Oh gotcha we are comparing him to Metcalf to show how slow he is .. makes perfect sense now
Metcalf is 20 pounds heavier. Bills passed on him in round 2

So you’re saying reaching 20.36 is still slow?
Yep that was his full speed. DK Metcalf is bigger and hits 22+ mph

He’s a garbage sneaky POS
It's a cut throat business. They cut players all the time. Why get mad at a player for essentially cutting the team?

Diggs wanted to win and he saw everyone else was just happy with hanging afc east banners. Most of you are going to love this team no matter what and that's your prerogative but he has no ties here and only has a few years left in his career and he wanted to win at least once and he didn't think he could do it here so best of luck to him. I hope he finds what he's looking for

the issue for me is not speed or lack of it, it is that he can’t separate and was not as productive in most games for what you want your top WR pick to be
I think that's the mistake people are making. He's not a top WR. He will be our #3 guy this year or #4 if you count Kincaid. I think his ceiling is a better Gabe Davis hopefully by next year. We still need a #1 guy

Can he play WR?

He sprinted on a drill when nobody else did. You aren't supposed to do that. If you watch the combine you can clearly see him run out of bounds when you are supposed to stay in and show you can tip toe down the sidelines.

4.51 isn’t slow. Thats what he ran on his pro day.Supposedly hand timed by a scout. I trust the combine electronic system which has all players on a level playing field.

I think a lot of people are getting upset that people don't like how slow he is. It's fine, he was successful while being slow in college and he will probably be an ok player in the NFL. The point is he had a glaring weakness vs others still available at the time he was drafted. If he was drafted in round 3 this wouldn't even be a discussion, we would be happy with the pick (most of us).
We passed on Worthy who has speed you need to plan for, McConkey who has the speed AND route running, Leggette who has the speed AND size, and AD Mitchell who has every single tool available and might have a bad attitude but please tell me which superstar WR is pleasant. Coleman might end up being an upgrade over Gabe but there were other options available so it's a head scratcher.

Half of these draft picks might not make the team at this point

I see a lot of numbers trying to justify him being slow. It is what it is. He's slow. Hopefully he can make it up elsewhere (jump balls, catch radius, etc).

The Bills have made the post season 5 consecutive seasons.
They have won the division in now 4 consecutive years.
In that same time frame their regular season record is 58-24
Im not sure you have a full grasp on what a “losing recipe” is there, friend.
This right here is the losing recipe. You think that's something to be proud of. Hang the banner

Did they really want Bishop? They tried trading up but he's not going to admit if it was for someone else (Bullard)

Man… I watched every game of this kid’s career. He played hurt, he played sick, never said a word when he was sitting and learning behind vastly inferior players, never took a play off, was a leader in the locker room.
I know you can’t know what’s in a guys heart but I have a VERY hard time believing that he’s dropping due to heart.
Size and injury feels exceedingly more likely.
Thanks for the insight. At the end of the day we should be fielding a team of the best football players. I feel like they are putting too much thought into this. Find good football players and put them on the field.

If we are trying to be reasonable hopefully the gm/coach gets fired after missing the playoffs
They will just say it was a rebuilding year and run it back again. Josh will be in his 30's by the time they have figured out they wasted his prime

Does this remind anyone else of the last time the Bills had no WR's so they traded for Kelvin Benjamin (big, slow)? Didn't work out too well. Josh doesn't throw unless the guy is super open aka separation. It's like deja vu all over again!
