Are Nix & Co. losing on purpose?
Best Player Available replied to Stan da Man's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We didn't throw "everything" at the defense. We signed 2 free agent DE's (thats it), and drafted 2 corners. Other defensive draft picks were cut. One corner has beenout the whole regular season so far (Harris), and yet they keep playing Nix's other defensive draft busts (Dareus isn't included yet) on D. Or, resign slugs whose expiration date was up 3 years ago (Merriman). Or they have holdovers from previous regimes which are barely adequate at best. We got zero linebacker help. Which was a huge need. How does this end up throwing everything at the defense? We have nothing even close to the proverbial "shutdown" corner on the roster. Our safety's are somewhere between barely adequate and flat out sucking. -

McKelvin back to DB? Fred a "relief" back? Funny stuff, sometimes a good laugh makes things seem better. -
Andy Reid as Bills next head coach?

Well there you go. Outstanding tequila is needed these days. But it's 9AM where I hang my hat, so I got 3 hours before I can start. -
Andy Reid as Bills next head coach?
Best Player Available replied to superbills315's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Andy Reid is not coming to this joke of a franchise. Why do these silly threads gain traction? Reid will have his choice (if he's even available) to coach some very well run teams. Marty ball is about the best the Bills could expect. Is he 70 yet? -
Who wants to see a change?

I think you're right. That's probably the mindset and justification to just sit on their hands. -
Whose fault is it really?

Public Service Announcement from the Resident Focker

Most oncologists won't mention it. They've said "I do traditional chemo and radiation that's it". I do know OHSU in Portland Or. is involved in CLL clinical trials. Also, the hospital/clinic in Houston ( I don't have the name in front of me). Has announced a 300 BILLION dollar commitment to curing 6 types of cancer by 2020. CLL is one of them. They will do trials, and I believe they already are. The problem with CLL is having to do the homework yourself. If your up to it, try and look some alternatives up on the internet, it can't hurt. -
Forget a super bowl, the league requires thousands of hotel rooms. Many thousands more than are in Buffalo. Then you have well downtown Buffalo in February! yea, nice place. I guess there could be a ice cream social at the galleria Mall. But then what? Concerts? Huge touring acts avoid Buffalo like the plague. The reason is the economy and dwindling population. Some big rock shows cost millions to stage, and they don't do it for charity. Ticket prices. Well If true it will run you $400 for a single lower bowl ticket between the 40's to see the G-Men or Jets. How many people can pay that in Buffalo? That's what it costs when you build a kick ass stadium. Hell in Jerry World it costs $100 for an obstructed standing room ticket. This is nonsense. I've watched Buffalo decline my entire life and from a distance for 33 years. It's not happening. That's the truth.

Where are you getting treatment, and are you a candidate for clinical trials? -
Well since he mentions no names. Everyone is simply guessing. But if it is 94, and he does have a gimpy wrist, wouldn't the coach after 7 games sit him (or sit him after the "injury" occurred)? Since his play seems to be most of the time a liability for the D. Mario is known as a bull rusher? Haven't seen that much at all since he's a Bill. I know were thin right now. But what good is playing a hurt player?

Wanny [not well received in old jobs]
Best Player Available replied to PS 56's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Certainly not out of the realm of possibility. You know the players quitting on the coach thing. Problem with that theory is it started game 1. I still think Wannabe had more say in last years D then simply collecting a paycheck. The situation with him in Buffalo is terminal. Too bad no one on the staff above him doesn't realize this.
