  1. I should be. My friend will have his cell phone with him, so I'll track them down if I can't find the spot.
  2. Actually, if I had more time to take off, I would've tried to go to the meeting. They're just never around a time that I'm up in the area. For instance, I'll be there on Friday, but this month's meeting is already over.
  3. I've been a booster for 2 years and I didn't take offense to it. I even laughed at it. I thought it was funny.
  4. I hear you. I wonder just how different things would be if Donahoe were not hired to be the Prez/GM.
  5. ..."Teflon Dork"?
  6. Year 9 of Donahoe's 3 year plan. Stay tuned.
  7. Why?
  8. I do agree with you that Mularkey has made plenty of mistakes, many of which you pointed out. Now, you mentioned that "Donahoe gave hime Evans and McGahee". Well, he also gave him Dylan McFarland, Mike Pucillo, and Mike Williams as well. How'd those moves pan out? To reiterate: NO ONE PLAYER, COACH, GM, OR OWNER IS TO BLAME!!!!!!!! Everyone can lay a claim to this.
  9. It will come back soon.
  10. No, I'm not kidding. He has contributed, to be fair, but he also has had bad drops in numerous games, NOT just the Ravens game. Again, if you read the post, I don't point the blame at one particular player or unit. Our problems are widespread and just about everyone can have their fair share of blame. Maybe Moorman might get off the hook.........maybe.
  11. Should we stick with the "yeah, we're 1-5, but we can win this week because of____" threads, Rock? Or, the oh so popular, "it's _________'s fault..." threads?
  12. Of the guys you mentioned, I'd absolutely love to see Elton Brown, Alex Barron, or Jammal Brown here, but I really don't think any of them will still be on the board when we pick. Jammal Brown may even be the first or second offensive lineman taken in the draft (Barron and J. Brown might be the top 2 OL taken). I've been watching a lot of tape on Utah and, in particular, G Chris Kemoeatu. He looks pretty good. He's got a mean streak, is strong at the point of attack, and seems to have gotten over his anger issues (so far). I think he could even still be around at the top of the third round. If so, I sure hope we get him.
  13. Mularkey has not done well so far, but to put the 1-5 start on him and to not also single out Moulds and his untimely drops (dropped 2 TDs Sunday, but all I hear his how wonderful he is for tackling Demps) or Donahoe and his piss poor decisions, for the most part, on draft day (Williams, Denney, and the low round OL taken have not panned out so far) is not fair at all. This entire team can embrace at least a portion of the 1-5 start. No one is above it all.
  14. Ooh! Ooh! Can I join? I love to watch the Bills, and this league seems a lot similar.
  15. He wasn't too impressive at CB to begin with this year. I think they'd benefit by moving him to FS now. He's a much better option there than what we have. He just looks a bit slower to react to plays now, so we should take him off the corner and put him back at FS.
  16. I'll wait until we see what we have in JP Losman before complaining too hard about that draft pick. Sure, they could end up with a top 5 pick, even THE top pick. So? We traded the pick to get back into the first round to draft Losman. If he doesn't pan out, it was a bad move.
  17. I give Moulds props for chasing down that play. Bravo! Now, that said, it's tough for me to get all misty eyed for someone who dropped 2 touchdowns and had another pass bounce OFF HIS HANDS and go for an INT.
  18. Hahahaha!!!! Maybe they'll show up with some Penn State players and really give the Boosters a Halloween horror show: clips of both offenses at work.
  19. Damn. We'll never win that Power Ranking Championship now. I was looking forward to seeing Ralph wearing that big shiny gold championship belt.
  20. Yeah, but that was yesterday. You've been around here long enough to know you can't hold the board accountable for what is posted here.
  21. Did anyone catch their performance against UNLV? It was sick. On the opening kickoff, they ran a reverse that went for a TD. Their first offensive possession lasted just one play, a TD pass. They're sick! That spread offense is really something to watch. I've seen 4 of their games this year and have taped 2 of them, just to try to catch everything. Urban Meyer has done a wonderful job of putting Utah in a position where they can compete with the other major college programs in very little time.
  22. Told ya so! I've been talking up Utah to anyone who will listen. They're a good team. Not a dominant team, but a really good one. I still don't believe Meyer is ready to leave just yet.
  23. I like this line: As if that makes it all better. So, if they make a deal with drug dealers, with the proceeds going to benefit the university's cafeterias, I guess that's not bad either. The next time someone whines about something ruining the "sanctity of the game", just refer to this crap. To me, this is worse.
  24. Thanks to a 9-3-1 week, equalling my best of the season, my overall record is now at 48-40-3.
  25. That, and the fact that he can't cover to save his life. Besides those two things, he's okay.
