its true that defense wins football games,but............a good offense helps the defense as well.espicially when it is a runningback.runningbacks gobble up the clock in those close games.

actually dean what you posted was very true .you do have to look at more than just "rushing yards"to evaulate a runningback.every thing you posted was true about picking up blitzes etc...i just think adrian can be the real deal.i also have nothing against turner.i just would rather draft our own runningback at#12 then give multiple picks for another runningback.go bills in"07

well i have THOUGHT ABOUT IT and i stand pat....i think adrian peterson will out rush michael turner next season.adrian will be the first runningback chosen in this years draft and rightfully so.michael turner has talent but there had to be a reason he was chosen in the fifth round.and even if i end up wrong it is just my opinion.it means nothing.that is what we all do on this board.post our opinions about what we think will happen or what players we like or dislike.go bills in"07

true ap may be gone at #12.if turner goes to the titans it may change marv's draft strategy.marv may have to decide if ap is worth moving up for,or should he stand pat at #12 and settle for marshawn lynch.i prefer to get ap,but i bet ml can have a good career too.

this is my prediction since feburary.............. we draft adrian peterson first and paul posluszny second. if adrian peterson is off the board it will be marshawn lynch first and paul second. we will trade back into the first round or the upper seconfd to get paul.the rest of our draft will be the best player available regardless of position. go bills in"07..........of course if we do trade for turner then it will be linebacker first.that last part was just added today because of all the turner trade talk.

its a perfect match only if adrian peterson is off the draft board when we pick at#12.

pyrite you make alot of sense.i think there is a good quality you overlooked about the a-train.yes he is approaching 30,but i think he has fresh legs.when he got cut from chicago he was not used very much.if our offensive line jells a bit faster than normal anthony could take less of a pounding.i am sure he will also have lots of help from whomever we draft at runningack as well.it would even be nice to see fred jackson bring something to the table and make the team.go bills in"07

thats why if we do not get a day 1 runningback i will not be heart broken.there is lots of talent this year in all rounds.i am sure we can strike gold in the later rounds.its nice that we have two 3rds this year.

yup there always is.at the very least you get to raid the practice squads of the elite teams.

assuming we traded for turner i would want our first defensive pick to be a linebacker.hell i might want our first two picks to be linebackers.then move on to cornerbacks and best available athletes left.

yeah that second round draft pick thurman thomas didn't work out all that well for the bills.he would have been the mvp for the first superbowl had we not missed that last second field goal and last i checked he is headed to canton this year.

pyrite girl,you seem to have no faith at all in the a-train.i would like to see the bills get either adrian peterson or marshawn lynch as well,but i also feel if the bills go in another direction that they would be fine with the a-train running behind our new offensive line.i am sure there is good talent in the later rounds for a runningback.i mean even the great "saviour"michael turner was drafted in the 5th round by san diego.if a-train starts a drafted runningback can be a goal line bruiser or just watch and learn.we would then have the luxury of breaking this new back in more slowly.your idea of drafting two runningbacks is not that far fetched.i feel if the bills do draft two runningbacks they would be way lower in the draft is all.if the bills take one of the elite first day picks(ap/ml)there will be no justification to draft more runningbacks.the bills are in a great position picking at#12.we can be patient and any player we take will help the team.i prefer runningback first and then linebacker.i imagine the bills could go defense first and second and then runningback and the bills would still have a great draft.go bills in"07
