McDermott is a great coach. I am so happy we have him. We are lucky. He is a born leader and he created a positive, winning culture where we used to have a clown car.
Perfect? Of course not, what coach is. He is still a young man, he can fix his blind spots and lean into his strengths.
McDermott has had seven years to "fix his blind spots". Seven years is a long-ass time in the NFL. A handful of seasons with an elite quarterback and failing to reach the Super Bowl is not indicative of a "great coach".
If he was a great coach we would have at least one Super Bowl ring and likely multiple appearances.
He's not a great coach. Not even close.

These two need to stay away from each other and stop procreating.

The players are good enough. The head coach will f up a game or two with his poor game management and dumb decisions in critical situations.

IMO a full week off given the state of play of this team, yes, was too much.
They have months on end and tons of money to travel the world, after our season ends, which as a direct result of the state of play of this team will likely be in just over five weeks from now.
Who cares what other teams do. Do you?
Otherwise, sorry that you disagree with me.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This team desperately needs a week off from football. More than any team I can remember.

The QB is an elite A5 Wagyu. The rest are frozen vegetables
The players are more than good enough. Look at the numbers and analytics. They're setting records for greatest .500 team ever.
The crappy W/L record is not on the person in charge of the roster. It's the orchestrator of said roster.

Beaner should not have a say in it. This is his basketcase of a team put together with his own hands.
The groceries are more than good enough to cook a Super Bowl caliber dinner.

Certainly not an excuse but I wouldn’t be shocked if he was coked up and maybe that’s why he waited to turn himself in. That’s pure speculations
Thank you for clarifying. The "coked up" part made it sound official.

“Smart” for the wrong reasons. Being satisfied with a coach who blows nearly every big moment in close games. We don't really know how satisfied Pegula/Beane are with McDermott and won't until the season ends is my point.

This also doesn't make sense
She told him she is going to call the police and he left the house. She then calls the police and says "My boyfriend IS choking and hitting me."
I mean, I think something happened here, but some of these statements are weird.
Yeah I noticed that too but I think what that means is that she still thought he was in the house and so she wasn't quite out of danger. She then realized that he had left while she started the call and begins to calm down "Yeah, I don't know." Maybe having regrets calling 911 (even though she absolutely should have).
At the point Von is leaving the house he already knows he's f'd.
Something tells me these two are not a match made in heaven and long for this world.
I joke around a lot but this is a serious situation because it reminds me a bit of OJ and Nicole Brown. Putting your hands on a woman is serious *****. Because it's an indicator of a situation that can escalate to unthinkable levels.I'm not a "Von-Miller-must-be-cut-immediately-because-I-hate-violence-against-women-and-this-is-about-me-and-my-feelings!" virtue signaler. It's just a very sad thing.

Good "leak" by the Bills front office. You want them to be unified going into these last five games. All of their goals are still available. Do I think it will work out? No, but from the Bills' perspective they need to keep grinding.
Smart use of media.

"Miller has a salary of $17.145 million for 2024. Currently, all of it is guaranteed for injury. Of that amount, $10.71 million is fully guaranteed. The rest of it becomes fully guaranteed in March 2024.
"Miller’s contract allows the Bills to void the guarantees if he is suspended under the Personal Conduct Policy."
Brandon Beane in light of this information...

I don’t really get how he’s cowardly. I mean I’m not saying he’s good by any means but he’s been bringing arguably too much heat on those game winning drives for the other team 😂.
is he cowardly for not going for that 4th and medium in ot? I don’t think any coach is going for that in that spot. The eagles would only be in 4 down territory until field goal range and if you hold them to a fg the next score wins
He's cowardly for kneeling the ball and depending on a 50/50 coin flip instead of his generational quarterback, an OLine playing great, the best WR this franchise has ever had.

Some of McDermott’s shortcomings are also reflective of Beane. I don’t believe this.
McDermott's cowardly tendencies when managing games is reflective of Beane? Do they share a brain or something?

You’re right genius, I’m sure he’s the type of guy that will reprimand him behind the scenes.
Beane isn't his boss but I'm sure he lets Pegula know of his shortcomings.

Deserves better?
Dude has had a top 5 D for majority of career and a top 5 WR
We have the 2nd highest winning % in all 4 major sports since 2019, behind only KC (barely)
Top 5 D that has never been able to stop a nose bleed in critical/end-of-game situations with the game on the line.
Top 5 WR - great
2nd highest winning % and a head coach incapable of leading an NFL franchise to the Super Bowl.
Yep - Allen deserves better.

So you got nothing then, other than “maybes?”
Maybe Beane sees the limitations in Josh Allen as well and tries to trade him for a package of picks to draft Caleb Williams? We don’t know that.
It’s silly.
Everything that Beane has said publicly has been in full support of McDermott and the two have worked together closely from Day Any failure of McDermott is also a reflection on Beane.lol Beane is not going to criticize and/or reprimand McDermott in public, genius.

His performance last night was breathtaking and incredible! No one else can play like he can. He is the best despite us losing. He leaves it all out on the field and makes incredible passes and runs that no one else can make. Just heartbreaking how many games we have lost that should have been wins.
Just had to say this and to vent a little after last nights heartbreaking lost.
GO JOSH and GO BILLS!!! 👍Thank you Brandon Beane for bringing us Josh Allen.
We're lucky to have him.
He deserves better.

I want to hear from the owner if my HC is costing us games.
You'll know what the owner thinks based on whether McDermott is fired or maintained after the season.

Brandon Beane does
We don't know that. Maybe he's able to recognize the same limitations in his work partner and friend that we do and can take emotions out of it.

Just now, Peter said:
As for Beane, I would not have an issue if he were to stay as GM. I think that he has done a good job for the most part.
I do wonder if Beane is more loyal to McD as opposed to the Buffalo Bills. We shall see.
Beane should be most loyal to Josh Allen.
