I can get accepting it cause you're trying to take them out of field goal range. What I can't accept is accepting it and then literally playing a soft coverage that lets them get the yards back lol. Beyond idiotic

Here's the thing that no one is talking about.. Accept or decline? You can make an argument either way. But the most idiotic thing? You accept the penalty and then play a PREVENT defence which allows them to get the yards back and chew more clock up. If you accept it, you HAVE to be aggressive on defence and try to force a punt, not play prevent
