Not just for hockey gold, but that gold medal breaks the record for must gold in an Olympics, that's big for Canada. Miller was fantastic the whole tourney, and that was a great game, too bad somebody has to be on the losing end. I am glad it didn't go to a shootout, the shootout should not decide a gold medal. Congrats to the USA for a great showing and a Silver medal.

Well said! I feel the same way as do many of the hockey fans I know. Contrary to popular belief, Canadian hockey fans are proud of this team already, regardless of the outcome of this game and people aren't lining up to jump off of a bridge, should we lose.

They are the most experienced officials, they will let these 2 teams play the North American style game. Would you rather a bunch of Europeans officiate the game and call penalties on every clean body-check? These guys will let the players decide the game. Not at all, it's a hockey game. We didn't even get a medal last Olympics and I don't remember a huge uproar. This time the worst we can do is silver, what's the problem? GO CANADA!
