yeah...until we draft a WR in Round 1 and watch you have a breakdown...
-
Woody has us taking Thurman Thomas.

It's probably for whatever they don't get with their early pick in Round one.. DT,OL...maybe Safety
But if Claytons rumor is true, I see RB's like DeAngelo Williams, Laurence Maroney and Joseph Addai sitting right around in the pick 20-32 range. They will probably be all gone by the time the Bills 2nd round pick (#42 ) comes around. After that, the pickings are slim to none.
Think for a second. Jauron and Marv are stocking a large pool of players at every position for camp competition.
At RB , you have McGahee who maybe is looking for a new contract right now. Behind him you have a 7th round pick who never saw action and can't block ( Gates ), a 5-4 midget ( Shaud Williams ) and ....and..... nothing. Remember, the Bills invited a couple UFA RB's in for a look during the last month.
Don't worry. We'll pick our DT and one more OL on Saturday. I see DT depth into Round 3 and maybe that early pick will be Bunkley.
But if we trade up into Round 1, what are we trying to beat other teams to ?
Could it be...RB ? Look at the projections. The Bears are just ahead of the Colts, Jags and Steelers, who want a RB.
Hmmm...

Preston is not at Center anymore. He's been moved to Guard. Click on the new depth chart and you'll see all the changes along the lines.

Fantastic jerseys and great childhood memories of one Guy Trottier.

That's been my mindset all along.
While anything could happen in Round 1, I keep concentrating on that 2nd Round pick for one of those top 4 Guards ( Jean-Gilles, Joseph, Lutui & Spencer ).
Select one and send Benny a Mayflower moving coupon.

Taking a rotation DT over Hawk .
Hmm.... No.

One more thing. I could see a scenerio where Ferguson might fall to #8. The odds are against it but not impossible by any stretch.

From Allen Wilson of the Buffalo News..
It should come as no surprise franchised CB Nate Clements is skipping the Bills' off-season conditioning program and was a no-show at the recent voluntary minicamp. Clements is not under contract because he has yet to sign the one-year franchise tender of $7.2 million. The team had hoped he would at least make an appearance and begin learning the defensive system being installed by new coordinator Perry Fewell. But Clements' absence may be an indication he is not happy with the franchise tag. The Bills can lift the franchise label at any time, thus making him an unrestricted free agent. They would prefer to Clements to a long-term contract, but don't expect it to happen any time soon, if it happens at all. The two sides are not close to getting a deal done. It is believed Clements has not backed down on his demand to be among the highest-paid corners in the NFL.
Wouldn't be surprised if he's traded on Saturday. Stand by.

Who thinks of these imaginary days ? Hallmark cards ?
I'm looking for Drinking Your Lunch day. Oh wait, that's everyday... .
What's funny is our admin did call in sick today. Maybe she's on an all day bender on her big day.
So what imaginary day would you like to see on your office calendar, outside of retirement day ?

Claude Wroten was busted for weed after cops pulled him over recently. He also popped at the combine, according to various reports.
After what happened to Ricky Williams, figure the odds of the Bills drafting him.
-
Since he's the GM, he should force people to call him " General ".
Then strut around the office with pearl handled revolvers and a combat helmet.
-
What a shame.
Smoke one for Ricky tonight.
-
We should just keep trading down until we have 28 picks in Rounds 5 through 7.

The NBA had a TV rating of less than 1% in Buffalo last weekend.
