  1. We got 6 tickets high up in a sideline lowerbowl section for $6 each off stubhub.

Anyone who buys the $15 kids tickets with the adults at full price is getting scammed by the Bills.

If everyone thought that lower level tickets at $15 is a scam, there would never be a sold out game.

  2. People fail to realize that even though there are two OLBs in a 3-4, they are two very different positions. Moats and Merriman play one of them, the pass rushing position. And Kelsay plays the other. Much more of a containment position. Same with the ILB in a 3-4. They are two very different positions. Barnett and Sheppard (and Torbor for that matter) all play one of them, the run to the ball carrier one. Andra Davis (and Chris White and Crowder if we still go after him) play the other one, the big thumper/take on the lead blocker position so the other guy can make.more tackles.

Moats, even on the outside, will not play along with Merriman unless he changes his game. Shep and Barnett are probably not going to be starting alongside each other, depending on how well Sheppard can shed blockers.

    Hmmmm......Thanks....learned something today.

  3. The bill I received in the mail 2 days ago just showed balance due.

I received an e-mail a few days ago that read: half of remaining balance due now, other half by Sept. 15th.

E-mail also stated that season tickets will start being shipped August 6th.

Will they really ship the tickets without full payment being made?

  4. Listen, I'm not one to sat Poz was a Pro Bowl player, but he was solid, a good leader and lockerroom guy and more specifically a guy we drafted. No matter who the coach or GM has been, out motto has been "build the team through the draft and keeping our players". Problem is....WE NEVER KEEP OUR OWN PLAYERS! Other than Kelsay, which still makes me vomit, we don't keep any of them. Makes it pretty tough to rebuild...

Yup, we've been rebuilding since '95 and we'll still be rebuilding in 2020. You'd think we'd be good at it by now.

  5. The fans are the big winners of course.... because the fans were the big concern of both sides throughout the negotiations.

Ticket prices dropped 20%, Season ticket holders no longer need to pay full price for those pre-season exhibitions, PSLs are outlawed, parking cap is $10, drinks are only $3, blackouts are lifted, you don't need to pay for the NFL channel to see Thursday night games......Honey, wake up. It's time to go to work.

  6. I hope the CBA addressed the 'If I hold out this year, as long as I show up by week 11, then it counts as a full year of obligation to my contract'.

It should be that if you miss training camp, the NFL will not approve any new contracts for that player that year.

You sign your name on the contract, you live with it. You know, like real folks.

  7. I hope that the rookie scale is nice and tight like the NBA, where players really don't need agents. You were the number 5 pick, your contract will be this much and for this long. You were the number 12 pick, your contract will be this. Not much negotiating from agents.

You don't hear from NBA Player's agents come rookie signing time and hopefully we don't see Rosenhaus on TV as the big story every year with his rookie holdouts.

  8.

BTW I was at that game. Anybody else here?

Sure, Of course! Wasn't everybody who lives within 200 miles of the stadium?

Just kidding, I was there and it's still something our family brings up now and then.

Almost left.... luckily stuck it out a few more minutes.....then couldn't leave.

Funny how we weren't as cold during the comeback.

Sad that we have to go back this far for the good memories.

  9. I'm admittedly disappointed about no blue pants, but the more I look at the all-white look I have to say it's pretty sharp. These uniforms are so "old school" and I love it.

So for road games played in the snow, we're back to QB's complaining they can't spot the receivers quick enough in the white uniforms and helmet. IIRC that was one on the reasons we went to the red helmet.
