President Trump's entire 2024 election campaign was built on many issues, but overall, most of them boiled down to just two words: America First.

In November, voters overwhelmingly responded to this message and delivered a resounding victory for Trump.

The legacy media, however, never understood America First, not even a little bit. It's part of the reason that they have completely lost touch with the American people. Because the media still believes in globalism and never once believed in American exceptionalism.

These facts have been highlighted throughout President Trump's immigration and deportation policies, which have been brought into sharp focus this week as the President has ordered the National Guard and the Marines into Los Angeles to quell the violent uprising taking place against ICE and law enforcement. And while Democrats and the media are trying to blame Trump for all of these problems, his approval ratings across America have never been higher.

Maybe no media headline underscores their complete disconnect with the American people -- and their total loss of trust and credibility -- than the one we saw yesterday from the ABC Los Angeles affiliate, ABC7 Eyewitness News. Check it out:

Umm ... OK. And they think this is a bad thing?

The funny part about this post from ABC7 is that it is not only disconnected from the vibe shift in America, but it is also disconnected from the article it links to. The article is not an op-ed or a commentary piece from a leftist 'journalist,' it is just a series of live updates on the ground in Los Angeles.

Military parade in DC: Here's what to know

A massive military parade in D.C. will celebrate the Army's 250th birthday on June 14, which also falls on President Donald Trump's 79th birthday.

On Memorial Day, Trump spoke about the upcoming parade, saying, "We're going to have a great time; we are going to have a great celebration."

Expect big crowds, traffic and travel disruptions, fireworks, an airshow and displays of troops and tanks rolling down D.C. streets.

What will attendees see at the Army parade in DC?

Since it was announced, the parade has grown in scope and participation.

The evening parade will involve thousands of troops marching in formation, wearing uniforms representing every U.S. conflict dating back to the Revolutionary War, which began in 1775. Each war will be represented by 60 troops in period costume, followed by 400 troops from that same unit in their modern-day battle dress uniforms.

More than 100 military vehicles are expected to be involved, including M1A2/Abrams tanks; Black Hawk, Apache and Chinook helicopters, Bradley fighting vehicles and more, according to a handout from the Army.

The parade will be followed by a parachute jump by the Army's Golden Knights, plus a concert and fireworks.

Trump is expected to speak, delivering "remarks celebrating 250 Years of the U.S. Army’s exceptional service, significant achievements, and enduring legacy," according to America250's website.

JOEL KOTKIN: What’s the matter with Los Angeles?

The riots fit a pattern a steep decline. Over the past 20 years, the LA region has lost 750,000 people under 30 – the biggest decline in youth among all large U.S. counties. Even the immigrants are leaving; between the 2010 and 2020 Censuses, the number of foreign-born residents actually dropped. Looking ahead, the state’s Department of Finance predicts no population growth and a reduction of well over a million people for L.A. County.

What went wrong? You can start with the political takeover of the city by ever more leftist leaders. Once dominated by Republicans and conservative Democrats, the city has fallen ever more into the progressive mold, genuflecting to green, gender and racial ideology, which has left LA with an awful reputation among businesses and particularly developers. Indeed despite the city’s advocacy for more housing, it is among the least proficient in building them. There have been declines in everything from manufacturing to Hollywood.

Not everything is failing. There are pockets of success, particularly in the revived aerospace industry, located south and west of the city, but also in spots such as the Asian-dominated San Gabriel Valley or a host of largely successful Latino-dominated cities to its south.

But overall Los Angeles, particularly its central core, now suffers from all the plagues associated with older cities, such as Detroit, Cleveland, Manchester or Liverpool. Far from being “the better city”, Los Angeles is now best known for riots and failing to solve a massive homeless problem, the second worst in the country, despite billions in expenditures.

None of This Is Playing Out the Way Gavin Newsom Thinks It Is.

“The reason that Newsom wasn’t going to be the nominee last year is the same one that is making him fight so hard to be the Dems’ whacko Great White Hope during the riots now: he doesn’t check off any diversity boxes for the party that’s all in on it.

Unless he’s ready to switch teams and shack up with Mayor Pete, Newsom needs some way to distinguish himself.”

Women’s sports advocate, former swimmer, and podcaster Riley Gaines graciously and classily accepted an apology from gymnast Simone Biles while warning against the fake empathy behind Biles’s and other wokies’ transgender propaganda.

“I accept Simone's apology for the personal attacks, including the ones where she body-shamed me. I know she knows what this feels like,” Gaines said on X, praising Biles' gymnastic talent. While accepting Biles' apology, however, Gaines still provided an explanation of why pro-transgender, anti-female rhetoric is inherently flawed, where Biles went wrong, and what solutions are necessary.

    Eric Adams condemns ‘unacceptable’
LA anti-ICE riots – warns similar protests
in NYC ‘would not be tolerated’

by Dorian Geiger & Caitlin McCormack

Mayor Eric Adams condemned the ongoing anti-ICE riots in Los Angeles and warned New Yorkers not to get any ideas about starting similar violent protests back home. “The escalation of protests in Los Angeles over the last couple of days is unacceptable and would not be tolerated if attempted in our city,” Adams said during a press conference Monday alongside NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch. Adams and Tisch appeared as a united front as the mayor encouraged would-be protesters to “choose peace and compassion over anger and retaliation.”

U.S. Health Secretary RFK Jr. Fires Entire CDC Vaccine Advisory Panel in Stunning “Clean Sweep”

    by Jim Hᴏft

U.S. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has abruptly dismissed all 17 members of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP)—the federal body that shapes America’s vaccine policy.

In a blistering op‑ed published Monday in The Wall Street Journal, RFK Jr. declared the panel “plagued with persistent conflicts of interest” and branding the current members as a shadowy cabal heavily influenced by pharmaceutical money. [snip] It can be recalled that the ‘unsafe and ineffective’ COVID-19 vaccine was formally added to the routine immunization schedule for both children and adolescents by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Thursday.
