  1. Donte is a fine safety. But since he isn't a DT/OL or QB some here will never forgive him for being taken at #8.
  2. Yes, perhaps. McGee has never seemed like a natural star CB to me. But he is so fast and steady he really gets the job done. McKelvin has the goods to be a superstar at CB if he gets it together. I think Youboty is also a great natural athlete who learned to play CB at Ohio State like Winfield and Nate. This boy covers, tackles and is pretty fast.
  3. But once the cat was so obviously out of the bag, he looks like a complete clown by having his coaches deny or obfuscate.
  4. Actually, he might be the most consistently solid DB on the team...when he plays.
  5. An excellent point. but it isn't just the punter they look at on that play.
  6. Yes, but it hasn't flustered him. Which is a good sign. Other "blending wines" like Petite Sirah and Barbara are among my favorite reds.
  7. I don't put much stock in what coaches say in the media, but I do like to see footage of them coaching. I was quite impressed by Chan. Still, of course, the proof is in the pudding. I'll withhold final judgment until I see how he handles gameday pressure. But so far, so good.
  8. Damn you! Nothing fancy, a Lamadrid 2008. But very tasty. Argentinean Malbec is one of the better values in wine these days, IMO.
  9. Even though it was incomplete, it was what I want to see from the QB.
  10. I'm into the Malbec. Very tasty.
  11. THAT'S the pass Trent doesn't throw.
  12. So far I am impressed with his poise and presence. Reminds me of a young Trent Edwards. Seriously, I like what I see, so far.
  13. Right on the money for a 1st down.

  15. Well, seeing as how Lankster never sees playing time CB anyway, I think they'll be OK.
  16. Lankster not looking good on D.
  17. Wow, you're a couple of play ahead of me, I think. In any case, you are correct. BTW, another nice toss by Trent. Let the damn thing go and trust the WR.
  18. I'll check the replay later. Either way, great throw. EDIT: AND he escaped some pressure with his feet. Who IS this guy in the #5 uni?
  19. McKelvin is looking MUCH better this week
  20. They act like they're playing the Bills, or something.
  21. He'll need it. Even on that play he waited far too long to throw.
