  1. Have to root for the patriots as difficult as this may be. It's our only hope of making it out of the regular season and into the.....what's it called again, Oh yea, The playoffs!!!
  2. The LT position is one that the bills have hit and missed on for years, but as a rookie this kid is playing like a 5 year starter. You have to give credit to Nix for seeing LT talent from a guy who a lot of people felt was only a guard. I focused on him for the first half of the game last night just out of curiosity and he didn't disappoint. For a while it was said that LT was the most important position on the team and I think we have our 10-12 year guy in Glenn.
  3. Every player on our roster should have to watch those videos!!!
  4. After there were a few balls thrown his way, he started to finally look pretty good. The kickoff return helped too. I know that Easley was playing against the 2nd or even 3rd string players on defense, but still looked solid and BIG out there. Size is something we lack and he has.
  5. The Primetime game against NE when Leodis fumbled the ball on the kick off. I can't remember being more disappointed in my life! A close second was the last sniff at the playoffs when we lost to the steelers in the last game of the season. The steelers were playing 2nd and 3rd string players and we still lost.
  6. A few names to keep an eye on. Alfonzo Dennard- CB Nebraska Bobby Massie-T Mississippi 5'10" 204 Lbs 6'6" 316 Lbs Ronnell Lewis- Olb Oklahoma zebrie sanders-T Flordia st. 6'1" 253 Lbs 6'5" 320 Lbs Billy Winn- DT Boise St. Orson Charles-TE Georgia 6'4" 294 Lbs 6'2" 251 Lbs Jared Crick-DT Nebraska Juron Criner-WR Arizona 6'4" 279 Lbs 6'3" 224Lbs
  7. It's just something to think about... I though that was what a message board was for?? Maybe I was wrong.
  8. In south beach Miami she is average at best!! For WNY she is REAL HOT!!!
  9. I think so! For those of you who are upset about the Gilmore pick, would You be more upset if Kuechly was there and the bills still took Gilmore?? Something to ponder.
  10. I'm Neutral on the pick. Even Revis in his first year was getting beat left and right and he is the best in the game. Cb is a tough position to come in and play day 1. I was really hoping we would get a guy who would be effective from game 1. He may cost us a game or two but in the long run it might be a good pick.
  11. Visanthe Shiancoe is still available. I remember he had a few good seasons with favre throwing him the ball. He's a big physical guy who can go down field and make plays.
  12. I played baseball with his brothers and I went to school with him. He never had any press or media around him when he was playing here. He was just a really tall HS kid. Good family and a good kid he is just enjoying his time in the NFL and taking advantage of his situation. Definitely not dumb either. All the gronk boys excelled in academics.
  13. These players that get in trouble in college are regular college kids doing stupid things. If you take an athlete like this guy and put him in a situation where he can be around positive role models he will be just fine. He looks really explosive and if we could pick him up in rnd 2 that would be great. Don't think he will make it to rnd 3.
  14. We have turned other position guys into good LT's i.e. peters. If this guy is 1st rnd talent I think we can make him a good starting LT.
  15. Matt Kalil height - 6'6" weight - 306 lbs arm length - 34 1/2 in hand size 10 3/8 in STRENGTHS - Kalil is tall and has an impressive frame that he carries well. He is equally thick and strong from his upper body down through his thighs, and he has thin calves and ankles that lend well to him being a light-footed mover. He explodes off the ball every snap and gets to his destination point with ease. In the run game, he can provide a punishing first blow to keep his man off balance, and is very comfortable getting to the second level to fit on backers. He has a technically sound kick step in pass protection and slides very smoothly. He is NFL-ready in terms of using his hands and has the ability to decleat defensive ends. WEAKNESSES -There are some concerns surrounding Kalil's ability to anchor and stall bull rushers, given his tendency to play upright. There were few examples of his anchor actually being an issue in college, but the limited level of knee bend he plays with could be a concern. He rarely snaps his hips through when blocking in the run game and is more of a mirror/positional blocker. He could have to work on his knee bend and flexibility to take on the more explosive ends in the NFL. Riley Reiff Height - 6'6" weight - 313 lbs arm length - 33 1/4" hand size - 10 1/8" STRENGTHS - Reiff is a big body who rolls his hips into his man to tap into his power and explosion. In pass protection he keeps his weight even to have a good anchor and stall bull rushers. Riley has incredible body control and is a true technician working within the box. He uses his hands well, and has the flexibility to play on both sides of the line given his fluid footwork. WEAKNESSES - Reiff is not the strongest prospect at the position, as he is more of a catch blocker in pass protection and won't have the ability to decleat any ends in the NFL. If any type of foe will give him issues at the next level, it could be heavy 3-4 defensive ends who could blow him back.
  16. Hey grondre reed, maybe you should look at the fact that we need a wr just as bad as a DE. You need to take it down a notch!!! With your long tenure on this board i expected more from you!! granted I haven't been on here long either but I know when to keep my opinions to myself. have a nice day
  17. That would not be good for manning. Let him go, we can get a good LT in FA or the draft. I'm not concerned about him leaving.
  18. I know that this may have been discussed before but with Meachum leaving yesterday and signing with the Chargers, would it be worth the pick assuming we could get a solid OT in the draft or FA?? The 2nd or even 3rd tier wr's that are available are not as good as wallace and he is better than any wr we would draft. Your Thoughts...
  19. When I was watching the Pro Bowl I noticed that 3 (newton, green, miller) of the top 4 picks were there and Mr. Dareus was not. I know he doesn't play a high profile position but you have to wonder if we might have been better off selecting A.J. Green with our 1st pick. I think that Dareus had a respectable 1st season with the bills and will be a good player for years to come, but would another viable WR threat other than stevie have been what it took to be a contender??? Your Thoughts??

  21. Valid Point!! I cannot think of a team who has had worse drafting than the bills in the last 5+ years.
  22. So our Bills have come back down to earth and have a few losses. We all knew that this is very possible and likely. Even with all of the negative things that we can focus on there is some glimmer of hope for our struggling defense... 1. Aaron Williams is healthy now and will probably end up taking mcgee's spot next season. I think this kid has a lot of potential and will be a really good football player for us. 2. Kelvin sheppard at LB is a work in progress. I believe he will be an above average LB if we can get the right coaching staff to teach him how to play the position. 3. Jarius byrd is a Pretty good safety!! along with wilson and searcy we are not that far away from a pretty good secondary. Another CB in the 2nd or 3rd rnd next draft we could be on our way. 4. With a healthy kyle williams and dareus in the middle, things will probably be more like the first 3 games as opposed to the last 3 games of the season for next year. I do believe that a switch to 4-3 is necessary for this D to be successful. 5. THE BILLS NEED TO STOP DRAFTING PLAYERS OUT OF THEIR POSITION. We need to draft a LB to play Lb. And a Cb to play Cb. We are notorious for drafting players and making them play a position they played in high school. I am on the edwards has to go train, but do it at the end of the season not in the middle. We have already lost so many players it's not going to do us any good to get rid of our d coordinator in the middle of the season. Go Bills!! hope we can play some good football the rest of the season.
