The Ravens pulled out a classic Bills post season loss out of their back pocket. Arguably the better team but couldn't get out of their own way, then lost on a play which will be remembered by their own fans forever more. What would we call it if it had happened to us? The Two Point drop? (Football gods - I do not want to find out next weekend. Thanks)

"Arguably better teams" don't turn the ball over 3 times and then try to get their act together in 2nd Half and pull game out of their azz.

The arguably better team won on Sunday. Period.

Now... Don't get me wrong, I got nothing against my team NOT being the better team and winning, that was simply not the case on Sunday.

What we call it?... Like getting screwed by the Refs on a bogus holding call that whacks a very likely scoring drive.

Anyway... No team can cough the ball up 3 times while the other team doesn't and still declare they are the "arguably better team."

I know its to justify them being wrong about their pick... The things i hate?

The defensive PI gave the bills 7.  It actually put the ball at the 12.  Buffalo ran 3 times inside and scored a TD wrapping up a 70 yard drive.  How about a little defense? It's also ignoring the garbage holding penalty on the only drive buffalo punted on in the 1st half.  It's also ignoring several OPI's mark andrews committed that went uncalled.  Cry more.  If i throw up a jump ball and your guys all over him in the lead up to the jump ball... and he can't jump because of how much contact there is... then it has to be SOMETHING.  I don't think it should matter if you get your head around if you have wrapped him up the entire lead up to the catch point.

Ravens gave the game away with mistakes.  Sure the pick is a bad throw or read or both - but you still have to catch it.  They were in 2nd and 11 after Henry was stuffed (weird... because the media would say that he was getting 10 yards a clip).  Lamar fumbled because he was wrapped up by a bills player... as in he FORCED the mistake.  And Bernard made a great play.  Give the bills defense some credit for creating 3 turnovers.  If they were unstoppable they wouldn't have kicked 2 field goals.

Andrews drop lost OT. There was a minute and a half left, we hadn't really unleashed allen the entire game and buffalo had 2 timeouts.  And while it was a drop, LJ should take some blame for pump faking and throwing that ball super late - Andrews feet ended up tangled because he knew the sideline was fast approaching.  Buffalo's 2nd half approach was methodical, and they used just about 10 or 11 of the last 15 or 16 minutes.

They set up a great scenario - you need 8 points.

I can stop you and its game over.

I can stop the conversion, and then its an onside kick.  Borderline game over just because of the percentages here.

You can score 8, and you still have to give Allen the ball... with 1:33 on the clock.

Harbaugh also screwed his team.  Got greedy on the first 2pt. conversion... What was he thinking!  Chasing points, he didn't need to tie there! If he makes 20-21 then it's tied on last TD w/PAT.  Possibly OT if Bills can't walk them off.

    McD out coached Harbaugh.

I feel better about beating kc than I did the Ravens. However it's the Chiefs, and they always find a way, plus we all know if any bills players look at Mahomes the wrong way, they'll give kc an extra 15 yards automatically. Just really really hoping McDermott has a plan they don't see coming

Was it really that bad? It hit the guy right in the numbers. That's not Lamar's fault.

Or the phantom holding call on Dawkins that cost the Bills real points.

No.  But could have been a better throw. He does get paid to throw a less wobbly, tighter pitch.

Just saying... Of course needs to make do with it.  It wasn't LJ's best AND THAT'S what he's always criticized about since day #1, right?

Ravens and Lamar are way better than j gave them credit for.  Props to them.  We are lucky to escape with a win?

No luck at all. Bills were just better.

"...The play (Bernard's Peanut Punch) was part of an opportunistic day for the Bills defense, which forced three takeaways against an offense that had just 11 in the regular season."

The Bills D knew what they were doing AND how to do it!

If we play aggressive offensively just like we did last time we played them, I think we can win. We score 30, I think we beat them. If we play conservative offensively like we did tonight, then it will be a lot harder

But that conservatism melted the clock away & Harbaugh blinked first.

Why can't we give McD credit?  Because of a dropped pass?  Bills were better team. They won. KC winning games all year like the Bills just won, nobody is slamming them.

Benford was definitely on the field on the last 2 point.

I think we’re fine outside of Rapp.

    Any word on Rapp?

I feel supremely confident. I expect to win this game. I don't think I've ever had this expectation in this spot before.

    We're the best team remaining.

I did the last time Bills played in AFCchampionship game.

thankful for the win.  team should be proud and enjoy it.  i didnt have the best feeling when the game ended though.  1st half was surprisingly good,  2nd half not so much.  feels more like the Ravens lost this than the Bills won it.  especially with only getting a field goal when you're at the 2 yard line.  as many have said,  it was a head scratching decision to run out of shotgun on 3rd down and not set yourself up for an ez push for a TD on 4th that of course would have sealed the game and not left the win up to Baltimore making a huge mistake.  offense was terrible the 2nd half.  need a solid effort for all 4 quarters from both sides of the ball if this team is going to punch a ticket the the final game.

Ravens were out coached.  Plain & simple.  The better coached team won.

Harbaugh is a idiot for NOT attempting to make the game 20-21.  And guess who tipped that greedy call? Yup, Milano, who wasn't on the field for the regular season loss, or Bills would have won that game too.

Just stop... We'd crucified McD if he coached like Harbaugh did.

The better team won because they didn't turn ball over.  Plain & simple.  Ravens are good team... But they weren't the better team last night.

    Interesting tidbit...

The Ravens are the first team in NFL history to...

    rush for 175+ yards

    complete 70.0% of their passes

    average 10.00+ yards per pass

convert 70.0% of their 3rd downs have no punts or missed FG

    https://www.si.com/nfl/ravens-made-unfortunate-nfl-history-during-playoff-loss-to-bills

They were outclassed & out coached.

A better coach has at very least taking that game to OT.  All things being the same, Harbaugh should have never went for 2pts. the first time.

On to the Chiefs.  Let them say something stupid too now.
