  1. As already mentioned, this is terrible news. You don't want business men running your football side of things. Their goal is to make the team more PROFITABLE, not win games. You can be a bad team and still turn a nice profit by cutting costs and with some innovative marketing (ie, more games in Toronto or god forbid Europe). This is bad news IMO. As fans we just want a good team

  2. Let's get serious. Nobody wanted chan in '09 but that's all we could get. People didn't even want to interview with us. I have the feeling it's going to be the same deal this time around. Some no name mediocre coach. But as long as he's a nice guy it's ok I guess! Being a playoff team is overrated anyhow

  3. The top coaches are going to want that Chicago job. They have a solid team. I think we have the 2nd best team of those looking but can we convince a big name coach to come here? We couldn't last time. Our team looks good on paper so I hope that the perspective coaches take that into consideration and at least give us a shot at their services

  4. My cousin's gf's step dad said that his daughter's friend's brother-in-law saw Jon Gruden at Ted's getting a footlong with Jim Kelly and Tim Tebow and Bill Polian. It's just a rumor but BILLS ARE WINNING THE SUPERBOWL IN 2013!!!

But seriously, I don't think anybody good wants to coach or play in Buffalo on purpose. We need a total change of culture around here and I think our only chance is to get some kind of innovative college coach that nobody has heard of yet

Shoveling snow or BS? Looks like the article is referencing snow. I have a better idea. Maybe if we all go down to the stadium and instead of shoveling the snow away we bury the stadium in snow. That way we forfeit the game and get a better draft pick. But seriously, I have no interest in watching this game and I'm guessing they will have a hard time getting volunteers down there

  6. If they get a real QB the rebuilding is over in the way we've become accustomed to it.

Truth! And a big time LB on defense to be our leader (Te'o?). We already have one of the best RB's in the league and what should be one of the best D lines in the league when healthy. A good draft this year and we could be right back in it. We are literally 2-3 players away so I don't think we need to start over and "rebuild" we just need a stud QB!

  7. Lindell has been reliable and quite accurate so I don't know if we should blame him or the coach for not being able to hit a 52 yarder. Does he not have the leg for it? They don't even let him try from beyond 50. I've never seen this before in my life at this level. Maybe some college teams might punt or opt to go for it in those situations but most of the top college programs even have guys that can connect from that distance. Who should we blame for this? The kicker with the weak but accurate leg, or the coach that won't give him a shot?
