aside from a great punter, I wasn't aware the Bills cared about ST at all since 2000
Except we have one of the best FG kickers in the league and a rookie punter who is an inside the 20 machine.
It's funny how ppl on here created the narrative that our ST is just atrocious, and I watched every play, they have made many errors , but also have some great plays and ST is a HUGE part in 1 of our 2 wins. Also a huge part in one of our losses.. it's not nearly as bad as you'll read on here but it def needs some cleaning up in certain areas .

226 passing yards 2 td. 1 int. Most importantly,a Win.

Derek Anderson and this O are going to surprise some ppl. Blessing in disguise for Allen who is too raw but will be a stud . I think Allen goes for 200. Shady/Ivory over 140 and we put up 27 points. Anderson

This was re tweeted by the Bills official Twitter . Looks like he's going to pay for that fumble . Put the reliable Hyde back there and call it a day. Had high hopes for Ray Ray as a WR though.
Edit- sorry for repost. Delete.

You know deep down he misses Buffalo and sees we have an elite defense. We can legit go 7-2 with competent QB play. The deeper the season gets , the more impact elite defenses have, and this D is phenomenal. Schedule softens up, minus NE , don't count out Buffalo just yet. We were all laughing after week 2 and they got a statement Win. Don't be surprised to see another. With Tre erasing Hilton , Luck and that run game are in for a long day 20 points Anderson, that's it.

We had no vet QB on roster and we let NP lose a game 4 us.
Fully Billsy.
It still boggles my mind Nate and only Nate was our backup. He must look really really good in practices . It's not uncommon for certain QB to look great in practice/pre season . The magnitude and stage of a live game is too much for them. What a throw and route by Zay though

Trade a 7th round pick and get him back for the remainder of the season. Why not it can’t get worse for us at QB.
Forreal.
With this D we can go 7-2 scoring 20 a game

He will probably be bad, but he can’t be worse than Peterman.

Hard to believe someone would top the EJ pick 6 to JJ Watt in Houston, but here we are...
Just bthe fact of how easy it was for them to fool him and get a pick 6 at such a crucial moment is infuriating and mind bending that Daboll would even dial that up with Peterman. I was expecting a draw or run to Shady, I would have been okay with OT . Peterman is a pick machine, I hated the call too

Oh no Daboll tries to run that type of stuff. We just always F it up or get it called back.
I've never heard so many illegal formations in a season than we have in 6 games, unacceptable. Many of them took away big yardage

Yeah I listened to it a few times now I think Jerry is just laughing at the Texans offense.
That said, i don’t think this Bills’ defense is made up of the type of guys that would revolt, but I can’t say I’d blame them if they did.
Ya I think McD has full control and the right leadership on D. They won't quit. A win @ Indy and we're 3-4 ,with 6 of 9 at home , not ideal , but we're 7-3 at home in last 10 and we have cwgat looks like a championship level defense

I don’t think Jerry is saying “we still run” I think he’s saying “they still run”.
Since Monday night wouldn’t make sense when talking about the Bills, since we weren’t playing on Monday night.
But the Texans were, and the Texans ran the same jet sweep numerous times against Cowboys.
I think Hughes was commenting on his own area of expertise, defensive play calling.
With that said, you can see the frustration in most the defense. 30 , is that Lacey, hanging his head. Edmunds hanging his head. Poyer looking angry clutching his helmet. Hyde looks disinterested. Gaines bangs the wall. This one stung and will be a gut check

I think you're right. I went off a Twitter user who had ppl agreeing with him. Hearing it back it does sound like he's referring to Hou. That little jet sweep type pass they ran on the goal line was blown up , announcer even said they ran that Sun Night vs Dallas.
Good catch

Look at how open his WRs are, he doesn't go through his reads because he doesn't have to.
His offense is incredibly designed. They're babying him along.
Our OC should be taking notes.
Exactly. He's the product of a creative, intelligent and effective scheme, specifically tailored to his strengths. System QB right now but what a helluva system. Allen has the opposite But that changes next year, because we'll need very little on D and can add high end offensive talent with our cap space and draft.

Giant shocker! ?
But Hughes said he hates the Bills because they only ran sweeps since last Monday. Follow the money, it doesn’t add up...
He may have been speaking on Houston coaching. It's a bit hard to interpret. That's not 100% that he said that exactly. If anyone can clearly decipher , please feel free

You are evidently clueless that has was just on Alabama team for one year and was coaching NFL before.
Yes , but when was his last OC job? How did that turn out for him? We thought he reinvented himself in NE and Alabama, like I said, clearly he wasn't ready to make that jump to OC, just like he wasn't in his previous OC tenures.
Who's the clueless one?!? Why the name calling too? Lil Angry there buddy?

Peterman should have never been on the depth chart to begin with. The fact that were discussing him is a huge black eye to this staff.
AJ Mccarron should have been in there for sure. He got all those first team reps only to be immediately traded. He'd be such an upgrade right now. Peterman is your CLASSIC QB who looks great in practice and pre season but cannot take the magnitude of a real ,live game. Coaches were fooled and are fools for not recognizing this , and I'm a very big McD fan, just calling a spade a spade

They played lights out most of the game.
They also allowed a 90 yard drive to tie the game. Stop that drive and the Bills likely win even with the most putrid offense Ive ever seen.
Very true. They did hold it to 3 and had a strip sack slip through Hughes hand but ya they had an opportunity to close that game out

Fire Dabol and cut pick6 asap!!
Daboll clearly wasn't ready to take the NFL leap. Try to salvage this season. We can be in every game with this D. A bold move needs to be made immediately to let the team know that this type of offensive production is unacceptable.

The refs were atrocious. Very one sided. But despite that we battled back but still fell short =\. This one really stung for me .

It's a lil hard to understand exactly what Hughes says but I think this Twitter user nailed it-
He says“defense gave y’all every chance to win this game, get 7 sacks on em and we still run the same jet sweep since Monday night, where y’all sorry ass coaches at”
Just look at how demoralized that greatD looks. 7 sacks . 2 picks . 3 FF,1 recovery. Goal line stand...This one stung. Speak up Jerry , changes need to happen on O , this defense can't just go to waste like this
Edit - it's still not completely clear , but to myself and a couple posters , it sounds like he's referring to Houston.

I mean really, the Texans only got 3 points today on drives that didn’t start DEEP in bills territory.
We also missed 2 fumbles , Hughes stripped n had ball in hand on the ground the play before the Pass Interference. They have 20 Forced Fumbles now , recovering 8 I believe. Just another phenomenal team defense. Tre Revis White is going to be a Bill a long time.
I think next year we start to truly be a force , as we'll have a great amount of resources to fix the O.

Bills might statistically have the best unit in the NFL after another tremendous game. Came in 6th in the NFL, allowed a season low 216 yards to Texans...
D just seems to keep getting better and better, even with an O who keeps them on the field a lot more than you would like.
If not they have to be top 5. They have been nothing short of tremendous since the 2nd half of the Chargers game...
They might. Easily top 5. Can't help but think AJ Mccarron would actually win a bunch with this phenomenal defense.

Very discouraging. That goal line stand was epic - such effort, wasted.
Hughes is a strip sack machine. Man , he had his one hand on the Watson fumble on their final drive , thought it was over there for a second.. very discouraging
