Some yes, some no. Many of them i know for a fact spend way too much time in front of a screen. I do believe at this age girls mature more quickly than boys and that may account for some of this education gap

I see kids in general staying in and in front of screens more now. Maybe for girls its more in front of the laptop and for boys its the xbox. I have elementary school aged kids and live in a family oriented neighborhood. And i definitely dont see as many kids playing outside as i used to.
