Be it rock, country, rap or any other genre, I'm not a fan of any of it when it's contrived and neatly packaged and targeted towards the masses. Popular country music today fits this description ten fold. The fast food of music.

I don't go to games, partly because of the drunks who act like complete idiot, and partly because it's cheaper and easier (and better in my mind) to watch the games on TV in the comfort and safety of my own home. Technology has made it easy to avoid the crowd scene, which is littered with drunken morons who have no idea what is happening in the game. Disgusting behavior that somehow, they are proud of.
This I pretty much agree with.
I find tailgating to be completely overrated.
And this is borderline sacrilegeous.

That's why I stopped sitting in gen pop. The peasants are revolting - they stink on ice.
Yes, as much as you miss the genuine Ralph experience by sitting in the club seats, unfortunately part of that genuine experience these days is sitting with a ever increasing population of out of control drunk a-holes.
-
Again, do you think that there are now 15,000 less fans in the stadium have something to do with that?
Yes, I've already said that it does, but to have another 10,000 sit on their hands the whole game certainly isn't helping one bit.
-
I'd settle for him stopping make us pay for taking him 3rd.

Guys, I'm not extrapolating the club seats to the whole crowd. I fully realize the atmosphere in the regular seats is the polar opposite of what I got in the club. I'm saying that because there are such wide swaths of the stadium that are disengaged that there is no way the Ralph can ever be as loud as it once was. If some of you feel that Sunday was as loud as the Super Bowl years then you're either too young to remember or you're so old that you've forgotten. It just isn't.
-
maybe, but isn't that like playing virtual golf in the clubhouse when you're a member of oak hill? just can't understand that. what's the point of going to the game at all?
I asked that very question to many of the fans around me. Blank stares.
-
That's awesome, you should be proud of them. I'd love to do that too one day.

one game in and he is already writing negative ?
as far as crowd noise goes, there is significantly less noise than years ago. the primary reason for that is the so called "dugout" suites which took many of the very top rows of the lower bowl.
seating capacity 80,020 (original) and now 73,079 (current).
and of that current number, many more are noise insulated inside suites instead of the louder outdoor fans.
You're right, that certainly plays a big part in it.

If the good play continues, it will build. Looked pretty rockin' on the replay I watched. Beautiful day.
Yes it was, and 1/3 of the club seat holders sat inside and watched on TV.
-
The club seats are not where the hardcore fans tend to go so you cannot make a statement about the 12th man where you were.
Watch a replay on TV where they show the people not in the club seats and see if you want to make that same statement.
That's the point though, the place can never be as loud as it once was because of those apathetic fans. I don't care if the Bills have a 12-4 season, the fans in the club seats will always be mostly sitting on their hands. I'm not suggesting that they stand up the whole game and lose their voices either, but in the 4th quarter in a tight game, show some frigging enthusiasm and help out the defense. Collectively, compared to how that place used to be, the 12th man is dead.
-
This is an absolutely ridiculous comment. The Ralph was loud and it was rocking. The fans were outstanding. When EJ was waving his hands to pump up the crowd it was because he was trying to lead his team, and the fans responded loudly to his gestures with a chant of "EJ" reverberating throughout the stadium. I agree with GG's comments about the atmosphere in the stadium, it was great.
The best way to counteract the constant media negativity that permeates this franchise is to start winning. W's cure all, and until that happens you can expect more of the same.

You didn't sit where I was. The fans were sitting quietly in their seats when the defense needed them most. The place simply isn't as loud as it once was. How many false starts do you see from opposing teams compared to the old days?
-
He's right about the lack of passion in the fans. I sat in the Kelly club and 90% of the fans sat on their hands in the 4th quarter. The 12th man, for the reasons it went up on the wall in the first place, is dead.

Everyone Walt loves is killed or hurt, the money stays buried, and Walt dies from the lung cancer anyway.

Amazon Germany has 30 second samples up of the remix.

Be nice
Your fans have always been pretty good fans compared to some of the obnoxious ones so good luck.
Bills fans have absolutely no legitimate cause to be pricks to other fans. None, not with thirteen straight years of NFL irrelevance under our belts. However, if...IF the Bills ever make the playoffs again we'll take a back seat to no one in the douchey fan department.
Thanks for stopping by and I agree with almost all you've said, except the close score. I think a young Bills teams blew their load in coming up short against the Pats. Panthers by 10-14.

The reason it "smelled like gasoline and paint thinner mixed with rubbing alcohol" is because whoever made it didn't pour off the methanol that's produced early in the process. The reason you "went blind" was because you drank freakin' methanol because some asshat didn't know WTF they were doing.
Anyone can make moonshine - it's a very simple process and it's quite easy to make it VERY strong.
This. Also, sometimes the illegal moonshiners use old car radiators as condensers, which often have lead in them...boom lead poisoning.

Bar Bill, Gabriel's Gate and the most underrated Mammoser's in Hamburg. Had some there on Saturday night... big, very crispy and not overly sauced. Duff's does not make a good wing IMO.
-
Mammosers. Some the best wings in WNY.

I suppose I'll just be looking for an energetic, focused team that plays hard and smart, and doesn't give up or back down. I'll be there and cheering my ass off as always.
That about sums it up for me too. You never know, if the Bills are somehow able to knock Brady out early there will be a glimmer of hope at least.

Well. What an interesting turn of events. So thanks to my wife and her ability to haggle, I now have sunday ticket for free and they lowered our bills by 15 bucks just by asking when our contract was up and talking about our local providers.
Thanks for all the tips everyone.
Nice!

Having one of the best QB's to ever play the game allows your FO office to miss as much or more than other teams and still be successful.

I love when Walt finds out about Jesse and they show his car screaming into the car wash parking lot, he runs out of the car, and then takes a breathe to gather himself and walks in as if nothing was wrong. His mannerisms when talking to Skylar were classic!
On a serious note, I want to make my fantasy football team Breaking Bad related, my initial thoughts are:
Vamanos Pests
Tuco's Tweakers
Heisenberg's Henchmen
Crystal Blue Persuasion
Thoughts?
Los Pollos Hermanos

I'm going to have to give them a call back tonight. I tried yesterday and they tried to offer it to me for 30 with the first month free. I'm guessing I wasn't actually at customer retention.
It will probably take some work and waiting to get to a customer retention rep. I asked the first guy right away if he was with customer retention and he just said he handles all Sunday Ticket inquiries. I asked again if he is customer retention and he seemed a little annoyed and transferred me...to another regular CSR. She was nicer and put all my comments on my account and said she would get me to customer retention "right away". 25 minutes later they picked up, I stated my case again and she immediately gave it to me and asked if there was anything else I wanted. I figured that I'd go for it and ask for Center Ice for free too. She claimed that they weren't selling that package yet, but told me to call back in a couple weeks and I'd probably get that free too.
Rush to finally release remixed version of Vapor Trails

Can't listen to the stream at work, but I just got the email from Amazon that my CD has been shipped to arrive on Monday. This has been a long time coming, these songs were ruined originally by the brick walled production.
