  1. If you could pick and choose, physical and mental traits, of all the QB's in the NFL and combine them, what would they look like? Try and limit your QB to having only only trait from any other QB. Here's my Super-Q... Stature: Big Ben Pocket Presence: Aaron Rodgers Arm Strength: Matt Stafford Accuracy: Matt Ryan Scramble Ability: Cam Newton Decision Making: Tom Brady (that hurts me to say) Leadership: Peyton Manning Feel free to add or delete any of these categories while making yours. I felt these to be some of the biggest factors IMO. I chose to keep it with present players but if you want to go old school, make it worth it! Hope to see some interesting combinations. Sincerely, -Bored at Work
  2. Cool article. Thanks for posting. Agreed. Never really liked Cutler. He has always plays for better teams and as we know, brings in more credit.
  3. I'm quite sure she received it often!
  4. Some of the little arrests I always forget about. AP arrested for struggling with police, etc.
  5. I found this tremendously disturbing. All of these fabulous athletes seem to run into problems with the law. Think it's quite a fitting piece giving the recent Patriots troubles. My favorite, by far, it Marshawn Lynch. http://www.stumbleupon.com/su/1nszI4/:17urpmftf:MwE4Q89g/www.usatoday.com/media/cinematic/gallery/1751803/sports-figures-jail-mug-shots/
  6. I agree completely in regards to the families and friends. I'm referring to the Patriots
  7. I see this being our standard formation. I really don't think we need multiple formations like Chan used. Motions in and out of this formations can create great mismatches IMO. If we think we have the talent to do so, match our guys up with them and out play. Smoke and mirrors no more.
  8. I cant envision Gronk being ready. He has a history of speeding up recovery which causes a reoccurring injury. With 't something this serious, I don't think Big Bill is going to but his Million Dollar Baby on the line vs. a rebuilding franchise. Hernandez, on the other hand, can almost be slotted in as out. Whether it be incarceration or suspension, he won't be playing. The real question this topic is missing: What kind of impact will having only one, or very possibly none, of their star TE's have on the outcome of the game?
  9. THIS JUST IN: ...Hernandez will be traded to the Bengals or Raiders by morning.
  10. Gibran Hamdan looks like he might just sneak up on us this year...
  11. Kyle Williams has to be in this top five for me. His play is of immeasurable importance. Though he doesn't rack up the stats most people would like to see, Williams presence is a huge factor. He's a dominant player when he attacks gaps and often blows up O lineman disrupting plays. If he stays healthy, K. Williams will be the unsung hero of this defense.
  12. Is that normal of a rookie first rounder?
  13. Whaley seems to know what he wants and goes and gets it. I like the way the front office is coming along
  14. There is a reason the head coach makes all these decisions .No one knows better what they need, when they need it. Coordinators handle monitoring these decisions. I would be surprised if they aren't on a direct line discussing these scenarios. I see your point. But as a head coach, are you really going to put these game-changing decisions in another coaches hands? I doubt it.
  15. I remember speaking with Jim McNally about Peters some years ago. He had such high hopes about Peters and said he would be a top tackle in the league (came true). However, it really is a shame watching all these talented guys making idiotic mistakes. It drives me crazy.
  16. I cannot see one benefit. I suppose you could argue that it gets Geno ready but the destruction is causes during the game and within the locker room is crippling.
  17. If Sanchez is named the week one starter, Geno Smith may still make it into the game in certain sub packages. Is NY serious? To me, this is Tebow 2.0. They will under-mind their starter's confidence and fluency by doing this with Geno. I am clearly opposed to this but is anyone in favor? Would anyone like to see the Bills incorporate Kolb as the starter with EJ rotating in for certain packages? Food for thought on a rainy Thursday... 18. Nice. Glad he's beefing up with some cuban chicken panini's and chicken noodle
