    We're running guys out of town, then we're not running guys out of town. 

    We're firing guys, then giving them their jobs back. 

    Press conferences without reporters. 

    Pilots are the only reliable sources of information. 

    Senior citizens are taking over the world and running wild in the streets. 

    JPEra is allowed to post again.

    Daimon Shelton is our MVP.

    Our almost 90 year old owner is back to being team president...big deal.

     

    Modrak who's primary responsibility is college scouting is still in charge of college scouting...whoopee.

     

    John Guy is still in charge of pro player personnel...now I'm getting excited.

     

    MM is back...no comment

     

    TC has been fired...so what. MM was calling the plays for the 2nd half of last year anyways; status quo.

     

    The only significant change is the one yet to be announced, which is Levy will be the new GM/Director of Football Operations...I love Marv, but where is his experience as a front office person and don't tell me about what he did in the CFL. That garage league is a couple of notches below division III football.

     

     

    Call me negative, but where do I find the optimism in the moves stated above?

    What coordinators are going to WANT to come here?

    This keeps getting worse the more I think about it......What coordinators are going to want to come in here and work under this guy? 

     

    Moo will probably name himself as OC.

    Don't be depressed. It's not as bad as you think... JG is not going to get a HC offer and MM is going to name himself OC because he was so successful after he took the play calling away from TC. Therefore, status quo! :huh:

    Tom Modrak

    In the press conference Ralph practically ordered Tom Modrak to be in Buffalo more next season. Although Buffalo is a nice place and has quite a nice waterfall nearby, I can't see that being much fun for someone from Jacksonville. Especially someone with health problems.

     

    Bearing in mind that he is a friend of TD. Will he resign?

    It sounds like Modrak will be primarily responsible for college scouting, but Ralph didn't go into other duties that he will be responsible for. Maybe he will have more input on pro player evaluation.

    Glad to hear that Modrak will remain the head of football operations.

    Ralph didn't say this. He said that Modrak will remain as the Assistant GM with more time spent in Buffalo. I didn't know before today that Modrak was based out of Jacksonville. They didn't really go into how much time he has spent in Buffalo over the last couple of years.
