Sometimes It feels like organizations don't want to do their homework! Check out some years when some really good QB's were taken... -They WERE NOT plentiful, and you had to study-up on them. Rodgers - 2005 Who else was there? -Alex Smith? -That's about it... Joe Flacco - 2008 Who else was there besides him and Matt Ryan in the 1st? Ben Roethlisberger -2004 Because of his amazing NFL Pedigree, I won't count Eli Manning in this draft. -Who else is there in Rd 1? -Phil Rivers? The point is, You have to know what your'e fishing for... it may require you to cut a hole in the ice, have the right bait, and wait two hours to get the prize you want...

Who ever said it did? The only thing crippled here, are your reading comprehension skills. The Bills are in a very good spot to get some QUALITY NFL starters on both sides of the ball... I don't think we should abandon that position for a complete uncertainty at QB.

The top QB's in this draft have significant deficiencies. Some may fall. Based on that, we should Keep both first rounders, AND both seconds. Those picks may prove in the long run to be better than the kid you trade up for. In the last 5 years, 2 third round QB's from arguably the highest-touted first round QB bonanza ever, have won superbowls. This team has CLEARLY been set back by trades for players that were supposed to be the answer. (EJ, Sammy,) Another bust sets us back even longer. Get it now?

The playoff drought was broken by the law of averages, with a little help from a kind ginger knight... The Sammy trade did not in any way make this team better, as evidenced by our performance in that one playoff game. Because of the Watkins trade, there wasn't a 1st rounder in '15 to parlay with anything... Instead we got Ron Darby. It seems like we consistently pick the WRONG year to make these moves.

You want to make your point about trading up for a playoff QB.... By using a year we made the playoffs with a 6th round QB.. And by illustration of a trade for a WR that wasn't on the team for that playoff appearance.

Pretty sure I did just the opposite! Watkins wasn't a part of that playoff JOKE... -He was gone when the bills failed to control their own destiny, and rode Andy Dalton's arm to an embarrassing post- season loss... I look at it this way... Marcus Mariota was probably the best QB prospect I'd seen since Russell Willson... If we KEEP the pick we give CLE, and perhaps package it with something else in '15, there's a chance we end up with Mariota instead of Ron Darby, -Who's also no longer here... The REAL problem is this team isn't any better at scouting than the punters on this board.

No... I'd rather grab 2 stud 1st rounders on defense, (Payne and Evans) so that an experienced defensive staff can coach those picks up... I'd take my QB at 53, or 55, and still be able to score big at WR or TE at either pick... This is chance to load up... That's the opportunity I see here.
