  1. Is that why we had to sign Shady to a long-term extension with tons of guaranteed money?
  2. Yes I said rule, as in trend. Which you know.
  3. Okay John. I see you're going the childish route. I won't both discussing this with you any more. Rob Ryan objectively has been a worse DC than Jim Schwartz. The evidence speaks for itself. It's not over. Still plenty of time for the Bills to make a positive move or two.
  4. You seem to be a glutton for punishment. Let's hear it. I eagerly await to contrast your opinion on what can do Robbie to help this defense with your long-documented opinion that any failures on the field fall mostly on the players. And I do mean eagerly. I don't pull the covers over my eyes.
  5. I am operating under the assumption his role as assistant HC/defense means he will have an impact on implementing defensive schemes and gameplans. So basically assistant DC. I can't imagine his role will be anything less. Like?
  6. 20 or higher is bad. Like fireable bad. Pick whatever parameter you want. Go ahead. Look at these and tell me they were comparable in success. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/coaches/RyanRo0.htm http://www.pro-football-reference.com/coaches/SchwJi0.htm Schwartz years average defense (16th) or better. 7/15 years in the NFL. Robbie years average defense (16th) or better. 3/12 years in the NFL. With Rob Ryan, the rule is your defense isn't just not going to be good, it's gonna to SUCK. It's sucked 9 seasons he's been a DC. He's only had an above average defense 3 times in his whole freaking career! What is the difference between no sustained success and sucking? Yep. I used that this time. By any parameter, Rob Ryan has been bad, and worse than Schwartz.
  7. Wrong, Schwartz had a better track record. A defense ~20 or higher 7/14 years in the NFL as a DC or HC. Tell me what is the difference between no sustained success and sucking? Blaine Gabbert has had no sustained success. And he sucks.
  8. What is the difference between "no sustained success" and sucking? A defense ~20th or higher 9/11 years as DC isn't sucking?
  9. Rob Ryan has been a DC for 11 of his 17 years in the NFL. Saying he's simply a positional coach is just not true.
  10. You realize that you have kinda defeated your own argument. Rex wouldn't survive in the NFL if he was a moron and sucked, but Rob Ryan has survived in the NFL and he's a moron and sucks.
  11. As far as I'm concerned, you're an autonomous, sentient being capable of making your own decisions.
  12. Good lord that one was really bad. Didn't they lose because they ended up only getting 3? Anyway, difference of opinion, but I think you have to do something. The HC position in the NFL is tenuous enough without abiding open rebellion and disregard to your authority.
  13. I think you need to relax man. It's just a football team.
  14. How many personal fouls has SJ13 had since? SJ13 could've had 6 pass break ups and 3 INT's! Damnit Chan!
  15. If only SJ13 was out there! He could've scored 4 TD's for the W! Or made a sick one handed catch down 40 points!
  16. I had forgotten that. Okay, both guys suck. Benching players for being !@#$s is the right move in my book, even if it's not a cure-all. I'm out.
  17. I mean, Chan was garbage, but the move was still the right one. Did the lockerroom mutiny on him or Rex?
  18. You cannot keep the season ticket holders down!
  19. You monster. You won't get away with this. Down with the Rexourgeois! The Shwartzletariat will rise!
  20. You exploited the loophole in my evil conspiracy and then called me out?
  21. Bro, take a step back and realize you're complaining there isn't an "I don't know" option on a football message board poll, and that you're insinuating I have a conspiracy to divide folks into pro and anti Rob Ryan categories. Here's a novel idea. If you don't have an opinion or don't care, don't vote and then just post that you don't know. Oh no! The flaw in my master plan!
  22. If this isn't worthy of discussion, I don't know what is.
  23. How much do you think Whaley is sweating knowing he's tied to Rex?
  24. No. Because some things are more important than talent. But I know you disagree.
  25. You do realize you don't have to waste your time discussing it, right? We have Rob Ryan's career as information. And what a career it has been. What would you like to discuss? Let me know what's worthy.
