I just thought of something. If we get norv as OC maybe that will help us get Rivers at qb. Lovie as HC already has good experience coaching douchey qb's having endured all of those years with cutler. Perfect scenario!
-
Lovie as HC, norv as OC, crenelle as DC. Let's help better the unemployment rate in this country!
-
Crap coach and crap rookie qb are in our future. We are now the Cleveland browns
-
No love for Polian?

Are we watching the same game? This guy isn't any good. We have a better chance winning with a veteran qb (smith, flynn, vick, etc)
-
Let's get serious. Nobody wanted chan in '09 but that's all we could get. People didn't even want to interview with us. I have the feeling it's going to be the same deal this time around. Some no name mediocre coach. But as long as he's a nice guy it's ok I guess! Being a playoff team is overrated anyhow
-
The top coaches are going to want that Chicago job. They have a solid team. I think we have the 2nd best team of those looking but can we convince a big name coach to come here? We couldn't last time. Our team looks good on paper so I hope that the perspective coaches take that into consideration and at least give us a shot at their services

Chip Kelly! And Michael Vick and geno smith at qb and polian as GM
-
Like Mario you mean?
I'm sure the Texans aren't missing him much these days

Noooooo never

My cousin's gf's step dad said that his daughter's friend's brother-in-law saw Jon Gruden at Ted's getting a footlong with Jim Kelly and Tim Tebow and Bill Polian. It's just a rumor but BILLS ARE WINNING THE SUPERBOWL IN 2013!!!
But seriously, I don't think anybody good wants to coach or play in Buffalo on purpose. We need a total change of culture around here and I think our only chance is to get some kind of innovative college coach that nobody has heard of yet
-
Nobody good enough in this draft for people to want to trade up that badly imo. If we could get the other team's 1st and 2nd pick then sure but I just don't see anyone wanting to move up that much

JP Losman has a strong arm. Maybe we can get him back

Shoveling snow or BS? Looks like the article is referencing snow. I have a better idea. Maybe if we all go down to the stadium and instead of shoveling the snow away we bury the stadium in snow. That way we forfeit the game and get a better draft pick. But seriously, I have no interest in watching this game and I'm guessing they will have a hard time getting volunteers down there

If they get a real QB the rebuilding is over in the way we've become accustomed to it.
Truth! And a big time LB on defense to be our leader (Te'o?). We already have one of the best RB's in the league and what should be one of the best D lines in the league when healthy. A good draft this year and we could be right back in it. We are literally 2-3 players away so I don't think we need to start over and "rebuild" we just need a stud QB!

Lindell has been reliable and quite accurate so I don't know if we should blame him or the coach for not being able to hit a 52 yarder. Does he not have the leg for it? They don't even let him try from beyond 50. I've never seen this before in my life at this level. Maybe some college teams might punt or opt to go for it in those situations but most of the top college programs even have guys that can connect from that distance. Who should we blame for this? The kicker with the weak but accurate leg, or the coach that won't give him a shot?

i would be an upgrade to fitz. i can complete a pass longer than 10 yards. i do it all of the time in my backyard. put me in coach!!!
-
kelsay is terrible. he never keeps contain. he plays hard but he over runs a lot of plays rather than staying home. i won't miss him

They better get a contract done now or this guy is gone. Some team is going to pay him big bucks
-
I'm a die-hard fan but I probably won't watch the rest of the season if they lose to Jax. My heart can only take so much. I'm probably going to die young thanks to this team
-
I don't care what our record is at this point, as long as we destroy the Jets in the final game and then they fire Rex immediately after. 5-11 baby!!!!
-
I think it's possible but we will probably lose one of those games at the end just like we did in Tennessee

As already mentioned, this is terrible news. You don't want business men running your football side of things. Their goal is to make the team more PROFITABLE, not win games. You can be a bad team and still turn a nice profit by cutting costs and with some innovative marketing (ie, more games in Toronto or god forbid Europe). This is bad news IMO. As fans we just want a good team
