  1. ----------------------------------------------------- I BIG NO to Michael Floyd in round 1. Huge yes to either Stephen Hill or Alshon Jeffery if one of them is there for our second pick.
  2. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If they can't get Kalil anyone except an offensive tackle. After Kalil there isn't an offensive tackle without a huge weakness. That's why draftniks are saying an offensive tackle at pick 10 is a huge reach. None of the tackles except Kalil warrant being picked that high. Buffalo has blown so many first picks in the past they might as well screw up another one. Anyone of those tackles is probably no better than the guy they didn't re-sign, Demetrius Bell. LOL Buffalo is just a farm team for the rest of the NFL, especially Philly. Buffalo loves to develop left tackles for the Eagles.. LOL Peters and now Bell.
  3. Cordy Glenn isn't even rated very high. If Buffalo doesn't take him he will still be available in the 2nd round. He's not 1st round material. Analysts say he won't make it as a left tackle and will have to move to guard or right tackle. If you draft this clown and move him to guard, why wouldn't you just draft Dave DeCastro who draftniks are saying is the best guard prospect in 10 years. They think DeCastro will be a perennial pro bowler in the NFL. But with Buffalo's reputation of BLOWN 1st round picks, I wouldn't doubt those numbnuts draft Glenn. The entire front office and their scouts should all be fired. They are about as usefull as two teats on bull.
  4. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ With the 3rd pick in the draft if the Vikings didn't make a selection I think the entire front office would be FIRED right there on the spot. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sell the farm, farming sucks. Having kids is overated, dump the little b------ds while you can still get something for them. I'd rather have Kalil on the team.
  5. ============================================================================================================= You're right, Cleveland isn't going to give up picks to move up to get Tannehill. Why should they give up picks? If Tannehill falls to them they MAY POSSIBLY take him. But if he doesn't they have a great running back that they want just as much or more. They aren't going to throw draft picks away. I wouldn't go by anything beerballs says, he doesn't know jack _____.
  6. I didn't mean to make you cry, I was just stating facts to bring some Bills fans back down to reality. One player doesn't turn a perennial loser into a championship team. It's not basketball where a Michael Jordon can dominate another team. The Bills haven't made the playoffs this entire century. They need a LOT of help. Let's face it, the Pats are light years ahead of us, we need a lot more talent to catch them. They were one missed catch away from another ring. The Pats have been good for so long it's sickening. I can't remember when they were bad, I think the last time they were bad the NFL was still using leather helmets.
  7. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Maybe he's Ralph Wilson's grandson. LOL If so, he would start immediately. Ralph makes the decisions, that's why the Bills stink every year.
  8. =================================================================================================================== You're right, but I think you are not getting what we are saying. We would be giving our number 1 pick along with a couple of our mid rounders to switch spots. They would still have a number 1 pick just not as high. If they don't want to gain a 3 and 4 to switch spots, then you are back to where you were, no harm no foul. At ten they would still get a pretty good player, it's not like they would be going all the way down to the 20th pick. A lot has to do with how they have players rated on their board. If they are not real high on a certain player and feel there are players that will be there at 10 that they like just as much, they may want to add two more picks. If they feel uncomfortable with the players that would be there at ten they won't do it. We have no way of knowing the grades they gave to players on their board. It may or may not be possible, doesn't hurt to ask and find out.
  9. =========================================================================================== Well you have to realize the Bills fans haven't seen a decent quarterback since Jim Kelly, that was almost 20 years ago. Any quarterback that can throw a five yard completion looks like Peyton Manning to them.
  10. Yeah, but we would score everytime we got the ball. As long as the defense could hold the other team once in a while we would 3 point them to death. And maybe once in a while our offense could score a touchdown. I think if you could score everytime you get the ball you would win a lot of games, unless your defense is absolutely terrible. (Ewww, looking at the Bills defense in 2011, yeah, they are terrible. You would need an average or a little below average defense for my theory to be successful. Looks like it wouldn't work with the Bills "D". They are worse than the worst. The other team scores everytime they get the ball.
  11. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I LOVE your idea but I don't think the Vikings would give up the third over all pick in the draft without getting our 2012 1st rounder as part of the package. The offensive and defensive lines would certainly be dominant for long, long time. Adding Kalil and DeCastro to Levitre, Wood, and either (Pears or Hairston) would be sick. Even Fitz would look good behind that line. I believe the trenches are the MOST IMPORTANT part of a team. You build your lines first, I call it laying the foundation. The guys in the trenches determine how good your skill players will look. A great offensive line will make the backs and quarterback look better than they are. On the other side of the ball your defensive line determines how good your linebackers and defensive backs will look. Like they say, it all starts up FRONT. Great idea, but I don't think the trade would be possible. But man, what an offensive line the Bills would have!!! If Decastro and Kalil pan out as predicted, future pro bowlers, you would have at least 3, and maybe 4 of your lineman going to the pro bowl every year.
  12. Harry Potter?????????????? As long as that kicker had a strong enough leg that he could kick 99 yard field goals with 99.9% accuracy, I would I would sign up for that.
  13. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- See, we would all make better GMs than we currently have. Look at all these different trade scenarios the posters came up with. Imagination and a willingness to try and do something. But we all know down deep our front office is just going to stay pat with the 10th selection and pick an offensive tackle, (Reily Reiff or Jonathin Martin). Or even worse, trade down for a draft choice that isn't worth trading down for. I wouldn't go lower in the first round if I couldn't gain at least a 1st or 2nd rounder. I hope Buddy isn't dumb enough to trade down for a 3rd or 4th round pick.
  14. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ I agree with you, if the Vikings don't take Kalil and he falls to the 5th, 6th, or 7th pick, I would be on that phone working my butt off. I think you might have a shot of going from 10 to 5 for giving up our 3rd and 5th pick along with our first. If he falls to 7 the chances are real good you could get to that slot farily reasonable. I doesn't hurt to ask, the worst that could happen is they say no. If I couldn't move up to get Kalil I would try to trade down and see if I could get an additional 2nd rounder. I wouldn't trade down to gain a 4th rounder, a 3rd rounder would be the least I would take to trade down. 4th rounders are long shots to become starters, so I wouldn't trade down for a 4th rounder.
  15. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Condoms would have been a lot cheaper. If he would have broke down and bought condoms he wouldn't have to declare bankruptcy. When you let the little head do the thinking for the big head it's going to get you in trouble. My grampa told me if it has breasts or tires it's going to cost you a lot of money.
  16. ========================================================== Did you put a band aid on it?
  17. Hey maybe we can trade Fitz for Andrew Luck! LOL You have to admit that was funny, stupid but funny. Hope I at least made you smile a little. LOL =========================================================================================== OWOOOOGA! Kidprison, you be a HOTTIE! You must be from Tennessee, you're the only TEN I see.
  18. Bottom line is the Bills have too many holes to fill to be a legitimate contender in 2012. They can't get enough players in one draft to fill all their needs. Realistically speaking, the Bills will need this year's draft and next years to fill the holes. Look for them to be a contender in 2013, if they draft well this year and next. Let's face the cold hard facts, the Pats are still going to be the class of the AFC east in 2012. The Pats will win the division in 2012 barring any major injuries. Key injuries can change things in a hurry.
  19. ======================================================================================================================== I didn't see the press coverage skills from McKelvin. I saw NO skills from McKelvin. He couldn't cover anyone even if you gave him a blanket. The guy is another blown number 1 pick by the Bills. Like that is something new. LOL McKelvin will be gone when his contract is up, you can bet on it. =========================================================================================================================== I'll give you the argument that our defensive coaches weren't very good, but they can only do so much with what they have to work with. If you have a bunch of lousy players even the best coach can't do much with them. The coach can't go out there and cover the receivers. If a guy isn't good enough to cover NFL receivers, he will get beat no matter who is standing on the side lines. Bad players are just bad players.
  20. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It would be GREAT to gain another 1st rounder next year, but I can't see a team giving up a 1st round pick just to move up to 10. You would be lucky if you gain a second rounder. And with the Bills reputation of trading, it wouldn't even be a 2nd, it would probably be a 3rd. Everyone fleeces the Bills in trades. We trade ex first rounders for 4th and 5th picks. Our front office STINKS when it comes to trading. We got garbage picks for Lynch, McGahee, Evans, Peters, etc. If the Bills would have dumped a few more games last year and finished where the Rams did, they would be on the road to success. The choices they gained from the Red Skins would allow you to really add some talent quickly. Those six wins set the Bills back a whole year in stocking talent. The Colts were smart in dumping games until the end of the year when they knew they had the Andrew Luck sweepstakes locked up. St.Louis just lucked out that Washington was willing to give away the farm to get the second best quarterback in the draft. All those draft picks should make the Rams get good in a hurry. They even got another number 1 next year out of it.
  21. --------------------------------------------------------------------- I would sign up for that in a heartbeat. But you know Minnesota isn't dumb enough to take our useless garbage to switch spots. What are they going to do with two totally useless slugs. Kelsay and McKelvin stink out loud. They are perfect examples of very poor drafting. Minnesota would probably want way more to trade down. I would sign up for our 4th and 5th picks to trade spots. Or even both of our 4th round picks, but the Vikings would probably want higher picks than that. I would NOT give up our second round to move up. I would MAYBE consider our 3rd rounder. Kalil looks like a franchise left tackle. He would improve our run game and pass protection NOTICEABLY! He would be worth trading up for if the price is reasonable. A great left tackle makes any offense a lot better. That is of course if he turns out to be as good as the analysts predict.
  22. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I think our linebackers are the weak link on the defense. That is the area we have to get lucky in the draft. Hopefully we can pick up good linebacker or preferably two. Barnett is the only linebacker we have right now that is starting material. Sheppard I think is going to be a bust. Unless he can show a HUGE improvement from last year, he will be a weakness other teams will attack. Batten, Chris White, and Moats are not starting material. They would be O.K. depth but nothing more. If we get lucky and Merriman can get healthy, he would be the answer to one linebacker spot. But getting back to 100% from an achilles injury is a long shot. He would need to be 100% to stop the run, otherwise he would just be a pass rush specialist.
  23. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mario Williams will make the Bills a lot better, but let's be realistic, not enough to over take the New England Patriots. One player can't transform one of the "joke teams" of the NFL into a contender. The Bills are very, very bad team, it's not like they already have the core nucleus and are a player or two away. The Bills have more holes than Swiss cheese. They have too many needs to become a contender in one off season. They still need a Left tackle, wide receiver, corner back, two linebackers. You can reasonably expect to fill two, or if you are really lucky, maybe three of those needs in one draft. If they have two good drafts, this year and next, they have a really good chance to be contenders in 2013. It's all up to the scouting department and the people making the picks. I hate to say it but at this point the Pats are still the class of the eastern division. Billy B. has a dynasty over there. I hate him, he is the best in the business.
  24. ------------------------------------------------------------ What about drafting DeCastro for left guard and moving Levitre to left tackle?
