Sex, money, or power is usually all it takes to turn someone. Very sad indeed what has happened in just my lifetime from where it was when I was a kid to now is almost too sad to even think about. Really praying for something like that for the Catholic Church or if not Catholicism then at least something that brings everyone closer to Jesus. Matt Walsh falls into the category of blind believers. That's what got Jesus crucified unfortunately. It's ok to have faith but you can also think for yourself and have conviction in your own beliefs and interpretation (which is ironically what his show is usually about when not talking religion). I'm not going to blindly worship some false idol in a pope mobile. He's human and he's flawed (I'll stick with JC). I just pray he does his sincere best with the position he finds himself in.

If that were true we wouldn't have the list of atrocities from the Vatican throughout history. At some point the Vatican became something else political and not the Church. I'm not a historian to know exactly when but that's how I feel. I believe in the apostle's creed and recite it every night. I just don't maintain that a powerful human run organization is in lock step with the will of God the Father. If Satan is among us that is the first place he would attack (there is a bunch of closed churches around me that say that's true). Not everyone there is on the side of Good so hopefully we got one of the good guys!

God gave people free will. I'm not sure why anyone would believe a bunch of human priests with an agenda would be "the will of God." How arrogant. Humans are flawed. We can only hope they did their best and chose who they thought was the right person for the job not because of any politics or agenda but because he was truly the best and the holiest among them. I don't have high hopes but we'll see. The Vatican has routinely been one of the most corrupt establishments in the history of the world. Humans messed it up because we are a bunch of sinners. Whoever they say is in charge is not in charge of me. I go through Jesus Christ. John 11:25. I'd like to see the verse that says we need to go through a human pope if we want to be closer to God. This person now has a lot of power so we can only hope he uses it for Good and helps bring more people to Christ. At the end of the day that's what it should all be about.

Yep this guy is woke. Is that good? Whatever brings people to the Church. There's nothing wrong with wanting to help migrants. He should push the leaders to help them as best as they can. Here's how: 1. LEGAL migration 2. Deport all migrant CRIMINALS 3. Go after the gangs and cartels 4. Secure the border to end smuggling of humans and drugs
