He averaged 4.6 ypc and 870 rushing yards last year. He had 7 games last year with single digit attempts. He was splitting reps with Moss early on and we had terrible run blocking ahead of him….he started getting
the lions share in the last 4-5 games.
I think this year he does it. He will get the majority share of the carries and I don’t see our run blocking being as bad this year.
If they stop wasting his carries on Moss. Not saying I don't like Moss but Singletary is obviously a rhythm guy and I think he's more effective in a rhythm than he and Moss are when they split.

Poyer is awesome but I think what he would be looking for, and deserves, is too much for us at his age and the others we needto sign….I think we let him walk.
I agree with this. I don't think his age is a concern as a safety though. He's probably got another 5 years in him. He's absolutely worth the money, but maybe just not for us.

Random observations from game
- Downtown stadium is kind of cool. Area around stadium was nice, was neat at night to look up and see the tall buildings lit up next to the stadium
- There were tons of split bills/panthers couples and families
- The PA was super loud - prob the loudest i ever heard in a sports venue. Get off my lawn
- The Panther hype guy that annoyingly get on the jumbo all game and yells annoying things is annoying
- At halftime they were bringing two pop Warner teams out on the field who were going to play at halftime, and on our side was a team with Patriot helmets. Of course myself and some other Bills fans booed them. Was a little awkward when it became apparent the family of one of the players was next to us, and family of one of the cheerleaders was in front of us. Not sure if the little Mini-Cheater team won
- They did a little light show at halftime synching the stadium lights with all other lights off to the Immigrant Song and Bulls on Parade
- Going off at halftime Josh and Baker passed each other and gave each other a big smile and bro tap
- Was behind the Bills bench, I like to watch the interactions on the sidelines. At one point Josh was standing with Diggs, Knox and Davis and going over golf swing tips with them. Another time Knox was fetching water for guys sitting on the bench who just came out - went down the line 'you want one?'. Josh and Von Roten seemed to be talking a lot. Diggs was always moving and talking. One time he was zig-zagging up the sideline and Oliver saw him coming and stepped in front of him. Diggs then proceeded to 'school' Oliver and Epenesa on release moves. At one point von walked over and was shooting the sh!t with Josh and it made me think who would have thought, how cool is that scene
- Didnt look like Poyer had anything on his elbow
- At one point they put a big 'IT'S BAKER TIME' on the jumbo. My son took a picture and sent it to all his carolina buddies. Panther fans were definitely into Baker, Darnold not so much
- My son wore a Bruce Smith jersey - Bills fans just love yelling "BRRUUUCE" when they see a Bruce jersey. People we yelling it at him walking to the stadium, walking from the stadium, from patios across the street, walking by as we ate dinner...
- Panther fans were cool, not always fun to have your stadium taken over. Before the game I was half expecting to hear 'rapist-lover' or similar clever trash talk, but with the stakes so low and the fact they kicked our butt things were overall genial
My best friend is a Panthers fan and I went to a game with him in Charlotte and it was really chill. I like it.

I can deadlift heavy with no problem. So mine must be tennis elbow. Ironically enough I played tennis 2-3 days a week for 10 years but never felt any pain. It wasn't until I think I overtrained it at the gym and caused some type of permanent damage. I thought it would eventually heal but on go. Its been 2+ yrs of me not being able to do dips and pain when bench pressing and push ups. I don't experience any pain when not working out. Any suggestions? I'm going to look into the dry needle therapy.
I think if it's been over 2 years you can safely spend the money on an orthopedist. That's a really long time. It's also interesting that you're only bothered when working out.

Sir, this is a family friendly message board.I thought for sure you were gonna accuse me of being a resident TBD doctor, or telling me I should retire from lifting so I could hope to walk again and play with my kids.

Wow this is great stuff, thank you. Mine really flares up only when I do chest day at the gym. Or if I do 100+ push ups. I was a gym rat for a long time and think the overtraining got to me. Its better than it was but when I push a tennis ball into my elbow I feel pretty terrible pain. It feels like something needs to be flushed out of that joint, it just doesn't feel normal compared to the other side. I still can't even do 1 dip because the pain is so bad.
Is it tennis or golfer's elbow? I have golfer's. Mine is doing pull-ups, curls, or any back exercise. Dead lifts and shrugs are COMPLETELY out of the question. Sometimes it's so bad it radiates to my lower triceps and then I can't do those either. So I take a break from those exercises, beat the ***** out of it with a theragun (til it bruises), and wait for it to heal. That's what dry needle therapy is for. It's meant to disturb the area to make your body send blood to the tendon. There are very few blood vessels there and that's why it takes so long to heal.

I keep putting off going to get tests done, but its been long enough where it should be healed. I used to do dips all the time at the gym and I can't even do 1 rep. I used to do sets of 20 with weight added.
How long? I had mine for over a year before I went to the orthopedist who told me it would get better in time. I said, "time? IT'S BEEN A YEAR!" He just nodded and said, "yep. It takes a while. We only operate on these about 1% of the time and there has to be a full rupture and lack of stability in the joint before we even think about it." He gave me a prescription for dry needle therapy (which I never did). About 3 months later it cleared up. It still comes back once in a while though. I'm currently dealing with a flare up.

Not sure that is really fair on Herbert. And let me be clear I think Josh Allen is a better Quarterback than Justin Herbert. But Herbert's performance in clutch situations last year was absolutely there. Unfortunately for him his defense blew it on multiple occasions. It is a bit akin to blaming Josh Allen for the defeat in Kansas City.
I think a more legit criticism of Herbert is he can be kinda meh early in halves. He threw 38 touchdowns last year. 30 of them came in the 2nd and 4th quarter. It isn't that rare for a QB to score more TDs in 2nd and 4th Quarters - teams get more aggressive when the clock becomes a factor - but that differential is particularly stark. Only three 3rd Quarter touchdowns. I think Herbert has lulls in games and you can legitimately say that sometimes it give his team too much to do but in crunch time he has been pretty darn good.
Remember the Dreaded 3rd Quarter of 2020?

I was just saying this in another thread. Most of us watch these guys blabbering into the microphone and think "I could do that". Not as easy as it looks if you're trying to stay interesting. Because he wasn't.
I like your name.

I really have to be more empathetic and sensitive to the fact that not all people read this forum every day.
....but it still iritates me that the same "new" ideas pop up like once a week.

No. We cannot.

I'd have his children.
If he played in, like, San Diego, the logistics would be slightly more difficult.

I'm definitely NOT Billy Shaw. However, I've been using his photo as my avatar for so long that now when I see it, I think it's a picture of me.
Billy Shaw was special. He'd fill the OG hole in a hurry!
I mean, you'd be earning serious alumni brownie points for all the added effort.

God it's been so long now
I thought it was Billy Shaw, could have been another '60s player.. but a lot of people there swore it was the real dude
Me and a few users asked him straight up and he said it wasn't
I do know Chris Brown and some other bills players were there occasionally
He's here too. @Shaw66. Rockpile review dude. Definitely not actually Billy Shaw. Unless Billy lives in Mass and regularly drives cross state to attend games.

Yeah, it was really him... he didn't post All that much, but he did. Anyone using an actual players name had to be "certified" to post as such, same with Chris Brown for example. Sad day for sure.
Welp, you were a mod there so you'd know. That's wild.
