  1. Inside One Bills Drive: Marv: Robert, we don't want you to let you slip through our hands considering what you have accomplished in Washington. so we would like to offer you 10 million over 5 yrs with a 2.5 mill signing bonus. Robert: (feeling really giddy inside.. trying to contain himself to not blow it..is this for real?) Umm That sounds fair to me, let me call my agent and cancel all my other scheduled visits... No really, I'm not to excited over this signing but I do believe as someone else had mentioned the signing bonus is spread over 5 yrs, along with what I hope is low base salarys in the early yrs, so maybe he only will count for a million or so this yr..and when it comes time to cut him, the cap hit won't be too bad.
  2. Did Brady use his injury as a reason not to be at the pro bowl? just curious as he cbs loved his golf swing while he was playing at pebble beach today.
  3. Did anyone see holmgren at the end of the game shake Bill's hand? It looked like Bill walked to centre field and said "where's mike"? He just kind of stood at mid field with no mike around..kind of wierd.. maybe I missed something
  4. horrible call, they were running side by side each looking for the ball and jostling with eachother, the ref was so late with the call and came from the far end as opposed to the sideline ref running with them.
  5. also to try and predict whether his games translates or not into a good qb at this time is pointless..only time will tell, we just see him going opposite ways
  6. well I understand your point, but if your point is that you'd rather have Losman than Young then I question that entirely??Losman is a scramber and maybe one of the most inaccurate passers ever, the jury is still out on Losman
  7. im a little confused with your point, the risk of injury is always there in the nfl, no one can predict on that and most qbs in the nfl are multimillionares out there taking hits..maybe you mean because of his elusiveness he is more prone to get hurt, if he trys to run the ball..maybe so but thats his game..what he did this season was nothing short of amazing, why try to be negative on him and just enjoy what he may become..unless you just hate him
  8. he's 6'5, 233, I don't think he is going to worry about nfl defenders, 3000 yrd passing and over 1000 rushing this season, he will be something special..he's a playmaker
  9. not elusive like vick? have you seen him play and make people miss..he will be better than Vick, he is still very young, I think he's going to be a good one in a few yrs.
  10. The only thing I worry about Modrak is that a few weeks ago there was a article (for the life of me I can't remember where) basically stating that others around the league think Modrak is a joke, One source even went on to call him lazy as he is someone who watches one tape of a college player and makes a decision on him. I only wish I could remember where I read this..anyone??
  11. Have you guys checked this out? http://www.bengals.com/fans/feardatiger.asp hilarious..Its great to see things turned around for Cincinnati, I hope they go far, they should have no problem with us this week.
  12. I really have liked what I have seen of Losman up until last game but I don't blame him entirely, it's unfortunate that the coaches and front office have set him up to fail. Giving Mcgahee only 8 carries is a joke, our backs between him and shaud had 11 carries. Add to that our oline is garbage..I'm sorry but Bennie Anderson and Mike Gandy don't cut it in this league, ol big mike is a disaster, just bad personel decisions one after another. Why some people want Holcomb in there is beyond me, this guy has never been anything but really average, he's not taking us anywhere, I think JP has much more overall talent but he needs the playing time. Holcomb = blah I hate to admit but this team is a disaster and become a laughing stock. Look how many coaches have come and gone..same goes for qb's. It's really a shame as to how fast this team has fallen, I love this team, but where do we go from here? sorry to get off track..I like Losman 100 percent better
  13. its easy to review..hypothetical situation that happens all the time, say a rb is going down and the ball comes lose before his he is down..forwhatever reason, the ref had a bad a view and called him down but it clearly a fumble, i think the refs should not try to prolong plays, blow the whistle if you think he is down..but in the case where it might be a fumble, you should be able to challenge it. you can't fumble and then challenge to see if he was down..in my mind this needs to be fixed i found this article..has been talked about 20 teams wanted it to change, 24 needed to pass http://www.nfl.com/news/story/8321040
  14. I really don't fault the refs on that, it's just the system. I don't understand even if ruled down why it shouldn't be challengable.
  15. Without a doubt this is the one rule when it comes to challenges that needs to be changed. How many times is there a fumble only to be ruled down by contact and thats it...play dead. Anyone know if there will be discussion as to changing this rule or how often the Nfl discusses these items..maybe at owners meetings? Just curious
  16. anybody keeping the "how many times teddy's name has been called stat"
  17. take the bench holcomb stupid!!!
  18. thanks god for williams, holcomb is clueless, almost a delay
  19. this team is quite sad..we all knew it was coming, good breaks dont go our way
  20. holcomb this last 5 minutes is for your job..get er done
  21. this loss would be much harder to take than a blowout loss
