You left out the biggest story. Trump is evil and unbelievably stupid, but he should have never been more than a 5% candidate. The fact that about 40% of Americans back him is the most frightening part of the story. I used to believe that America was better insulated than almost every other country when it came to avoiding a dictator. As a nation, we are as stupid and evil as any other nation.
