  1. “@SalSports: Lots of rumors flying around that Barnett deal is done in #Buffalo. Have yet to get confirmation from any official source. Gotta be careful”

    Just posted on twitter fwiw

Things slowly but surely coming together for this D.

Straight up, right now, forgetting age and assuming good health for both, who do you think is a better ILB for this defense - Poz or Barnett?

  2. Guess I need to be more persistent. Last year I told them I lost my job (which was true but I was about to start one) and told them I might have to cancel due to the cost. They offered to give me a $10 discount for 6 months on my monthly rate and I took it.

This year my wife is on disability so I'll try again.

Don't accept their first offer. Haggle. Offer your own suggestions if you're not liking what you're hearing. I wasn't eligible for monthly credits above a certain amount, so I flat out had to say to the guy that some "friends" were getting $150 one time credits ans he was like no problem! Just be friendly and courteous, and be sure you're with the retention department.

  3. Thanks for the reminder! Called in, and they at first low balled me, but I haggled and ultimately ended up with the $150 credit, bringing the Sunday Ticket cost to $173.94, plus he threw in Sunday Ticket to Go (SuperFan) for free for my Ipad! Glad to have my annual call to DirecTV over with

  4. I love the internet, where anyone can say anything and never be accountable for not checking their facts

my understanding is that you will only get a refund if the game is canceled entirely. if it is postponed, and you are unable to attend on the new date, you are SOL. i've been considering getting away tickets to our first game in KC, but i'm not sure what happens if i buy the ticket from an individual seller and the game gets canceled. to my knowledge, i'd lose my money - otherwise who would i get my refund from? would love to hear otherwise though!

  5. 6) I said that I was going to focus on Bell this week and I did. I am NOT copping out, but his play does confuse me. You see, for 15 or so years we either had a very good LT (Peters briefly), or one who completely sucked. The only small exception was Jennings (when he wasn't on a gurney), and now Bell. Anyway, he is VERY agile, and this is what makes finding a top LT so difficult. He looks like his balance has improved as well. I do wish he would put on a few pounds and get stronger so he could be better on running plays. Again, his best asset is SO rare!!! This is obviously why different staffs kept him. So, maybe I am copping out because he has talent, but I cannot say that I am completely sold on him either. Time will tell.

The best thing that could happen to Bell is to make it through this season healthy. The extra experience is a given benefit, but being able to focus the entire offseason on strength, etc. would make all the difference imo for him to jump to the next level. I believe his OL coach recently said something similar.

  6. I hesitate to post this on this the day of our first victory, but please, someone explain to me how he had Poz covering Calvin Johnson in that crucial situation?! No excuse for that. None. Get him out of here. He has been obviously outclassed and over his head all season.
