  1. We have bigger needs then QB right now. I'm still with going D in the draft and trying to sign some good FA's.

My first thought was to agree with you. Then I think of the Colts with Manning (Strong playoff contender each year) and then 2011 Colts without Manning (absolute train wreck).

A true 'franchise' QB certainly compensates for lots of other shortcomings......just sayin

  2. I would agree that Ralph has created this culture. I would also add that this is the second time he has tried to give control to someone else to run the team. He first did it with Tom D and now with Russ B. I think we could blame Ralph for the past but this future is on Brandon...just like the Tom D years were on him. Ralph I get the impression wants to be informed, but doesn't want the headache anymore. Since Russ has taken over we have hired two football guys in Nix and Chan. Both had a reputation of winning. We add Doug as the Assistant GM and Dave W as Assistant head coach and now "D" coordinator. I think this staff looks good on paper and has the potential of turning things around. We can look at the past and learn, but our past is not our future.

    Ralph, is this you?

  3. Sunny Side is Visitors Side. Not very fun sitting around all visitor fans.

Visitor's sideline is filled with Bills staff and Bills Season Ticket Holders.

And it's the sunny side, which is much appreciated in the October, November & December games.

I even remember it being ok in January games, but that was so long ago.....

When they re-assigned season tickets back in the 90s, Ticket Office said visitors sideline filled quicker than home side.

You should be able to get 20 yard visitor side, but it may be low. Good luck!

First 18 rows are too low. You can't see the other side of the field. Nice view of the players on the sideline though.

  4. On ESPN, Chris Berman had a motorized covered wagon going in a circle with the Bills logo on it. That was the original "Nobody circles the wagons like the Buffalo Bills" game.

I'll have to check youtube for that.

Is it just me, or is it sad that all we have as bills fans is talking about a 19-year-old game?

    Thinking the same thing. :bag:

  5. I know it's piling on time and I just shook my head today when the graphic went up reminding us we are the team longest removed from the playoffs, BUT, Chan has brought us an improved offense. His plays are more exciting to watch than before. His pass patterns have been getting receivers open which is a huge improvement over past regimes. It's not run left, run right, 3-yrd pass attempt and punt.

And our O-line played better than than the last several years. (I don't know if that's Chan's playbook or our O-line coach is NFL coach of the year)

So you experts can flame away but I see Chan bringing something here and I'm OK if he stays on. Other changes need to be made obviously but until Ralph passes the team on, we settle for modest improvements.

  6. Although not considered full time employees, these guys have many hours a week dedicated to this effort.

The crew arives on Friday night at the game city. They spend that evening and Saturday reviewing tape of the 2 teams thay will see on Sunday, noting formations, shifts, special plays etc. and have a specific agenda up until game time. Then an extensive post game report is written and they are usually home late Sunday night. As one poster stated earlier they get reviewed by the NFL officiating office on each play and have phone meetings during the next couple of days.

So you are at the game city or traveling for 3 days, and 1-2 days of meetings, and physical training for the mid-week...I'd say these guys are pretty much full time.

  7. the nfl ticket exchange is 100% safe.

    How does that work.?

I've heard they charge the seller for the listing and the buyer for the purchase.

Does the seller set his own price?

Is it like an auction similar to e-bay?

Is this only for season ticket holders?

    Does anyone know details? :worthy:
