Watkins has such an attitude problem. I don't care if he can' t be covered and he has over 150 yds on 3 catches. He is overrated the coaches dont use him properly and if he only had a good QB, which will never happen in Buffalo, he could be average. (SARCASM!)

I heard all week how the 1-6 jets had an elite defense that would stymie the poor 4-3 Buffalo Bills because all of their RB's were broken. I heard how Geno had turned the corner and had no turnovers as the jets "almost" beat the Patriots. Good Lord, the Bills had no chance against this juggernaught, with our meager defense and our journeyman QB. On the NFL network last night they said Orton was 2-0 as a starter. It's the NFL network and they didnt even know how many games he played? I wish all of our jobs were so uncomplicated that we could just be completely inept and wrong and we would all get fresh clothes and free steaks. Anyway, I'm obviously ranting, I love this team and I Believe in it. I don't care if the national media is too busy following Brady and the Cowboys or PERCY HARVIN, But our team is legit and it is for real, and we know!

I DON'T care what anyone thinks. I love the Bills and I'm sick of hearing the "fans" hate every little bit. This is a new team. I'm not a new fan. I'm 44 years old and I've loved this team forever. I don't want to hear people say I should shut up or I'm wearing rose colored glasses. And suck it if you don't get sarcasm. Get over it and let a new season be a new season. It's not 1999 it's not any other year. It's 2014 and we won today. Our qb played well our coaches were awesome .And we have Freddie !@#$ing Jackson! So settle in and expect the team to win instead of sitting around and fretting about how they are gonna lose every game!

I hate this team. They should have lost today. They backed into their win by breaking the v Bears. We will never beat a good team. As a matter of fact, Goodell should take this win away because we don't deserve it.

All you naysayers need to find another team. This is real. SO get on board and love the team and stop waiting for "the wheels to come off, " go find another team and take your negativity with you.

HAHA! Is the OL weak? We haven't really even seen it yet. Is the OC bad? Can he have a season and a gameplan with one QB and reduced injuries?

There is a little bit of a joke to this and I am not "new" to football. The point is, Brady did have a down year, especially if you listen to the same people who pan EJ. Yes the Patriots did well. The point is you can't give a superstar on a superstar team an excuse because the people around him are new. That happened. EJ and his surrounding cast are by definition new and have gotten even more so this year. I'm tired of hearing about how terrible the Bills are gonna be. Say what you will, but, I want to see game 1. if they suck and are overmatched, it's not gonna because of EJ alone.

Last year, the conventional wisdom claimed Brady had a down year because of his inexperienced receivers. REALLY, Tom God Brady? So we have an inexperienced QB, new Coach, OC AND injuries to key players, I.e., CJ, Freddie, EJ and then Thad. Now, this year we have two new WR's, one being a rookie. I know EJ shouldn't be mentioned with Holy Brady, but If Brady struggles with new receivers, maybe we need to give our guy a chance. If it's shown that he's injury prone and can't last a season or he can't run the full offense, then fine, we need another QB. I for one want to wait until after the Chicago game until I decide the season is over and I'm gonna ignore football till next year. (Never gonna happen, by the way. Football rules) Go Bills!!!

Okay, this is awesome. I'm happy we have another QB. Maybe he will stay more than 3 days. Last time I saw him he had a huge beard and I thought he looked like JP Losman with a beard. Never seen the two together. Maybe just me.

The Bills have an embarrassment of riches on offense. We need to accept that. Our team is gonna kick some ass.

Honestly, I haven't read all the posts in this thread. However, the Bills will be much better off with Byrd and I think they know that. It won't be the end of the world if he goes, next man up, but I think he wants to be a part of this new defense.

Frank Reich is his QB coach.

I am so glad we beat the Jets last week. They are easily my least favorite team followed by the Cowboys, who I almost feel sorry for. Haha. I kind of miss the Bills/Miami rivalry of yesteryear. I guess it still exists but we have all gotten sidetracked with golden boy and Bellicheat and of course those dumb ass jets. I think with this week off and no football stress for most of us, except for fantasy, it's a good time for introspection. Lets think about why we love these Buffalo Bills. Why we love Buffalo and our families. And why we should really be encouraged for the future of our franchise. Lets all enjoy this Thanksgiving and look for our Bills to come out of the bye kicking ass and making us proud!

We all saw SU get crushed by FSU. I have to ask this question. Would that have happened if Marrone was still the coach? Yes, they must certainly would have gotten beat, but would they have gotten embarrassed? I ask this because I hear people who say Marrone shouldn't be the coach. He is in over his head, maybe Pettine should be coach, etc... Yet, right after he left a program it has dropped off the radar again. Coaching matters and Marrone is a good one. Pettine is a good one. We have good coaching. Now we have to see the players respond. We play all of the teams in our division again so we will see. It starts with the Jets and I think we can beat them. Marrone is a strength.
