  1. Terry vs the NFL:
  2. we tried that with McCoy and he used us to drive up his price with Denver. coaches don't look fondly at a situation like ours with no QB and our best player is a 30+ yr old RB. we won't get the cream of the crop here. we go for the 2nd tier coaches and overpay
  3. just checking in to see if we signed Cousins yet. 12 first round picks and a $150 million contract is all it will take. a contract like that for a very mediocre player would absolutely destroy this franchise. there's a reason why Washington hasn't signed him long term
  4. he will be a HC or retire. he's paid his dues as a OC for too long to step back down imo i highly doubt that would happen but if for some reason it did i doubt he would pick Buffalo. he would be the most sought after OC in the league this is probably true. they will give Dennison 1 more shot with a real QB. he will use Tyrod as a scapegoat to save his own job. then once we are bad again with ____________ then he will be out of excuses
  5. when business decisions trump football decisions. Brady is a cash cow for Kraft and he is going to ride that wave as long as possible. this will of course mean the end for Belichick with no plan B for the post Tommy era. i would expect them to draft a QB this year in possibly the 1st or 2nd round and they do have ammo to trade up if a QB drops which would show just how desperate Billy B is
  6. good coach, too bad they missed their window to get it done in Az
  7. As for the drops, he seems to be getting out physicalled out there. he needs to hit the weight room in the offseason. it's a big step from a small college program to the NFL. he might not have been prepared physically for the challenge. hit the weights, become more physical, get a better QB and then lets see where he's at I must have missed this great pro bowl season that Sammy Watkins never had. the 4th overall pick in the draft better make multiple pro bowls and yet here we are
  8. if you have Tom Brady throwing you the ball then even Chris Hogan looks like a pro bowler. if you have Tyrod throwing you the ball then good luck. in the NFL you never get wide open so you need a QB that can fit it into those tiny windows when you do get a little separation. hard to evaluate a WR when you don't have a QB that can get them the ball.
  9. right away as in year 1. they had Goff on the bench for a few games and people were freaking out and they had to play him. you can't have a QB sitting on the bench and developing. they need to play. drafting a later round guy in hopes he will develop does not work and nobody does that. they are either good right away or they flame out and the main reason is because you can't carry a guy that can't play on your roster, there's not enough spots. if they see they stink right off the bat then they are quick to cut them loose (Cardale). which is really too bad because at 21-23 yrs old who can really say they were the best versions of themselves at that point in their lives? if the Bills get a veteran starter or stick with Tyrod and then also draft a QB, how much longer do you think Peterman has? no time to develop. you either do well right off the bat when you get your shot or you are on your way out of the league. it happens that fast
  10. who is our QB?
  11. The Bills need a QB? This is groundbreaking stuff. Tell me more
  12. Jerry Hughes more trouble than he's worth when he's not sacking the QB. I could see them moving on from him but man we would REALLY have zero pass rush at that point. No Dareus, no Hughes, no Kyle. Our defense would be gutted at that point
  13. Define "a while." All of them started year 1. Nobody sits anymore, especially high draft picks. You can't justify some no name QB from the 4th round sitting on your roster and developing for a few years like they should. They can either can play right away or they are gone pretty quickly. All the more reason to have a developmental league imo. I would definitely take a shot on these types of guys if I could send them off to the minor leagues and see if they turn into something. They aren't going to develop with limited reps in practice and not playing in the games
  14. ?? All of them did so thank you for proving my point
  15. Most 1st round QB's play right away these days. There's only so many roster spots available. Teams don't have room for project players. When was the last time a team drafted and developed a QB? Jimmy G is the only one I can think of and he's not even on the team that developed him anymore. When you are a team like the Pats you can develop someone. Other teams don't have that luxury. Rosen is a day 1 NFL starter. We need someone like that. Otherwise plan B is get a veteran QB and maybe then once that position is solidified you have an opportunity to develop a young guy. We need a QB now so if you are investing heavily at the position it needs to be someone who can play and make an impact right away
  16. He will fall from 1 to 1. Best pocket passer in many years. Reminds me of Eli so Giants wouldn't miss a beat if they decided to move on and trade up. Could be a draft and trade situation from Cleveland. Rosen would be smart to refuse to sign with Cleveland but they could draft him and then auction him off to the highest bidder if NY refuses to pay their high asking price for trade up from 2 to 1.
  17. Check the playoff scenario generator link in the first post if you don't believe me Titans beat the Jags and they are in and Ravens beat Cinci they are in. We aren't winning today so if you are factoring that in then you will have a sad christmas
  18. Titans have to beat the Jags to get in. They could win or lose this week and assuming we lose to NE it won't matter for them as long as they win next week. If they beat them then we are fighting it out with Ravens or Chargers for the last spot. If Ravens beat Cinci they are in. So basically if Ravens or Titans lose next week that opens the door for either us or Chargers. So we want Chargers to lose today so then it's just us who can sneak in! You are right, Jags won't have anything to play for, but they would probably want to win to keep a division rival out. Having played them twice and destroying them the first time, the Titans have the most knowledge about how to beat them. Also, Marrone doesn't seem like the type of coach that would rest players. Jags should be favored in that one so that is probably our best chance to sneak in
  19. Titans game tomorrow has absolutely nothing to do with our playoff chances. Only relevant game tomorrow is the Chargers at Jets. Chargers need to lose either tomorrow or next week. Jets at home could give them a good game. Then Raiders the following week is a good rivalry game. So I would expect them to lose 1 of those 2. Hopefully it's tomorrow so we have a better idea of what we need in week 17. At that point all we will need is 1 win (Dolphins our best chance obviously) and either Ravens or Titans to lose in week 17. Titans will be the underdogs vs Jags and Ravens vs Cinci is a toss up, flip a coin type game imo. So I like our chances. There is a very realistic path to the playoffs. We just need to do our part and have a little luck along the way
  20. i'll give them $5 and a tuna fish sandwich. thurs night football is booooring and the players hate it too
  21. boring. put all of your money into bitcoins
  22. Are you Kelly Pickler? I'm a big fan. Instead of PMing Don why don't you PM me for a good time ;-)
  23. that would have been the right thing to do imo. let's say Brady defies the odds and has a good season next year as a 41 yr old. how much longer could he possibly play at that level? maybe a couple of yrs tops. Jimmy G is only 26. pairing him with a bunch of 1st round picks from trading Brady would have kept the Pats at the top. but this way it's more fun for us watching Brady wash out and the Pats having no plan B
  24. stay tuned for the #1 best seller THE JIMMY G METHOD coming soon!!!
  25. watching Jimmy G rise to power while Brady declines and washes out would be a dream come true. Brady hasn't played very well in the last 3 games and meanwhile Jimmy has. let's keep this trending in the right direction on sunday
