Earth angel, earth angel Will you be mine? My darling dear Love you all the time I'm just a fool A fool in love with you

For the most part, I've enjoyed the first days of the games. Looking forward to Track & Field getting started. Pros: - With Peacock, you can pretty much watch any event that is currently going on through one of the many many streams on the platform. They even have an NFL RedZone equivalent called the Gold Zone. Pretty cool. - I like the varied venues spread out across the city and in the shadows of some iconic locations (Eiffel Tower, Place de la Concorde, etc.). Cons: - Please stop telling/showing us all of the "celebrities" at the games. Gymnastics feels like they are showing celebs more than the athletes sometimes. All for shots of mom & dad (especially when one is wearing a heart rate monitor), but no more celebs please. - What's with all the YELLING? Volleyball, Judo, and Fencing (the worst offender) and more...after every play/point they all have to yell and scream in such an over-the-top way. What, do they think they are OU softball players after getting walked (sorry, that one may be a bit too inside-baseball).

I get you, but if it's betweeen forcing someone to check a roller bag (and further slow down an already painful boarding process) or having someone put their smaller item under the seat, it should be a no brainer. I am also a taller guy, and what I do is as soon as we take off and the "10K feet" bell dings, I take my backpack out from under the seat and stand it up right in front of my seat. Legs go over the backpack and have the full space under the seat for my feet...until landing when the backpack goes back under.

First time watching 7-7 Rugby (or Rugby 7??). Fun, fast games that are over really quickly. Two 7-minutes halves? Love it. Also, has starting the competitions a couple of days before the official Opening Ceremonies been a thing for long? I don't recall seeing this until fairly recently.

Young enough not to care too much About the way things used to be I'm young enough to remember the future The past has no claim on me I'm old enough not to care too much About what you think of me But I'm young enough to remember the future And the way things ought to be

The commercial airline industry is hands down the worst "service industry" in the world. They don't even pretend to care anymore...it's all about the almighty $$. But most of my pet peeves are reserved for the crap my fellow passengers do, and pretty much all have been mentioned here. I'd add: people who put small carryons (shoulder bags, small backpacks, etc) in the overhead on crowded flights preventing others with roller bags from using that space. Don't be a DB, just put your small sh-t under the seat unless there is clearly room above. Seat savers on SW...but thankfully SW is doing away with their current process and changing to the normal assigned seats later this year Airlines waiting until the last possible minute to announce a delay, when anyone with half a brain and a smartphone and look on FlightAware or similar and see the inbound flight won't even land until 5 minutes before your scheduled departure The standard "15 minutes" update. For example "Folks, we are just waiting for some paperwork and then we'll be pushing back from the gate. Should be 15 minutes." 30 minutes later...

When I was a young boy My father took me into the city To see a marching band He said, "Son, when you grow up Would you be the savior of the broken The beaten and the damned?" He said, "Will you defeat them? Your demons, and all the non-believers The plans that they have made?" "Because one day, I'll leave you a phantom To lead you in the summer To join the black parade"

I turn my face to the sun Close my eyes Let my defenses down All those wounds That I can't get unwound I let my past go too fast No time to pause If I could slow it all down Like some captain Whose ship runs aground I can wait until the tide comes around

Some are born to move the world, to live their fantasies But most of us just dream about the things we'd like to be Sadder still to watch it die than never to have known it For you, the blind who once could see The bell tolls for thee The bell tolls for…

In many ways, Euphoria (HBO or Max or whatever) is the modern day Kids. Lets take every bad impulse that any teen may have ever had and have them all manifested in a small group of kids with zero competent parental figures.

You and I, we are strangers by one chromosome Slave to the hormone, body and soul In a struggle to be happy and free Swimming in a primitive sea You and I, we must dive below the surface A world of red neon and ultramarine Shining bridges on the ocean floor Reaching to the alien shore

On the edge of sleep, I was drifting for half the night Anxious and restless, pressed down by the darkness Bound up and wound up so tight (So tight) So many decisions, a million revisions Caught between darkness and light

And now, the end is near And so I face the final curtain My friend, I'll say it clear I'll state my case, of which I'm certain I've lived a life that's full I traveled each and every highway And more, much more than this I did it my way

But I would walk five hundred miles And I would walk five hundred more Just to be the man who walked a thousand Miles to fall down at your door
