip is an indication that he learned a lesson last year?  No.  Is it PROOF that he hasn’t?  No it’s not and I never said it was.

In September and through the season we’ll all learn together whether he has done what it takes to get the job done.  I hope he does.  Getting fat in March isn’t the end of the world but it also isn’t a positive thing.  Thinking and saying Allen can do no wrong and don’t look at the man behind the curtain….with the ripped pants, does not manifest itself into reality.  Reality is the only reality.

This is one of the most ridiculous takes I've ever seen. And you gathered all of that grand intelligence from one story about a split pair of pants. Is this like Will Hunting looking at a painting on the wall in his psychiatrist's office? And the locker room comment is even more outrageous when you listen to anyone and everyone in that building.  Have you every heard ANYONE talk negatively about his work ethic in regards to football? Dumb, just dumb.

You act like JA should be football 24-7-365 for his entire career without any kind of life whatsoever outside of the game. Girlfriend? Nope. Only football. Eating out? Nope. Nutritionist making every meal, even living inside your fridge to hand you that 2:00am healthy snack. Oh yeah, and football. Traveling to various places across the world, with a girlfriend, and eating out while you're there. O-M-GEEEEEEE!!!!!!! Nope, Nope and NOPE!!!! Crucify him!!!!!

Tom Brady took all kinds of trips with his family, to various places, and showed up at a lot of these same events you're talking about (yes, all before he was retired). How many rings does that guy have? Mahomes does as well. In fact there are numerous athletes all at these same events, many of them champions, and they ALL have a life outside of their respective sport. There is a reason it's called the "off season" and it's the first week of March my guy.

I'm not sure if it's jealousy, envy, or maybe you're just not happy with where you're at, or what you're able to do. Whatever it is, I hope you can get past that. Or maybe find yourself a team with a QB who walks that chalk line with no personal life whatsoever. Well wishes and happy hunting.

Great. Our QB is back at trying to eat his way out of the NFL again.

The party boy/laziness he displays in the off season and goofiness early in games might actually be a locker room issue.  Tre White busts his ass trying to get back from multiple serious injuries and gets cut.  Morse has multiple concussions and is a team leader…..bye.  I get that those things are all 100% part of the business and in no way Allen’s fault, but….

Meanwhile the QB spends last year trying to out fancy everyone at the Kentucky Derby, F1, Hollywood, a celebrity golf tourney every other day and whatnot, shows up for week 1 and turns the ball over 100 times.  Did he learn from that?   Well, he’s dining so well  in France with his Hollywood girlfriend that his pants he packed a few days ago don’t fit anymore.  Odds are he’s learned nothing.

Clearly he is among the most talented QBs in the league now and possibly ever.  He carries the team to wins on that talent at times.  His on field effort level 95+% of the time can’t be questioned, but setting a team up for a championship is a 24/7/365 thing.  Allen might just be more of a 8/5/195 effort level type.  Before anyone says I want to trade him or whatever, I don’t.  Guys like that don’t grow on trees and with his talent he might be able to win even with his subpar commitment.  If he handles things a little more professionally, he almost certainly will.  He often talks about his tremendous desire to bring a trophy to Buffalo but that appears to be talk or at least slightly below his tremendous desire for another piece of tiramisu.

This is kind of where I’m at. The beauty of an offer sheet is where you can take advantage of the current team’s cap situation. It’s what the Bears tried to do to the Bills a couple of years ago with Bates. The Bills did match but it wasn’t an easy decision.

Any offer that the Bills can make, the Patriots can EASILY match if they value the player at that level. If they let Digger walk, it’s probably because you overpaid for him. Otherwise, you’re just negotiating on their behalf.

If you like Dugger, as we know they do, go ahead an take a run at him. Be mindful though, that an early offer would tie up your cap space through the first week(ish) of FA. You’ll miss lots of other opportunities in that span. If the Pats then match, you’re left holding the bag. It doesn’t make a lot of sense unless he drags into FA for a little while and the Bills miss other targets.

This  makes sense but is overly complicated.  I have been reading on this board for years that DBs simply have no place in the great game of football and our obsession with them as a team has led to horrible thing including, but not limited to, world hunger.   Why not keep it simple and ban DBs from Buffalo rather than getting caught up in the details?

I'm reading through the thread here and getting an idea for a cool TV series..

Set when there were multiple "human like" species wandering around the Earth.  That's a weird and creepy time in the evolution of man.

With modern CGI and special effects, I bet you could get the various character to look quite convincing.

Imagine if you could go out in the woods today and find 99% human-like creatures...that weren't human!

    Weird!

Subtract 7 or 8 percent off that 99 and you’re basically talking about Canadians.

Doc.... how can you call 29-28-4 a losing record, sorry I don't agree with your  math. They are playing at .508

    Canadian math does.

    29-28-4 = 62 points

I looked it up, the Sabres are 4-0-4 in OT this year so….

Sabres opponents record is 32-25-4 = 68 points

We have earned 62 points and our opponents have earned 68.  How is that .500?

  13. 57 minutes ago, ExiledInIllinois said:

    They are 31-30 = 62 points.

    29-32 = 58 points.

As of today,  Sabres have 62 points.

Your Canadian style math assumes games are worth two points but that’s not true.  Wins are worth two points but many games carry a three point value.
