    Damn. I can still see freckle face bringing the ball up the court, raising his finger to call the play. Those years with Bird, DJ, McCale, Ainge, Parrish, were some of the best B-Ball. Great Team, and I mean team! I rarely watch any pro-Ball anymore, its all about the slam. Though I like to watch Nash play. The outside shot is a dieing breed.

    Try another analogy. That ones weak. The foundation some of these players laid, is for a BILLION dollar industry, that's with a "B". There are Millions of Fireman in this country, and they've had retirements in place for decades and decades. Where as there are only thousands of NFL Veterans. It can be done. So try a little harder, because your analogy is BAD, STRONG BAD.
