  1. Yet another [citation needed.] And yes, our defense looked great this year when half of them bought what Mario was selling.
  2. Something that affected the team....like a malcontent? Do you believe that malcontents can negatively impact the rest of the team's play?
  3. It wasn't evasive. I asked you nicely to answer, and I told you it'd be relevant. No reason to spend all this time talking past each other with clear philosophical difference. Not always handled by the commissioner. Manziel was handled by his coach. The Bickering Bills were all handed fines by Marv directly. Dez has been yanked by his coach mid game for tantruming on the sidelines. Coughlin was rightly chastised for not yanking OBJ during his tantrum. Coaches have played a role in player discipline for both on the field and off the field behavior at all levels since, well, as long as I can remember Does it keep you up at night knowing that Dougie will have gotten us our highest record for at least the next two years? That makes it what, the best record in 13 years. Not too shabby.
  4. You said he had no detriment on the team. I extended that to off the field. Do you think that's invalid? Kraig Urbik is not that talented. See, if you had answered my question and said, "No, the talented player should always play ahead of a lesser player unless he's not playing better than the other guy," we could've skipped the last 2 pages of back and forth. Next time, answering the question will be easier.
  5. Yes. Stars get more rope. Is it fair? Maybe not. That's just reality.
  6. Conduct detrimental to the team is exclusive to on the field play? News to me. And Pac Man. And Greg Hardy. And Ray Rice. And Ray Lewis. And Randy Moss. And.. And.. And.. Marrone did a lot of weird stuff pal. I'm not gonna try to psychoanalyze the guy based on a 10 second clip. Maybe he was defensive because Kraig was acting a POS whiner, and bitching constantly, and acting like a total douche, and Marrone wasn't pleased with it.
  7. Kelly. 6-2 QB Jim Kelly on his way to a division title is not Kraig Urbik. Let's be better than that, together. [Citation Needed] This is what I'm saying GG. You don't even know what happened. If Urbik had said, "Hey coach, I think I'm better than Erik Pears and I should start at G" and this all went down, sure. But I think it was more than that. And we don't know.
  8. I think a HC absolutely has grounds to punish a malcontent on the team. To let them "get away" with it opens up the possibility of a fractured locker room. See Mario and Rex.
  9. Well I won't to pretend to know how many reps he was losing or the circumstances surrounding it, or have the complete story. But yes. I'd say DM had some grounds to punish Urbik for being a selfish ass, and to the extent he did may have been a mistake. But I don't think it was some random grudge.
  10. Link? Because nothing you've provided has stated the "why" Urbik was benched for an inferior player. And until you can prove the "why," you can't prove it was Marrone holding a grudge or whatever other story you've concocted. We know there was friction. From what I have heard, Urbik was sulking and IIRC throwing a hissy fit over losing reps. Not being benched. Losing some reps. You're saying they "disagreed" and Marrone held some personal vendetta, without evidence. Both or neither could be true. Why you'd take such a hard and fast stance on something you have no idea about is beyond me. Even your contention that Urbik shouldn't have been benched that long, is something that I can understand, and admit that perhaps DM went too far trying to be a hard ass. But to pretend we know for sure it was DM being a thin-skinned hack and it was no big deal what Urbik did is ludicrous, because we don't know what Urbik did. Period. What argument did I originally have with GG, and what argument did I move the goalposts to? And let me apologize in advance for ruining a thread where jilted lovers repeat the same jokes that were funny back in 2013 over and over. Such great value lost to the world! Such a worthy discussion was taking place. 3rd and 1, PUNT! Hysterical. LOL.
  11. See here's the difference. GG and KtD, while both misinformed in this argument, at least are taking a stand. What do you do? Snipe from the peanut gallery? Your post is worth less than nothing. I remember a similar post of yours claiming that anyone who thought Rex Ryan's 2015 D would be bad "don't know anything about football." That was at least something of a stand, albeit a terrible one.
  12. Is there any (non-violent, non-criminal) reason an NFL head coach should ever bench a superior talent for a lesser one?
  13. You should be a politician. Your evasion tactics are boring.
  14. Chris Williams played the first 3 games I believe.
  15. Until you answer my question, I'm not going to bother. I'll even make it easier on you. Is there any (non-violent, non-criminal) reason an NFL head coach should ever bench a superior talent for a lesser one, besides being a thin-skinned demon from Syracuse obviously? I was using Rex as a hypothetical, but you were refusing to play along.
  16. And not a single shred of proof towards that. Answer my question please. This will go on forever if you just repeat things you have no proof of in order to, for lack of a better word, "write" the truth.
  17. Again, your only proof of a "hissy fit" is that Urbik didn't play. It will be relevant, I promise. Answer it.
  18. I must've missed that in your other nonsense.
  19. Talk about circular logic. You're better than that. The proof that Urbik was benched because of a hissy fit is because Urbik was benched because of a hissy fit. Let's backtrack. Do you believe that Rex should have benched Mario? I meant your "Doug Whaley was bullied by meanie head Doug Marrone!" nonsense.
  20. If you repeat something long enough, maybe it will become true.
  21. Okay. By that logic, Rex benching Mario, despite wide open evidence that the guys replacing him were worse players at their position, would've also been a hissy fit? Sure thing.
