  1. Kemp & Trump. Trump's a moron listening to a former Democrat Senator?
  2. The hatred of Trump is fixed? Hadn't thought of that one. Not as nuts as he's trolling the Left, but pretty loony. I love Trump pretzel time.
  3. Unsure why it's bizarre other than it might not fit an agenda, but it might turn out to be even more interesting if they catch the guy.
  4. Note that all of the posters after me did as I said they would. Not one disputed what Trump said, in his own words. Instead they brought up nonsense that has nothing to do with the topic. Trump forces his own supporters to act like idiots. In some cases, these folks don't need to be forced.
  5. Yes. It's Gary the Conqueror. Sure looks like the title of the thread wasn't far-fetched at all, despite some of the best sphincters here dismissing the notion.
  6. Damn. I forgot about the stupidest of all; the personal insult when one can't stay on topic. Since Trump said it, does this mean that Trump is suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome?
  7. Guess it is possible, eh? At least Trump says it is, but I'm sure all of you who dismissed it know better, right? What comes next? He was kidding? It wasn't really him in the interview? Trump's brain was being manipulated by Hillary?
  8. So, it says in the Constitution that if you owe money, you can't vote? Where, exactly?
  9. I would never try to interfere with your desires. It's all yours.
  10. Are you jealous that you can't pick his ass?
  11. https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2020/07/supreme-court-florida-felons-poll-tax.amp I remember when Conservatives claimed that the Constitution rules all. Now, it's a quaint memory.
  12. Curious as to why the other pandemic's numbers are not similarly alleged, especially since diagnostics are far better, now.
  13. https://www.wwltv.com/article/news/health/coronavirus/vp-pence-says-schools-should-open-as-louisiana-schools-plan-delays/289-bd6818de-4836-4b33-b5f4-575ccae2baa8 Trump doesn't want scientific facts about the dangers of the virus to affect school openings. Amazing that anyone thinks that way, yet his followers will come up with a way to defend it, because that's what they reflexively do. Pretty wild that a game show host is part of the discussion because of Trump.
  14. True. His base is absolutely clueless as to what they bought into, although some of them understand him as a lifelong criminal. Some love him despite that. Some love him because of that. Some are just loons. When the most powerful politician in America is part criminal and part nuts, rhe effects of those in office below him are greatly lessened. I would have thought that to be common knowledge, but I always forget that some can't process information and facts.
  15. He was never able to pivot about anything before he was President. Those that expected him to change didn't know who he was.
  16. Maybe we need to review who the President is. The President, whether you think it's fair or not, used to be where the buck stopped. Now, it's more of "That guy over there screwed up. I'm perfect". Everything that proves him wrong or an idiot is to be dismissed because let's focus on other things. Seems different than how you folks interpreted Presidents when it was Obama.
  17. Fauci. He's the guy the entire administration is denouncing, now. Too bad Trump hasn't been the leading scientist throughout this, even though he claims that scientists marvel at how smart he is.
  18. What I blame Trump for is minimizing the virus and causing many of his supporters to believe it's either a hoax or no big deal. Trump has failed on the highlighted more than any office holder in the history of the country. Thanks for providing this tidbit.
  19. Saying that there is only a couple of cases and they will be gone in a couple of days is not a mistake. It was a lie. Granted, it falls within the realm of possibility that Trump was in error, because he is a moron. That he still continues pushing the idea that it will disappear by magic proves he is lying, because it's difficult to believe that anyone that can tie his own shoes could believe this. I am assuming that Trump has the ability to tie his own shoes. Candy. My wife and me had pneumonia in early February. I haven't checked the latest stats so it's possible they now are 90% effective. What gives me pause is that at least anecdotally, it's possible that being infected doesn't automatically provide immunity, a pretty scary possibility.
  20. You can't find examples of conservative media lying? You must be a great researcher. Here's just a couple of examples of lies told on Fox. Yeah, I know it's a waste of time to present facts to someone who needs to stay the course on their agenda. Tucker Carlson said "In July 2010 the government said small businesses -- 60 percent -- will lose their health care, 45 percent of big business and a large percentage of individual health." Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Nov. 19, 2013 "And finally tonight, although it pains me to say this, Jon Stewart? Comedy Central? He was right. Now on his program last night, he mentioned that we had played some incorrect video on this program last week while talking about the Republican health care rally on Capitol Hill. He was correct, we screwed up, we aired some video of a rally in September, along with a video from the actual event. It was an inadvertent mistake, but a mistake nonetheless, so Mr. Stewart. you were right, we apologize. But by the way, I wanna thank you, and all your writers, for watching." Sarah Palin, May 1, 2013 "Why do we have automatic citizenship upon birth? We're the only country in the world that has it." Glenn Beck, June 10, 2009
  21. So, Trump's policy of pitting one state against another and telling people that governors who are nicer to him should get preference in health relief is the correct way a pandemic should be handled by a country? Is Federalism a President ignoring a pandemic? If there was no travel between states, your notion might be correct, but that's not how it works. Here's your chance to explain it to me. Curious as to where it's written that health concerns fall under the purview of governors. Why not mayors? Why not police departments? Why not the ASPCA? Why not the public library? CA and WA did a better job because they faced a less lethal strain in a far less dense populace, but you already knew that.
  22. And you're totally ignoring the federal government's non-response, that continues until today.
  23. Depends on it's efficacy. I'll take the press over government 10 out of 10 times.
  24. Not saying that Cuomo didn't make mistakes. He did and then corrected them, but too late for too many. It might have helped if the federal government had taken it seriously and provided any kind of guidance instead of pretending there wasn't even a problem, even though they absolutely knew the storm was coming.
