Smiley’s units were consistently underprepared. This was a move we all knew had to happen.

RIP Coach Jauron. Great player, good man. 74 is too young.

I’m not ashamed to say I love that man.
Thank you, Josh, and congratulations! You deserve all of it.

I like moves like this…always trying to bring in new voices and get better.

I dreamt about the game last night…in my dream we faked the Allen sneak on the early 4th quarter 4th down and flipped it out to Cook, who took it to the house.
Eff the Ch(r)efs.

Why does everyone hate this so much? Aside from potentially losing one home game in a season, what is the downside? The international games are fun to watch, they're on at odd times which is kind of cool...I don't get all of the hate.

I don’t dislike it at all, but I’m wondering where the athleticism in the secondary is going to come from…

MY POST from Jan 25 of last year.....
The TRUTH is that it is widely accepted around the entire NFL world that the Buffalo Bills organization and its culture is one of the best ones in the NFL, if not in ALL of pro sports in the US. Does that necessariliy translate to winning a championship? No. But the org is not some shoddy fly by night deal like you imply above. What McD and Beane have built is consdiered top tier around the league. And the idea that the Pegulas are "not in it for winning" doesnt wash, either. They invested a ton of money building what is consdered one of the best fitness centers in the NFL (https://www.buffalobills.com/news/bills-expect-world-class-sports-performance-center-to-enhance-their-game). They have laid out BIG contracts to free agents and to retain their own talent. Again...does that translate into winning? No. The Von contract is bad right now due ot his injuries. But its sure damn NOT for lack of trying. The effort to win is there. The MONEY is there.
Ok, good for you. The point remains — Brandon Beane isn’t telling you all during his end of season PC what he plans to do, and getting upset or frustrated about it is ridiculous.

"Dont tell me what to do, Jimmy."
Also, we are +3 days out from another bad playoff loss. If a "fan" is not allowed to be angry now, then when?
I’m pretty certain that last year at this exact time you were whining about Beane’s press conference just as you are today — and you had absolutely no idea what he planned to do.
That’s my point.

I AM "thrilled to support this franchise." I also do not like...AT ALL...the tone of this press conference. Two things can be true at ones. Im a fan, not a pollyanna.
At Beane's press conference last year did you expect the Bills to jettison Diggs, Morse, Poyer, Hyde, Davis, etc.?
Of course you didn't, because Beane doesn't owe anyone any insight into how he's going to tweak the roster going forward.
Lighten up.

Bunch of whiny Bs in this thread...not surprising.
Any fan would/should be thrilled to support this franchise. I'm sure all of the nostra-dumbasses telling Beane what he should do and say manage billion dollar enterprises and are at the top of their profession.
Carry on, "fans"...

Good lord. We are a dropped pass away from being inside the 20 with a chance to score a TD and win the game -- with THIS defense -- and this is what you come away with?
Massive defensive overhaul next season, get somebody with speed at WR, and we're right back there.
The only defensive players I don't part with are Rousseau, Oliver, Epenesa (I guess), Milano, Bernard, Bishop, and Benford. Everyone else is fair game.
Worse than the drought? You're smoking some good s-h-i-t.

KC has the best coaching staff in the league and an all-time great QB. It’s ok to admit that. Reid is an amazing offensive mind and Spags is an amazing defensive mind. It’s not a surprise they are so effective.
THAT SAID — it’s not as if the Bills were blown off the field. We still had the ball and a chance to win and a pass that — despite a brilliant defensive call — bounced off the hands of our TE.
I’m pretty damned happy with the state of this team and where we are headed. We had an undermanned defense being called by a first-time playcaller.

Yes! I am strangely calm and confident going into this game, but also ready to accept whatever comes.
This is our time.

Great news, and a smart move by Brady. The Saints are in a simply horrible situation right now; whoever takes that job starts out behind the eight ball.

Wow even Bart did? That guy absolutely hates the bills. Mahomes musta ignored his email or something
Or they just see what everyone is seeing (like Belichick) — the Bills are a handful this time around.

If the 3rd down run got inside the one there is no doubt we would have gone for it. This is one of those “I’m waiting for the game and have nothing to do so I’ll just start talking out my a$$” threads…

The Eagles beat the Chiefs by doing the opposite of the Bills

Everyone's got their overly simplified "explanation" for everything...the truth is that there are many factors that go into each game and (thank god) just about everything the Eagles tried last night worked.
